we have tried to go here on three separate occasions in hopes of the food getting better. poor quality of food for what it is.

Food not so great, drinks are fine but you have to up the food game if you want to be in a great location & if you want to survive the industry. Brussels sprouts say grilled.. they seamed to be steamed and slightly burnt to give the persecution of grilled. read more

Used to go to the location in Mesa prior to COVID. It was a great place. Was anxious for the new location to open in Gilbert but have been terribly disappointed. Have visited 3 or 4 times. The menu has changed since COVID, and the food is mediocre at best. The beer was not cold. Last visit was for trivia with some friends. The trivia game was only displayed on one TV making it difficult to see and play. 9 TVs on the same game and only one on trivia. The music was terrible and way too loud. The servers and customers had to yell at each other to place orders. We couldn't even have a conversation with the people at our own table. They played the "Cheers" theme song, really, not even close! This is not a family friendly restaurant. We've given them several chances, but we are done with the Brass Tap. We receive better food in a better atmosphere by going to Barrio Brewing or TC's Pub and Grub. Applebee's is better than the Brass Tap. read more

Had the chicken tacos. Outstanding flavor. Ate at the bar. There was a great vibe there.

I the layout of the bar it's nice and open and patio is really nice. The food was decent for bar food, they have a nice selection. We ordered some wings, tots and a pizza. The pizza was ok, wings were pretty good until I got to the bone and a couple of them were bloody. The tots with cheese and jalapeños were good but soft. They were not crispy at all, we had to scoop them on the fork couldn't poke them to pick it up. Our waiters was nice she did check on us a lot, but didn't bring any silverware so we had to go and ask. Then once we had all our we waited to see if she was coming back, but once again had to go inside to get some plates for our food. They do have a wide selection of beers and every beer we had was good. If you're looking for a nice place to come watch games and just hang out it's good for that but they need to work on the service. read more

Stopped in after work for a beer and food . Ordered the boom boom wings which the bartender said were spicy , they are not . Nice size on the wings tho . A lot of options on tap but it's not cheap . 10 wings and 2 beers were 40$ . Bar service was slow and a bit inattentive esp considering it wasn't very busy . I know it's new so it should get better . I asked about a pizza menu and they said they were out of pizzas ( huh ?) didn't you just open ? Not a place to go to daily due to cost . Good looking place though . Hope they do well read more

After reading the other reviews I was really hoping to get the 5 star service. It was kind of confusing when we walked in weather or not we came in the right door. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our table was in a weird spot. Near the restroom, and by the other maybe front door? Our server did a good job. They were out of the beer that I wanted, no big deal, there were plenty to choose from. My wife and I decided to share steak nachos and a pizza. The steak were these weird strips, was hoping for some fresh, grilled, diced tri tip. The jalapeños were fresh, but they were sliced too, maybe give them a quick dice? The chips theme selves were good, and the queso was good too. The pizza was eh, almost like it came from the frozen food section. It needs help. My daughter had fish and chips, she said it was good, but the pieces of fish were small. When the "check" came, it was our server standing there giving me a total. I like to see an itemized bill, that way I know what I'm paying for. I would probably go back for drinks at the bar, but skip getting any kind of food here. read more

This place was so disappointing. We like trying new places and sadly we will probably not go back. We sat at the bar, and despite 3 bartenders, it took about 10 minutes to get one to take our order. The tequila pour my wife had was very light though my draft was good. The food was cold when delivered and not good. read more

I have been here a few times to sit at the bar and study and it has been amazing service. The other day I was there and this young lady behind the bar was talking to a woman about the specials and let her try one and she was very patient. The woman didn't want any of them and ordered something else. This woman was a bit extravagant and ordered a few beers NOT on the 5$ menu and then when the bill came she FLIPPED on the lady behind the bar. She was rude, poured the last beer in the bar top, said she was going to write a horrible review and that the lady behind the bar was stealing from her. SHE stormed off and made the people all around her very uncomfortable. The only reason I am writing this is because I knew the woman would write a review. She was talking loud her whole exchange there that I heard every word. I would not listen to anything she has to say about this place. I love the service and apologize on this ladies behalf for her behavior. read more

I've been to brass tap before and they are always so kind and courteous but I was disappointed today along with an incident that had happened yesterday also... I work in the same shopping center as Brass Tap and I'm all about going other businesses.. so I've order there for lunch a lot.. yesterday was a Friday and surprisingly they weren't very busy as a Friday .. I had called in and placed an order of their famous pretzel which was very good and I have no complain about that but as I walked in I was greeted by a waitress and had asked me what she can help me with and I gave her my name and told her I had called in for my order she then repeated my name since she didn't hear me when I had mentioned the first time then just walked away. I thought she was going to get assistance for me so I waited for 10 min and no one came to assist me, and by the way there were about 6 other waiters standing around and some even looked at me and didn't bother to ask me if I've been helped .. so I called out another waiter and told her I was waiting for my to go order and so she helped me but didn't come back with my order or at least let me know it was sti being prepared but instead let me stand there for 15 min and came back with my order. Today I thought I'll give it another try but after this incident I will not be giving Brass Tap my service again.. I walked inetting the waiter know what my name was and I was here to pick up my to go order.. a gentle men came and told me what the charge was so I gave him my cash and he came back with my order and walked away with my change... I was upset but I figured I'll be the better person and let you keep it and I won't be coming back. He could've said here's your change ma'am and I would've said it's ok keep it but he never said anything to me but walked away with my change.. I'm so disappointed!!! read more

We recently moved to the area from living and downtown chandler and was missing the bar feels and this brought it back! Perfect place for families. Parents can sit on the patio and enjoy a beer while the kids can run around in the big grass field or on the playground and remain in sight. They even have a ball cart to encourage kids to run and play outside. My kids seem to make new friends each time we go. Beer selection is great just wish they had some domestics on tap, but can't complain as there is still beer. Tons of TVs and whoever is in charge of the music is awesome. Great overall vibe. This location is great as we are dying for bars like this in Gilbert and you can tell that their service is the first priority. The staff is happy, fun, and on top of their game. This is a model that needs to be followed for a restaurant/bar for a family oriented community like Gilbert. Once they start doing live music in that amphitheater it will just take it to another level. read more
