The wife and I both agreed - this place is at the top of our list. This restaurant has so many different tastes to choose from and our waiter was friendly, helpful and engaging. We will never again visit New Orleans, without a trip to this restaurant. There are hundreds of UNBELIEVABLY GREAT RESTAURANTS in the New Orleans area - But this is the ONLY AYCE Korean Barbecue that we could find. So, if you need to take a break from Poboys, Cheeseburgers, Jambalaya, Creole and Italian - GO HERE - Betcha won't visit just once!

Immediately noticed the pretty chandeliers and cleanliness of the restaurant. While waiting the waiter was kind enough to answer a few questions for us of how the ordering process works. We were promptly seated as soon as they opened. They turned on the warmer at our table and we placed our beverage orders. They explained how we would order from the tablet which was very easy. You order and within a few short minutes it is delivered to your table. We tried a little bit of everything and left happy and stuffed! Please come hungry because you will want to try everything. It is great to have a new restaurant on the Westbank with fresh delicious food and the service is top notch! We will be back soon!!

Order at counter and delivered to your table. Pleasant counter service - host on receipt was Rex. First visit so it took us a minute. Asked for suggestions and he told us what sold the most or was featured, not what he liked, which is what we wanted to hear. Ordered the Smothered Pork Sandwich combo with green beans and a drink ($12.48), a small rib plate w/fried okra and grilled Brussel sprouts ($13.99) and 6 Boneless Wings with a side of mac & cheese ($7.99). It took a bit longer than I anticipated to get our food. When it was delivered there was no ranch or blue cheese dressing for the wings, and I never did get the food runner's attention. Rex came back to check on us and he brought me 2 individual containers of ranch. Food: sandwich was divine and huge! Green beans were bland, mac & cheese was creamy, Brussel sprouts were cooked nicely though a little oily. Ribs were good and the smoky flavor on the first two ribs was heavenly, but the closer to the end of the small slab I ordered, the tougher they got and the flavor seemed to bland. Not sure why, just did. Fried okra was cooked just right and plentiful. As for the "infamous" wings, I mistakenly ordered them breaded, which is not the way I prefer them. They were okay, but bready and can't be reheated at home. I won't order them again if we return. There was a chicken sandwich on the menu that looked interesting. Everyone was pleasant and the noise level was low. They offer a police/military discount - thank you. If you go, get the smothered pork sandwich and the fried okra - that's all you need to be full.

Could tell they might have been a bit busier than expected, because some of the tables still needed to be cleaned. With this in mind, service was still very good. Waitresses were tag teaming the tables, which I love to see - customers before egos. Drinks were brought quickly and never ran dry. Chips were good, though we added salt. Salsa was very good - flavorful and not burn your mouth - and when our cheese dip arrived, I was in love! :) I'm not a big cheese dip fan, but this white dip was just SO good. Husband got 3 shredded beef tacos ($2.50 ea) with usual toppings ($.35). They were nice size and tasty. I ordered the Louisiana Burrito ($10) and sides of rice and beans. The rice was good, the beans I could pass; just not the texture I like. Now the burrito...my husband saw it coming first, and I heard him say, "Oh my God." I didn't know what he was talking about, then I saw it. It was HUGE - literally as big as the plate. They warn it's a 12" burrito. I really, really enjoyed it, but I took 1/2 home. Even reheated, I couldn't finish it. (NOTE: If you reheat, remove the potatoes/french fries or add salsa - they dried out in the fridge.) Check out was quick. Did we like it? Yes. Did we return? Yes. Ordered take out later in the week with beef tacos again, cheese dip, and the pork tamale. Now this tamale I like! It didn't have the traditional corn husk exterior that tends to get soggy or dry. I don't know what it was made of, but it was totally worth the $3 a la carte price. My next trip I'm going to try the chicken tacos with pineapple. Yum!
