My Mom has become a huge fan of Lucky Penny as I took her to Red Rock and GVR locations. I told her that The Brass Fork is the same thing, just a different location and name, so she was on board. We came in and were seated immediately. Our server and busser were super friendly and attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. I ordered the Vegas Cheesesteak and it was amazing! I had my Mom try a bite as she had tried it at Lucky Penny at GVR and she said it was on par. Her grilled cheese sandwich with soup was amazing as well. The overall experience from the employees and the food was absolutely amazing. I had eaten here once before YEARS ago with friends, and it was great then as well. My only complaint is where we were seated. It felt like we were out in the open and not reserved in which I like to be when dining with Mom, because I like being able to talk to her and spend quality time. I wish they would have sat us in a booth, but understand why they didn't as my Mom was in a wheelchair, but was more than able to stand up from and sit in a booth. At the end of the day? Kudos! I like that the restaurant is offset from the casino floor so it is not noisy and a great place to catch up with your dining partner. The menu consists of a little something for everyone. Late review, sorry Out of town guest wanted to dine there (he had previously stayed at SF and liked the Brass Fork). Went on Friday for a meal between lunch and dinner time . Wasn't crowded, seated fairly quickly, Kimmie was our server, pretty attentive and engaging. Our guest ordered the fish and chips, I ordered the turkey club and my usual dining companion orders a Reuben . The fish and chips had two largish pies of battered cod (heavy breading) but the fish was tender My turkey club was substantial (I always omit the lettuce, just don't care for iceberg lettuce) . The Reuben was ok, I think the pastrami was too well done, almost crunchy. All the fries were salty and crispy . A decent meal for the price. Came here after a late movie at Santa Fe Station, and this is a standard casino coffee shop. It's open 24/7 which is so nice since so many properties have started closing their coffee shops and veered away from the open 'round the clock model that Vegas was once so famous for. We were seated quickly but the place was bustling. Take note that they have amazing new graveyard specials that start at 11 pm, and the place fills up QUICKLY. On the weekends, you can expect hour-long waits to get the deals. Our server came over quickly and seemed really on the ball. He took our order quickly and was very professional. Since we had a comp, we ordered a quesadilla appetizer, chicken noodle soup, a sandwich, and the chicken alfredo pasta. The quesadilla was fine, but overpriced. It looked and tasted like something I could've made at home. I would skip this. The side salad was a lot better, a decent size and the ingredients were fresh. My chicken noodle soup looked like it had been made with beef broth, which freaked me out since I don't eat red meat. I just left it and had my hubby eat it. This was a big disappointment for me. Hubby said the chicken wings were really tasty, and he even ate the left over the next day (which he never does). My pasta dish was good, but definitely oversauced. Like, so much sauce that it ruined the pasta. The chicken was high quality and cooked perfectly, but it wasn't seasoned at all. I also ate half of this left over and it was better left over because I could drain off a lot of the sauce. What let me down the most about Brass Fork is the service. It started out great, but then got TERRIBLE. We both had water to drink, and we never had our glasses refilled, not once. I left thirsty. And we had to wait almost 20 minutes -- yes, TWENTY minutes -- for our server to bring a check. Hubby finally just went up to the counter to wait in the huge line to get a check so we could pay. I eventually was able to pay, so he got out of line and at that point, the manager screamed at us "have you paid?!!" Like, dude, I am NOT walking out on the check, it's your crappy server who never came back to check on us. I didn't like him assuming we were leaving without paying. Like, who DOES that anyway? I will likely eat here again especially with a comp because you can't beat a free meal. But I'll ask for an extra glass of water as well as my check as soon as my meal arrives next time. Always a great place to grab a bite anytime of the day. There's something for everyone on the menu. Myles and Juan our servers were EXCELLENT! We met with my cousin and her husband for dinner while they were visiting from out of town. She wanted breakfast which you can get 24/7. I'm a low carb eater which can be challenging but I made it happen. I ordered a double burger with no bun or fries. I asked for a bed of lettuce so I could cut up the patties and make a cheeseburger salad. Myles was so accommodating and not irritated with my request. She didn't bat an eye when I asked for my crazy deconstructed burger. The guys both got chicken fried steak which were HUGE! I failed to get a pic but their food looked delicious. My cousins omelette was a generous size and perfectly cooked. Our service, food and overall experience were all perfect! The restaurant itself is clean and well maintained. I stopped in here for lunch on a recent visit to the Santa Fe Station. This restaurant basically serves as the coffee shop for the hotel. For what they have to offer, the prices on most items seemed a little high to me. However, they were offering a cheeseburger special for only $5.99 which turned out to be quite nice. The food itself wasn't amazing, but it certainly wasn't bad either, especially considering the price. The burger came hot and fully loaded with tomato, onions, and pickles, and the fries were fresh and served hot as well. Honestly, it was a bit more than we expected for a $6 meal. The service was fine. Our server didn't seem particularly excited about us ordering only the special, which is understandable, but she was still pleasant and got our food out quickly. This restaurant is located inside the Santa Fe Hotel & Casino. I ordered the Chilaquiles with chicken for breakfast. My server did warn me that although it wasn't an authentic Mexican chilaquiles it still packed a lot of flavor and she was right! It was really good. The service was quick and the staff was kind. The vibe was cool since I sat out in the casino area and enjoyed the music. This may be the only 24/7 restaurant in the hotel so you can get breakfast/lunch or dinner at any time. We also got a bbq regular burger and the patties seem to be the same size. I also order the calamari fries as an appetizer and she forgot about it. We opted for the New York strip, and as you can see from the picture it looked and tasted absolutely delicious. It was a great choice as a backup. I also opted to get sautéed mushrooms on top of it, which I would recommend. The side of mashed potatoes was also very creamy and had lots of flavor. My favorite dish is the bacon and egg fried rice, but this past visit I opted for some oatmeal and avocado toast, and it was a scrumptious change-up! It's nice the mix-ins (walnuts, brown sugar, and raisins) for the oatmeal come on the side so you are able to add or omit as much as you'd like.
