Absolutely horrific service. I had a large sectional delivered. The two men called me, barked at me to come downstairs. I went down, they said "where do you want it"?. I said, in my condo? They brought it up, and dropped it in my living room. I asked them to take it out of the packing and assemble it, they refused and said "they had another delivery". I am a single woman, I then had to go and buy an exactoknife, and it took me over an hour to unpack it, and assemble. Almost threw my back out lifting the couches to put the legs on. The attachment for the sectional still isn't great. It needs two people to do it. There was also a black marker on the couch, approx 4 inches, in a very obvious area. I called the store and they were very apologetic, but then the same awful men came to get the huge amount of garbage After I demanded it. I had to wait all day to get this confirmed. I should have returned the part with the mark, but I didn't want to deal with this company anymore. The two men were obviously East Indian, and they didn't realize that I, as a pale white woman, knew exactly what they were saying as they laughed and came to my place. At 5 pm. 9 hours after my delivery, and my day off completely ruined. Sucks when the white woman has worked in India. They came in, barged past me, took photos of the furniture I put together, then ripped past me with the plastic and debris, almost hitting me in the face. I called to have that man fired. As is, I have a damaged couch, ruined my day, multiple calls... and I'll get nothing for it, except maybe the delivery charge of 89.$ Don't bother. Absolutely horrible.

Dmytro Chornyi served us very promptly and blew us away about his knowledge of the product(…read morerefrigerators) on the floor. He determined what our space was and showed us only what he knew would fit. He knew the dimensions of the fridges without needing to check a manual, and easily and quickly listed the pros and cons of the appliances we looked at. He found us a heavily discounted fridge ( some very minor dents) which was exactly the same as the one we liked on the floor. He found the history of why the fridge had been returned and printed us up a complete manual. He is a salesperson any company would be very fortunate to have in its employ The checkout process was handled smoothly by Kadence despite the computer system being down. She apologized for the delay and thanked us for our patience

Complaint Regarding Poor Service and Communication - Trail Appliances (Langley/Aldergrove Location)…read more I am extremely dissatisfied with the service and communication I received from Trail Appliances in Langley/Aldergrove following the purchase of several major appliances, including a refrigerator, oven range, dishwasher, and microwave with fan. The issues began immediately after we paid for the order. First, the store had our delivery address recorded incorrectly, which caused confusion and delays. More frustratingly, we were not informed that the oven range would not be delivered with the rest of our appliances. As a result, we were left without a stove for two weeks. Attempts to get in touch with our salesperson were unsuccessful--our calls were not returned. When I tried to speak with a manager, I was told one would return my call, but that never happened. On a subsequent attempt, I was told no managers were available. Only after I expressed serious dissatisfaction did someone make a manager available to speak with me. After several back-and-forth discussions with the manager, Roger, we were offered a mere $75 in compensation for all the inconvenience we experienced. Given the lack of communication, the delayed delivery, and the repeated address errors, this offer felt inadequate. Even after confirming the new delivery date for our oven, the company again had the wrong address on file. I had to call once more to correct this--despite having previously reported the issue. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with Trail Appliances' customer service and lack of accountability. I will not shop there again and cannot recommend them to others.

DO NOT BUY FROM SMS APPLIANCES!!!…read more In September 2024, I purchased an $800 LG fridge from SMS Appliances for my basement suite. The fridge was delivered and plugged in by their staff. The unit remained unused while finishing touches were completed on the suite. Upon move-in, my tenant and I discovered that both the fridge and freezer were completely non-functional. I contacted SMS Appliances, but they refused to assist, claiming their 30-day warranty had expired. They offered a technician visit at my expense, so I scheduled one for February 13th. When the technician arrived, he only spoke Ukrainian, making communication difficult. While working, he caused a strong gas smell, alarming both me and my tenant. It turned out he was leaking refrigerant into the unit. He completed the repair in 30 minutes, and I was charged $241. On March 15th, my tenant reported the freezer had stopped working again. I called SMS five times, left three voicemails, and finally got a response from the manager. He agreed to consider my complaint under their 30-day repair warranty (since February has only 28 days). He initially scheduled a technician for March 17th but later changed the date multiple times, offering vague assurances. When I expressed frustration over paying over $1,000 for a fridge that never worked properly, the manager was dismissive and laughed at my concerns. He insisted the issue wasn't refrigerant-related and that I would likely need to pay for additional repairs--despite the fridge never functioning properly since purchase. When I declined further service, he responded with indifference. SMS Appliances' lack of accountability, poor customer service, and minimal 30-day warranty reflect their questionable business practices. Other refurbished appliance stores offer 12-18 month warranties, and I strongly urge Calgary consumers to take their business elsewhere.

2 Ukrainian delivery guys are horrible ( black tacoma) came into our house to deliver refrigerator…read moreand as their boss mentioned should be wearing shoe covers, but they didn't wear any and walked on our carpets and flooring making mess with their muddy booths . they refused to take it off and more argue about it . I just spent 200 dollars on my carpet cleaning prior to delivery this is horrible customer service! and don't recommend these delivery guys in anyones homes .
