    33 Diamond professional tables
    Tucker R.

When it comes to pool halls - this is literally the nicest establishment for playing the game I've come across. 33 Diamond professional tables - 17 7ft coin-op's, 15 9ft's, and 1 massive 10 ft. Coming across this many pro quality tables in one place was like walking in to billiard heaven. Another huge plus is there's not a cramped foot of space in the building - plenty of room to play and chill in every section. While there were plenty of TV's, they also had a live professional 9-ball match streaming on a large projector that was entertaining to us and several other billiard fans in that night. If you want a break from pool, darts/arcades are also an option. The atmosphere is very classy for a sports bar... An almost upscale-y feel with pleather high top seats, granite countertops, designated smoking areas only. Deli sandwiches are served Mon - Sat. This place is brand new as of late '13 and as fresh as they come... Expecting to get popular.

The outdoor space has a relaxed atmosphere where you could enjoy a drink and take a break from the busier parts of the city, while the indoor area still had plenty of energy when you wanted something a little more lively. They have a second floor level that works great for private events too. The drinks are excellent, and the bartenders did a great job putting together quality cocktails in a laid-back environment. Overall a great neighborhood bar with good drinks and a comfortable atmosphere.

We started with a refreshing Moscow Mule and a strong coffee drank, then ordered a dozen Gulf Coast oysters. I loved that each oyster was labeled by where it came from, making it fun to compare flavors and discover our favorites. Fresh, briny, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed, the drinks are well made, and the service makes you want to stay awhile. Whether you're catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet afternoon with someone special, Rusty Nail is one of those places that reminds you how wonderful the simple moments can be. We'll definitely be back for another round of oysters and cocktails. A perfect Sunday in New Orleans.

Upon entering we were greeted with a friendly hello by the bartender who immediately attended our table. Browning the menu they had a quite a bit of options to choose from. My partner decided on the patty melt with a side of Mac and cheese. The patty melt was delicious and the Mac and Cheese ...?? He still talks about it TO THIS DAY. DELICIOUS! I ordered the Carne Asada fries and those hit the spot leaving me full for the adventure ahead. We would definitely return again on another late night trip. The atmosphere was very cool with music playing and neon lights all throughout the restaurant since we were the only ones in the restaurant aside from one bar attendee.

Hubby & I loved that they had the drink/shot special (a familiarity we see in Houston often) so it's always nice to discover in other areas. They had the emergency shot special which is the green ornament wrapped around my neck--still have it saved in my freezer for our one year wedding anniversary. The service was lacking & we waited a good 10 minutes before being tended to. The neon signs and playful lights around the bar gave it a nice touch.
