I had a bar fridge the was clearly dropped on one side before delivery. That was fine. But when I called in the service I got was terrible.

I went to the new Shawnessy location, where the Mcleod Tr. Brick moved to I guess. Great service, went in for a chair or two, maybe a sectional and the sales person showed me all items that I might be interested in, all the sectionals and everything on sale, told me to take my time and decide on any item(s) that tickle my fancy...lots of nice stuff on sale there in the way of chairs so I picked out a beaut of a pedestal swivel recliner and said I'd like to sleep on it, and purchased it online the next day for in store pickup that same day. And they would have delivered it for free if I wanted to but it was easy peasy to move so I just took it home from the store. All nice people there and eager to help you get exactly what you want, no pressure, no sales ploy as in telling you that you better get it now as factory shut downs and logistic delays cause availability problems....just take your time and if you see anything you like, they can help you with your purchase. The delivery guys we had lied and damaged our floors. At least 20 scratches on the floor plus 2 areas where chunks of hardwood were ripped out! We did not get compensated for any damage. Very poor after sales service. I bought a king size bed frame including head n foot board. When opened the box at home...got head board damaged. Called The brick n the sale rep told me she is just emailing me so that I could send pictures on the same email ID. After many calls got email n I did what she asked me to. My latest experience with the Deerfoot Meadows have been short of a nightmare. First the sales associate: Rolf, had told me and my mother that our washer and dryer will come on Sept 30th guaranteed, unless something has happened than a few days at the most. Rolf himself did not convince me with his sales approach, he did a lot of reading off his script he had and seemed more interested in making a sale. He did not tell us how many how in stock regarding the washer and dryer to provide us with evidence that they will come on the desire date. Funnily enough, he did provide my mother with his business card so she may call him to yell at him if anything happens. October 2nd happened and my mother gets a call from the Brick saying the washer is unavailable to ship and to schedule a day to pick up the dryer. As the washer wasn't due to be here until the end of the month (Oct 30th). Of course she gets upset, so I called them at 4:24pm at the evening to see what happened. The girl tells me she can of course transfer me to Rolf so he can order me something else, but I wanted the manager. She said, "The operations manager? She's on break she'll be back shortly, I will provide her with your information so she may call you afterwards." I wait until 5:14pm and think hmm weird she should be back from break, I will call again. A different girl answers and when I asked if I can talk to the operations manager, she said she's not back from break. I say, "When will she be back from break?" The reply back, "I have no idea, we're very busy, so I will grab your information and leave a message." I tell her I called earlier and have already left my information so she can give me a call, but she hasn't called me back? I just want to know when she should be back so I can her. She abruptly said that all she can do is leave a message, she cannot guarantee that the manager will ever give me a call back. Confused I asked so there's a chance she wouldn't be giving me call back? She angrily said, "When have I ever said that?" "Just now." I replied. I finished the conversation by saying I'll give you guys call back around 5:30pm anyways. It's 6:04pm now, and it's my final call. Mia answered and said that the operations manager wasn't in today, and he wouldn't be back until Tuesday; when I asked for her again. And that my order isn't due until mid October. Strange I told her that I was told twice that the operations manager was a woman and she was on break and that the washer wasn't due until the end of the month? She quickly relied, "Um nooo? It says on the file that it's coming in mid October and the operations manager is a man and he's not back until Tuesday. Our operations supervisor is a woman." I put two and two together and I asked for her name and said thank you for giving me for your name. And she hung up. Very interesting indeed. read more

I had vowed to never shop at The Brick again, after the last time I was there. It took about 10 delivery attempts (not coming at the scheduled time, then delivering the wrong item several times) and still I did not get the coffee tables I bought so I ended up cancelling the order all together. But since that was about 8 years ago, and they looked to have a good sale on some couches I liked, I thought I would give them another chance. It is very true that you feel watched from the second you get in there and someone will come and talk to you about every two minutes - way worse than a car dealership! It's a big purchase so you need a while to walk around and look at things! I ended up buying a couch, loveseat, and a chest freezer for a pretty good price. I paid the $80 for delivery and an extra $26 for them to pick up my old chest freezer and take it away. They first delivered the freezer and were on time and were on the right day so they were off to a good start! But then they said they couldn't take the freezer because there wasn't room in the truck, which I thought was weird because they just dropped off the same size of freezer, but they said they would be back later in the day so I agreed. They never came back that day, even though I stayed home all day to make sure I was there for when they came. I then phoned the delivery department and they said they would just pick up the freezer when they dropped off the couches, which sounded fine to me. When they came a couple of weeks later to drop off the couches, the delivery staff said they weren't told about any freezer pickup so they couldn't do it. It would only take about a minute to carry it up the stair ans put it in the truck, but I said ok I would phone back and see what to do about that then. So I then made another appointment for pickup of the freezer - this time no one phoned me in the morning to say what time they would be there, so I phoned them after lunch and they said that it was too late now, so they couldn't come that day, but could come tomorrow. I agreed, but since I wasn't planning to have to stay home all day, I had one appointment so I would be gone for about an hour during the day. The phone operator assured me that they should be able to work around my schedule. The next day I received a call in the morning from the delivery driver and he said that there was a note on my file that there was one hour where I was not available. I said yes, just from 11-12 I'll be out, but the rest of the time I can be home, and then he said that he would only be able to come exactly from 11-12. Obviously that doesn't make sense! At this point I'm pretty sure that they just don't want to carry a heavy freezer up the stairs and are doing anything they can to avoid it! So I said I may be able to cut my appointment short and be available anytime except 11:15 to 11:45 but he again said they were only available that exact half and hour and they couldn't help me out. I then phoned the delivery department again and made an appointment for the next week, which of course they didn't show up for. I now have a new appointment for next week, and I feel like I will never have my old freezer taken away. This will be delivery attempt number 6 - which is 6 days taken off work - which I guess I should have expected since my last purchase took 10 delivery attempts, I guess I just had hoped that they had improved since then. They are staying in business somehow, but with service like this, I really don't understand how! I do like the couches and freezer I received though, so if you can pick them up for yourself, The Brick may be for you. If you need delivery though, and especially if you need any old item picked up, I would look some where else. I have lost so much money from taking so many days of work for this, and have spent so many hours on the phone with them, I could have paid for much more expensive couches and just got them the first time! To make a long, long story short.....we will NEVER BUY FROM THE BRICK AGAIN! I asked THE MANAGER to ensure that everything we purchased was in stock.....no waiting because this happened at this store before!!! Was told that our $13,000.00 order was ALL IN STOCK! Nope.....found out the day of delivery that half of it was back ordered and would be 2 months!!!! Was told that I didn't have to set anything up, that all the furniture would be assembled and boxes removed! Nope.....dropped everything off a our Condo Door in Boxes.....sign here!!!! Had to spend 3 days putting together EVERYTHING and took "5" Dodge Caravan loads full of boxes, styrofoam and crap to the dump!!! And.....they made me sign for everything before I could open it and check for damages. I was told that they would take everything back to the store if I didn't! What choice did I have????? It was moving day and I had no furniture! I have now a wooden Night Stand with a chip out of the bottom corner......I can't wait to hear why they won't fix or replace it!!!!! Gee is it because I signed for everything before I got a chance to inspect it!!!!! HOW IS THIS COMPANY STILL IN BUSINESS? My Father owned a furniture store in from 1950-2000 and he would roll over in his grave if he saw this.......delivering furniture in a box, lying to Customers to get the sale.....it's all in Stock!!!!! The Brick are fuxking liars. We recently purchased round $6000 dollar furniture. Products are defective. Some are missing components. Some pieces have holes 1 mm off position so the entire thing doesn't fit. It took us SEVEN fuxking times to physically go to store and explain issues to their customer service. In addition to that, we required assembling service for 2 pieces of furniture. The price they came up with was nearly half of the furniture themselves. As the retail industry is falling, I think the Brick these crooks deserve to fail... read more

If I could give less then one star I would. I am so frustrated by these guys. We bought a new king sized frame and mattress from them about 6 months ago and that experience went great- probably because we picked our items up at the warehouse ourselves. We'd heard and read stories about delivery issues in the past but naively thought that it wouldnt happen to us... we were wrong and I am sitting in a camping chair in my nice new house. Absolutley ridiculous. Ordered a couch, chair and recliner end of June specically because we were moving and had broken furniture. We timed our move to coinicide with what we were told the delivery date would be, taking our old furniture to the dump. We have been sitting on the floor and in camping chairs waiting on these items that noone bothered to let us know had been delayed. I called a couple of days before they were supposed to arrive wondering why we hadn't been updated with a delivery time yet. Oh.. theyve been delayed, thanks for the heads up. Should be in next week don't call us we'll call you. Okie doke 3 weeks have passed the original delivery date called again only to be told that the couch and chair are there and waiting to be delivered but they wete waiting on our recliner... wait what? Apparently the recliner had been delayed until NOVEMBER... 5 MONTHS after we had ordered it. Why the heck would you sell something that would take almost half a year to deliver and why would you hold everything else back until then? We are waiting on our couch and chair since they will now be delivered this week however have cancelled the recliner and will be going elsewhere and no longer will do business with the Brick. Dont sell things you can't deliver and people are dependant on items showing up when they are supposed to. read more

I will never shop at the brick again. 4 years ago, I bought a couch with a 5 year warranty. Over the last month, one of the footrest mechanisms stopped working and the material is cracking and falling apart. We called 5 times and were told each time that someone would call us back in a day or 2. Nobody ever called us back. After 2 weeks, they finally responded to an email and informed us that they are not going to honor the warranty because the damage was caused by "neglect and pet damage". I don't understand how normal everyday use of a couch can be considered neglect or pet damage. Apparently, from other reviews I've read, this is a common business practice by this terrible and unethical company. read more

Have purchased 2 bedroom sets and our refrigerator from the Brick and have been happy, until our recent purchase of 2 television stands. They were an assembly necessary type of thing. We have never had to assemble anything from the Brick before and so were surprised and disappointed. They are cheap and assembling them was not enjoyable. We purchased a couch and love seat 4 years ago called regarding the cushions were starting to sag. Took pictures sent and email to the address we were told to at the brick. Received an email back regarding a technician would contact us. I took a few weeks but finally the tech got a hold of us and made arrangements to come and assess the couches. We were to contact the brick and they gave us 2 options of a credit or replacement. We went with the replacement from the Heritage Meadows Brick. Our Sales man Nash took very good care of us. There was a bit of confusion on the options but we went for the replacement of new couches and return of the old ones. I purchaced an extended warranty on a microwave oven. When the microwave broke down they acted like they didn't have a clue of what to do, like this had never happened before. I have made several trips to there sorry excuse for a store. They told me to phone the service number. The service number then tells you to bring the appliance to the store. They make you stand around for well over half an hour with no other customers at "customer service". They try to contact the service dept. They sent me home finally and told me the service dept will contact me. Still waiting. Lord help anyone from out of town who purchases there. I talked to my salesman, he was far less friendly and was not interested in helping, not his problem (funny, he was always so friendly when my wife and I were looking at appliances). In fact it seems like everyone just passes the problem back and forth and hopes it goes away. The low ratings for the Brick in Deerfoot Meadows is accurate, buy from a store with good reviews or buy at Costco where returning defective merchandice isn't such a labourious hastle. read more

My husband and I bought a mattress from the Brick and did not have a good experience. We bought it purely because of the price, but the hassle of the delivery wasn't even worth it. First of all, the mattress wasn't in stock and we would need to wait 2 weeks for it. We were fine with that because it gave us time to look for a frame. We were told that we would get a call the day after it arrives to schedule a delivery. 2 weeks go by and there still isn't a mattress. We called and they said that it still hadn't come in, but it would be there in a week. When they called a week later to set up a delivery, none of the times we wanted were available and they said they didn't deliver outside of the city limits during weekday evenings, which we were never told before even though they had our address. The lady setting up the delivery was also extremely rude and talked over me when I tried to tell her that we were never informed of their delivery rules. So I ended up waiting around on the weekend to get the mattress, and they were 45 minutes late. When I called to ask about it, the lady who took my call was rushing me off the phone and didn't care at all that they were wasting my time. Will never shop there again, their customer service is horrible and they just want a quick sale by putting in minimal effort. read more

Horrible, if I could give no stars I would, my boyfriend and I went in looking at mattress unsure of what we really wanted, other sales people seemed to be ignoring us, one sales person came up to us asked what kind of mattress we were looking for. Bought a whole new living room set, t.v. and surround sound system ....spent 5000$. A year and a half later stitching coming out on my chaise , not in 1 but 2 different spots!! Paid the extra for the blanket coverage warranty which was basically a waste of money!! After fighting for months now with them, they are finally going to send someone out to restitch it!! Really? That's what I paid extra for a warranty for was someone to come and restitch my furniture!!?? I filed a claim in September 2019 and request to repair my furniture. My furniture still had a warranty and I paid almost 500 $ warranty for it. 3 months back and forth to the store (Puneet an operation manager ) start to find a way to drop my claim by this excuse that this happens long time ago and they can not follow up on this repair. I explained that I need a technician to check it and she told me it will not change anything but she will send it. The technician with pre advise of Puneet came to my house fast look over it and said he can not fix it. I asked Puneet and she told me she can not help me too much and just make me satisfy. I started to write my complaint to Brick everywhere finally she called me and said she will give me a good deal and 70 % off for the new purchasing. I said I do not need furniture but if I need I will back to you. after 6 months I back to follow up with her promise. In-store their employee after hearing my story first laughed to me and when I was angry with his altitude he apologizes and said his face is smiling. She refused her promise and bring us to her store manager and he did not support us and they told us to do whatever you want to do we do not give you any better deal. I am sorry for myself that I trust them for the first time and buy low-quality material with a high useless warranty. Brick is a low-quality company with low respect for the customer. The following is my personal experience purchasing an appliance in Calgary and the hostility with which the vendor holds Consumer Reports. This Saturday I had reason to refuse delivery of a slide-in electric range because it would not fit. It could not be lowered sufficiently to slide into the counter top. The delivery crew in fact suggested that I raise the standard 36" height of the counter-top and all associated cabinetry. This Sunday morning I got a phone call from the general sales manager at the Brick store in Deerfoot Meadows asking when I would come into the store to pick an alternate range. He suggested that I upgrade to a Kitchen-Aide model. I explained that I would be considering Consumer Reports' customer reliability evaluations in my purchasing decision, He said I was wrong to do so. He said that their consumer surveys were not conducted with real consumers; that Consumer Reports was an organization that runs equipment 24/7 for 365 days to see which ones fail. I explained that I knew differently, having completed customer surveys for many years myself. He suggested i look to JD Power for reliability ratings for appliances. I returned to The Brick today with the intent of choosing another model. I could not find an alternate that met my requirements that the store could supply, so I asked for a full refund for the range whose purchase I had cancelled. This was refused. The Brick general sales manager commented that "how could he sell a model which was not usually stocked in the store? What was he supposed to do with it?" It is of course listed on The Brick's website as a model they sell. After much complaining and a promise to contact the Better Business Bureau, the Canadian Office of Consumer Affairs, and the CBC my purchase was eventually refunded. Needless to say this experience has turned me off The Brick forever. The general sales manager could have dealt with this situation by immediately offering a full refund the moment he introduced himself to me or apologizing for the fact the range would not fit despite my presenting detailed blueprints of my standard space to the salesman 2 weeks earlier. He then would have had a customer ready to brag about his customer service and one who would be delighted to make future purchase at The Brick. The sales manager appears to have been trained that it's only the current sale that has to squeezed out of a customer. Future sales are of no consequence. read more

I ordered a sectional sleeper it was to be delivered on a Wednesday I requested the morning but was told they can only give me a 3 hour window to when they can deliver the night before. Ok so I was told Wednesday between 1-4 pm.I had arranged a friend to come to my place for that time. Then that Wednesday I got a call from the delivery men at 10:30 am said they were on their way. I had to rush to work and lucky the office in my building agreed to allow them in my unit. I got a call at work from the delivery men told me they couldn't fit 1 out of the 3 pieces in my unit and if I wanted to return the item or take the one piece back and keep the other 2 pieces of the sectional couch! Why the heck would I want half a sectional couch? They took it all back. I ended up calling the manger and complained about the time and delivery. He spoke to my bf and agreed to have them come back Saturday after 1:00pm and my bf would help them move it in. Now I got a confirmation that it would be delivered between 8-11am on Saturday so I called to let them know the agreement the manager and my bf had! I also had spoke with Sabrina the other assistant manger and she was completely unprofessional. She told me nothing can be done about it and said she would call my bf and never did ! I asked if they can call the dry men or write a note to them or something and said they have no way of getting ahold of them. So wtf how do they even operate things. I have bought from the brick before but will never again from there. The staff is rude and Sabrina is unprofessional terrible customer service.! Now I have a couch that will be on the side of my building and have to wait for my bf and his friends to bring it in. I have guests coming and don't have furniture yet. I would give no stars if that was possible. Purchased 2 sofas on about June 10th for a delivery of June 23rd. Paid the full balance and was told yes the delivery would be in fact July 2nd. No problem. July 2nd comes and goes, so I call the Brick only to be told that the order was pushed to July 22nd. OK. July 22nd comes and goes and I get no sofas, so I call them. They are now thinking August sometime. I let them know that I will be out of the country from August 4till the 25th. At this point I ask for a refund for the entire amount minus the deposit to hold the price. They had my money and I had no products, so I thought why let them keep my money. That way I can decide after vacation what to do. While on vacation I get 3 phone calls about the Sofa's and the fact they are in!!! Interestingly enough I never ever received a phone call to let me know they would be late. The communication is atrocious, I completely understand they cannot control the manufacturing of product. However they can certainly keep the client informed. I made about 4 trips into the store and they were always flip and non-caring at the client service desk. SO today they have the sofa's in, I need to pay the remaining balance. They will not let me do it over the phone, I have to go in AGAIN! Hate the Brick!!! Worst customer service over the phone & in person, nice looking & well spoken salesmen to allure you make a purchase, then once you are done paying their money, they show their real lack of communication & knowledge plus some rude behavior as well. I received my shipment with too many issues, to name but few, minor damages here and there; missing items, and finally missing the hardware for the dinning table chairs. The funny thing is when you call customer service they don't know how to handle the situation. Their front desk ladies are unprofessional, bearly speak english and are rude. Delivery for a couch set was 80.00, so decieded to borrow a friends truck. Bought a 5 year warranty for the couch and actually ended up opening it up to find it damaged. Called for a replacment.. they finally agreed that it was fair for a free delivery.. Ten days later.. they come to my house... WITH NO COUCH!!!! but wanted to take my other couch. Called back the following monday- front desk ladies were again rude and unprofessional and eating while talking on the phone, tuesday called they said they would get back to me.. NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THE BRICK!!!! We bought a stove from them 3 years ago and lucky for us (said sarcastically), we also purchased the extended warranty. Low and behold only 3 years later the oven quits working. We call the repair department and they tell me "not to worry, that they will have someone out in a week!" Pardon me? I have a family of 6!!!! So a week later someone comes out, they order a part, said part arrives 2 WEEKS later. Guy comes out to fix the oven and realizes he has ordered the wrong part. Instead of ordering the RIGHT part that day, he waits almost a week to place the order. Now I wait some more...they say there is nothing that they can do for me...I have 40 people coming for my 7 year old's birthday party tomorrow. NEAT. We had recently hired a contractor who rebuilt our 4500 square foot home and we set out to completely updated all of our furniture.We also built a cottage in the foothills outside of Sundre that also required some durable reasonably priced furniture as well. We have arrived at the conclusion, after searching most all the furniture retailers, that the value for money of the products sold by the brick are as good as it gets...and i have thoroughly researched. Their sales people can be a bit over zealous, but i don't mind and i always pick one that i like and deny all others. They understand that i am the customer. You can find better products, but you WILL PAY MORE....a lot more. If you purchase from them, their delivery system is quite reliable and in our experience after using them numerous times, they are prompt and quite accurate. They have made mistakes here and there but they never complain or argue and resolve the error immediately at no cost to me. They will always correct the issue. I have dealt with most of the retailers of appliances and electronics over the years and must say that the brick fits the bill when you need good looking, durable mainstream furniture for a good price. Had gone to buy a mattress and was told that they would be getting it in their warehouse by the end of the week and that they would call to have it delivered the following week. Week passes NO phone call. I had to go into the store and track someone down. Was told that it was expected in a few days. Saw they had a good deal on a dining set so asked if they had it in stock - was told it was in the warehouse and that they could deliver it with my mattress. TWO weeks go by, not a single phone call. Go back to the store and was told that none of the items I had purchased was actually in the warehouse. Told them I wanted a refund on all the items, manager tried to get me to switch the items I had wanted to other ones in the store. Argued with them for 5-10 minutes before they would refund my money. Think you have warranty protection?? THINK AGAIN. I purchased a GE washing machine from the Brick on March 26th. On July 1st, the machine overflowed, and flooded my kitchen. Thinking it may be my high end pressure hoses, I swapped out the hoses for the regular kind. A couple of days later, IT FLOODED MY KITCHEN AGAIN. Apparently, the mechanism that tells the machine that the tub is full is faulty, and doesn't tell the machine to stop filling up!! So, this part managed to last a whole 3 months before it crapped out. I called the Repair Centre, and was told that because I live in Dewinton, 20 min south of the City, I was in a limited service area (meaning they service this area only 2 half days per week) So, a week later, the tech is scheduled to show up, but doesn't make it. Wait another day. Shows up, stays a FULL 7 MINUTES, and tells me I need a new part (really??) but he doesn't have it with him, and it needs to be ordered. (is it unreasonable for me to think that a repair tech should have a supply of parts with him??) Should be in in a couple of days (so now, we're into week 2 of not being able to use the washer) After waiting for 4 business days, I called the tech only to learn HE'S ON VACATION UNTIL THE FOLLOWING WEEK! So now I get to wait another week....this would be week 3. I called the Brick and said 'you sold me a faulty machine that has now flooded my kitchen twice, I don't want it, I want to return it and get my money back. ABSOLUTELY NOT, is their reply!! I MUST wait for the tech to replace the part (wait another week!) I told them this is not acceptable, that I don't want the machine, I don't want to clean up another flood, and I don't want to wait 3 weeks to have this machine repaired. TOO BAD for me! 'There is nothing we can do' says the BRICK. So no, they DO NOT stand behind their product, they will not help you out, they will not give you a replacement machine, they will risk that the part won't work and your home will FLOOD AGAIN, they will not compensate you for the time you spend taking your laundry to town to wash, or down on your hands and knees cleaning up the overflowed water. Beware of The Brick's faulty return policy. We purchased a king size bed and box spring from The Brick. Although the sales woman was not pushy during the purchase, we ran into a snag when I tried to cancel the box springs that were not needed. I called to cancel them after purchase and the sales woman insisted we should "just try them". When we received them we tried them again it with in the sturdy bed frame that we had purchased from another place. The bed was much too high as anticipated which I explained to the sales woman. Our mistake is that we had them drop them off and my husband set them up later that day. If you order furniture from them get them to set it up, inspect it and don't keep it unless you are satisfied!!! I got the runaround for a week trying to return them and then was told they were not returnable, even for store credit. Boo! I was impressed that they had CDN made furniture at a good price, but we will certainly not be buying from them again as they do not stand behind their return policy. Buyer Beware!!! read more

Terrible company! Stay away! I highly recommend shopping at a company that actually cares about their customers. I doubt they care about this review but I hope a potential customer may benefit and learn to stay away. I certainly wish I had read some of their reviews first! After a lengthy delay they delivered the table and chairs I ordered. After putting it all together I saw that the table top was badly damaged. I contacted them and after a lot of back and forth they said they would order another one. They tried to say that I would have to return the damaged one. After insisting that I paid for delivery they finally agreed to deliver the replacement when it comes in. No apology at any time. They really couldn't care less. When they finally got around to delivering the replacement they refused to assemble it (even though I was told that it would be). They even asked me to take apart the damaged one. Seriously? Why should I have to do any of this? It was their product that was defective and they want me to do the work to make it right. Terrible service philosophy. And of course, shortly after another piece broke so I had to go through their (lack of) customer service department. This time they refused to deliver a replacement and said that I would have to bring the damaged piece to their warehouse and exchange it. Again no apology even after I suggested that it is customary for a business to at least offer an apology when their product fails. Silence. To end this story, I went to their warehouse to make the exchange. I was asked several times when I would be there and I confined the date and time. I arrived at the exact time scheduled only to learn that I would to wait for them. I told them that they had wasted enough of my time and I was not waiting. I took the defective piece, placed it on their loading dock and walked away. I'm sure they think I'm a jerk because I wouldn't wait for them to get around to doing their job. I am not an unreasonable or demanding person but I do expect a company to stand behind their product and treat customers with respect. I can tell you that is not the case at the brick. I just recently bought a whole set of appliances "fridge,stove,microwave,& dishwasher" the sales person was great at the biggining, before we signed the purchase papers. After that was signed & done it was hell. He said the appliances should be in the following week. We called the week of delivery, and they did not know when they would be delivered. We talked to them back and forth they said half of the appliances will be in next week and the other half the following month. So we agreed stuff happens and it's just our luck, well it's been almost a month and a half and no call so we called to cancel the order then they said to us "oh it just arrived and we have to pick them up from the warehouse". Bla bla bla what I'm getting to is that the sales people are great before you purchase the product so they can get there commission after that your on your own. I would encourage everyone to consider very carefully before shopping at the Brick. I bought a couch from the Brick in August and had a terrible experience with the delivery team. They told me they were coming between 12 and 2 and showed up more than an hour before that time. When I was unable to be there at that time, they refused to wait, left and refused to come back during the window they said they would. Despite this, I went against my better judgement and bought a washer/dryer pair from the Brick on October 12. They were unable to deliver it at that time. They arranged to deliver it last weekend. When I called last weekend to get the time window that they were going to be delivering it, I was told they had no record of my delivery scheduled. The customer service agents were no help in remedying my situation. I spoke with the manager, but they earliest I was able to get another appointment was 8 days later. I called 3 times yesterday to find out the delivery time for my washer and dryer today, and they told me I would receive a phone call last night with the time. I never received a phone call. This morning, I phoned twice more. When I finally got ahold of them, I was told they would be there in an hour. I was not at home, so I scrambled to make last minute arrangements for someone to be there. They got there, but when I needed them to wait 10 minutes to get the key, they left. I called customer service, and they said the truck would be going back. It never did. I called customer service 4 more times, and they said they were trying to get in touch with the delivery truck and would let me know when they had further information. They never got back to me. Now they are telling me that they can't deliver it today, or tomorrow, and the soonest that a delivery is likely to be arranged is in 2 more weeks, if that. This is absolutely ridiculous, the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am angry and the Brick is not doing anything at all to remedy the situation. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and REFUSED TO HONOR WARRANTY - will NEVER buy anything from here AGAIN. I went in to purchase a stove, because the glass on the glass top stove that came with my house broke. I didn't want another glass top, because I didn't want to have it break again. The salesman convinced me that it was ok to buy another glass top, because their "Premium Warranty" would cover it if the glass top broke again. 6 months after purchase, the glass top broke. I called warranty, and got a run around. They sent a repair man who just took pictures, didn't actually do anything, and then left saying someone would call me within 24 hours. NOBODY called back. I waited for a month to hear from them, and then received a phone call asking if I was happy with the repair that the repair man did!!! I said there was no repair ever done, and the guy said he would look into it and call me right back. He never called back either. I finally had to go into the store, and they told me that the glass top was NOT covered under warranty, and there was nothing they could do. I told them I wanted them to refund the $200 that I paid for their "Premium Warranty" that was completely useless, and they said they couldn't do that either. Now I have to pay $500 to fix the glass top of my stove that I never wanted to buy in the first place. Buyer beware!!!!!! read more
