Where do I begin?
First of all, EVERYONE SPEAKS ENGLISH. As a bonus. most are bi-lingual or tri-lingual offering Portuguese and Spanish which is perfect for that community. They also answer the phones in English which is refreshing considering it seems anywhere else you call in the US , it prompts you with the Press 1 for English option and you have to jump through portals to even get a live person.
STAFF ANSWERS PHONES AND ARE ACCOMMODATING. When I needed to come in before their 24 hour guaranteed window to pick up my next set of aligners, the staff checked with the lab and made it happen. They helped me out with this a few times and did it with a smile. Sometimes you would wait on hold but that's because they were working to get me an immediate answer. They were also on top of my account balance and always provided up to date statements. If you're planning on paying for your services then you shouldn't have any problems at all. If you're not planning on paying, well then, I have an opinion for people like you but I won't yelp about it here. The staff is younger but they are NOT interns. They are the up and coming, bright, enthusiastic talent that sets this practice apart from others. Think of it as an episode of Grey's Anatomy. Young talent learning from the best.
DR RIZZ IS A GENIUS AND HE CARES. First of all, he INVENTED THE SIMPLE ALIGNERS. Do your research people!!! At a fraction of the cost of Invisalign, these aligners work and I am proof of that! I went in for a consult originally thinking I could get veneers to fix my very crooked front teeth but after meeting Dr. Rizz for just a few short minutes, he convinced me to go with the simple aligners. He gave me a treatment goal/plan of 5 months and exactly 5 months later, the treatment was complete and I now have a beautiful straight smile! I wear retainers now (and you will for about 3 months after treatment) but after that it's onto evening wear only. I have to say, I was a little skeptical because I thought I'd be wearing these for two years but I desperately wanted straight teeth so when I heard 5 months, I was sold. Of course, you must do your part and wear them for at least 23 hours a day. You can do that right? You DO want straight teeth and the best results right? If you don't do this, you're just wasting your time, his time and your money. When any Dr. gives you orders, you should listen and do as they say or you only have yourself to blame. An orthodontist is no exception. Finally, it is my opinion, as I've gotten to know Dr.Rizz over the past year, that he personally addresses negative reviews because he cares about his practice. If he didn't care about his patients, he certainly would not carve time out of his busy schedule. Which, by the way, is why you only see him for a short time on each visit. HE'S BUSY AND IN HIGH DEMAND. He has two offices. It's really no different than when you visit the dentist for a cleaning and spend all the time with the hygenist only to see the Dentist at the end of your visit for a short blink in time.
YOU GET USED TO THE FEELING OF WEARING ALIGNERS. Of course I'd be lying if I didn't say it took me a little while to get used to them. In fact, when my first set was made I walked out of there feeling like a vampire! It felt like I was wearing fake teeth like the kind you see on Halloween and I was convinced that everyone could see them. Yet when I asked my closest friends and husband they assured me that they were invisible. I wanted to cry at first but I pressed on because I wanted straight teeth more. I can honestly say after about a week they didn't feel weird anymore. I also cleaned them with denture cleaner about every other day and that kept them feeling fresh and clean. There's nothing to the cleaning either, you just drop them in a glass with a tablet for 10-15 minutes.
TEETH CONTOURING IS COMMON and usually reserved for celebrities like Katherine Heigl. (Grey's Anatomy analogy again, I can't help it). Remember how she used to have a little crooked tooth in the front that stuck out? Well, her version of Dr. Rizz shaved, YES, SHAVED HER TEETH down with a special tool that transformed that tooth into a perfect pearl. It sounds scary when you say it was shaved but much more acceptable when you say contour. Turns out this is a common thing that many of the top cosmetic dentists do today. Dr Rizz. contoured my teeth too so that I's have a perfect smile. At first I was scared to death that he made intentional spaces in between my teeth, horrified even and I was worried that this was not normal.. But then, I did my research, thank you Google, and all was well with me again. Dr Rizz was absolutely right, "sometimes you have to move the couch to squeeze in a love seat" or something like that. All I know is that my bite is perfect, my dentist agrees and bottom line is, I LOVE MY NEW SMILE! THANK YOU DR.RIZZ! read more
