I shopped at so many places before going here: LayZboy, Leon's, the brick, show home furniture, etc. etc. etc. I knew that shopping local was important to me as well as supporting the Canadian economy. I landed on Rossini's furniture store and found they had amazing deals but are going out of business but their sister or brother store is Furniture Extreme and on Monday all their pieces are being moved to Furniture Extreme so I decided to check this place out. They were very helpful and one nice thing is that they can order you a piece in but you have to pay 50% down and if it arrives at the store and you don't like it then you get your money back in full refund or store credit that can only be spent at the store. When we bought the couch they asked us how we found out or heard about them and we told them through friends and then they asked us the friends name and found them on their computer so because we had a referral we got $25 off which is pennies when your spending $5000 and the friends that referred us got $250 to be spent in the store. Overall, great experience and very friendly staff.

I ordered a brand new couch that was discontinued but I was told they could still order it new, my…read moremother ordered the exact same one and it took 8 weeks to be delivered. Mine was apparently ready immediately which was weird. When it arrived there were very obviously used felt pads with someone else's dirt on them and I was told by the delivery guys that this piece wasn't factory sealed it was shrink wrapped and sold to me as a new couch when it was used. Additionally it was all wonky and the arm rest made a clicking sound and the cushions didn't line up. I raised these concerns immediately with the delivery guys and was told to keep it as a loaner and talk to the store to find a solution. There are a lot of features I like about the couch that I couldn't find in another one so after numerous discussions with the owner Andy I agreed for them to repair it and if I was happy with it then they would give me a 10% discount as it is still obviously a used and damaged piece. Also in conversation here I learned that their supposed worry free warranty that I purchased doesn't cover any structural components it's just for stains. Again misleading and not what I was sold on. I have since decided that I don't want their warranty as it wasn't what I was told it was and this entire process of them fixing it has been less than desirable as I had to follow up multiple times to get anything done. It has now been 4 weeks since the final repair. I have spoke to at least 5 different people at this store about the refund on multiple occasions and had to explain this story 15 times yet I STILL have not received the refund I was promised. How many people do I have to speak to for this to be resolved when they have all called and told me that they will get it dealt with and follow up. Not one of them has followed up. I am a business owner myself and it is VERY simple to process a refund. There are no excuses at this point and I suppose I will have to file a dispute with my credit card company since they are clearly incapable of resolving an issue as they promised.

Just recently, we purchased a kitchen set, and we are very happy with the quality of it compared to other furniture in most other stores. When we went in, we were taken around the store and shown a wide variety of quality sets at various price ranges, by both Glenn and E.J.. We eventually decided on a set that we know will last for many years. I should mention as well that on another occasion one of the legs on one of our dining room chairs from a set we purchased from Ambers probably 25 years ago, broke off at the base of the chair. E.J. repaired it for us (all good and sturdy) and did not charge us for the repair. Both my wife and I appreciated the excellent sales service by all involved and know that when we buy from Ambers we will have something that will look great for years to come (and is also Canadian made).

Other family members have also purchased furniture here and are very satisfied with their purchases. The furniture holds up very well and seems to last forever. The customer service I received has also been extraordinarily good as well. I had one instance where through my own fault, I caused some damage, and they were quite helpful to repair it as good as new. I think the current location has been there for at least 35 years which speaks well for the selection, service and value they have provided over time and give them a 5-Star rating.

Solid oak bed, very sturdy, and got to choose the height of the headboard and footboard too. Chose the taller of both. This is a queen bed and the headboard is 58", while the footboard is 40" high. I have now had the bed for 7 months and have not had any issues with it. It is the first custom bed I have purchased - and it didn't cost much more than some of the beds we looked at in other stores that didn't have custom options but would still have to wait several weeks to get in.

We are very pleased with our new furniture and area rug. Even though the chairs were custom made, they arrived several weeks ahead of the scheduled delivery time. An all around great experience!

Jee had to come back with another young man, so this was a two day adventure BTW. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us! As new owners, I feared you'd tell me sorry, but no, you did not. This table was bought Nov. 2019, and the previous owners sent someone out May 2022, leaving replacement rails in case what he did didn't fix it. Now hopefully it has been rectified properly.
