The quality of these refurbished antiques far exceeded anything modern that you could buy in the same price range. This is heirloom quality furniture ,beautifully crafted from high quality hardwoods and veneers and lovingly restored. Found Design sure saves you the trouble of scouring yard sales and antique shops for that just-right item. The only trouble is, you are not going to pay the yard sale price you could be paying. That $10 coffee table (that turns out to have been made by some famous Danish craftsperson) will cost you $700. But really, what are the odds of finding it at a yard sale?

Ordered 2 Untitled Table and Wall Lamp Nemo Ark on Nov 19 2025 with 4 to 8 week delivery. It is now…read more15 weeks and no sign of them. I ordered from the company because they're Canadian. I'd forgotten Canada's reputation for call centre penny mining stock scams and seniors frauds of 30 years ago. I see we're back at it in a different format. At 7 weeks I wrote asking where they were and was told the factory had closed for Christmas. I told them to cancel the order. They said they couldn't as they were in production. They just lied. Either the lamps had not started, they were being built, or had been built. If they were being built, they would not take more than a day to finish - they were just being retired for North American wiring. They were built which leads to the last option - they were built. if They were built or in production, it has taken 8 weeks to ship them from Europe to Toronto - and they still aren't here. I leave this weeks for 8 weeks and no one will be here to accept delivery. The Modern Shop says it's not their problem. customer Service just lies and says they're on their way. Dont believe them. The company is a scam or it's insolvent. They take your money and don't deliver. I'll be more careful and check Trust Pilot in the future before ordering again. DON'T DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE

It is now 14 weeks later and we still do not have our furniture. Multiple phone calls to the owners have been made and we still do not know when we will receive our table and chairs. We were led to believe that our furniture was being made by the owners and they finally admitted during my last phone call to them that our order has been out sourced. Where and to whom I do not know. I made a down payment that I truly regret making. I will never purchase anything from the Emporium again and caution everyone to avoid custom orders at this store because the owners over promise, raise expectations, and do not meet their deliverable deadline. Further, they have misrepresented themselves as on site furniture makers. We fell for a great sales pitch and are now dealing with poor excuses. We have a sinking feeling that we may never receive our table and chairs. If the owners treat everyone this way, they do not deserve business.
