I am hard to fit and a plus size, but decided to make an appointment because an ad opened up on my phone. My expert bra fitter was a trainee that didn't listen to anything I said. I told her I look for support, slightly padded, and not too frilly. She measured me and said, "I'll be right back, I know the perfect bra for you" A little excited to see what she would return with, she came back to the dressing room with pieces of string that she claimed were bras. Not a one was supportive or padded, and there was lace all over. I told her those are not the types of bra I wear and off, she went to go grab a few more. This circus lasted for 4 returns to the dressing room until finally she went to get her manager, Margo. In the 3 minutes that Margo was in the dressing room, she left to come back with an appropriate bra. Margo was extremely helpful and made me feel like I wasn't wasting my time. Unfortunately, this boutique doesn't cater to plus sizes and I had to special order a bra in my size. Took a chance and after 2 weeks came back to try on. They weren't perfect, but would work, otherwise my only other option would be store credit that I would spend in friends because of their limited large sizes. A suggestion. Teach your staff the importance of listening to their customers so they are not bringing bras to you that are inappropriate or nothing at all what is being described. A word of caution to other plus size gals. Their selection is very limited. They have a no return policy only store credit. I took a leap of faith and special ordered 2 bras that I can live with. Had those been in stock when I was fitted, I would have passed on them. read more

Black woman owned bra fitting shop. I was very glad to have found this place, it has been over two years since my last fitting and in that time, I've been pregnant and breastfed two babies. I knew my bra size had changed. I was able to book a fitting on the shop's Facebook page and it was confirmed shortly after. Although the shop was very busy, which I thought was a good sign, the owner checked me continuously to let me know I hadn't be forgotten. Once it was my turn for the fitting, I was asked what size bra I currently wore and I was measured. I was shocked when I was told my cup size had changed two sizes. Even more shocked when the correct bra size fit as well as it did. The woman who did my fitting as well as the owner were very knowledgeable regarding the fit of bras and what company made the best bras to fit you. I was shown different ways to put on my bra, I only knew the tried and true method that was taught to me many years ago. I was so happy with the newly sized bra that I walked out with it on and donated my old bra to a charity the shop supports. I went in for a bra fitting appointment about a week ago. The shop is nice but has very limited choices in bras. I was "fitted" and thought I would receive a full fitting. The only thing that was meassured was my band size. Cup size was never mesaured. The lady helping me with my fitting brought several bras in the the dressing room for me to try on. I was looking for a bra that is comfortable and would give me better back support. I felt none of the bras I tried on were comfortable or had good back support. I felt rushed during my fitting and pressured into buying two expensive bras which I feel are not going to meet my needs. I can't return the bras because of their very strict return policy. You can't get a refund only store credit which is absolutely asinine. Over $100 down the drain. I will not be returning to this business nor will I be recommending it to anyone. read more

And not just a few. The nice ladies who've fitted me in the past found 10+ bras that not only fit me, but were stunning. No more preteen-looking bras for me! The Bra Spa is a Tucson gem, that I am discovering just now?! I decided to have a fitting to make sure I was wearing the right size/fit of bra since we know that just makes the overall outfit look all that much better right ladies? I walked in and my name, welcoming me, was on a little board at the front counter area. Renata took me right back into the salon area where she promptly measured me and went right out onto the floor choosing a variety of gorgeous bras that held it all in but were gorgeous to look at! After trying on a number of bras, I landed on 3 beautifully fitting quality pieces! Renata was very knowledgeable and I felt super comfortable with her... I mean after all, I am gabbing with her about undergarments topless so comfort level is important. The inside is incredibly welcoming, posh feeling with lots of lace and satin to drool over. When I was ready to check out, these two little sweet friendly doll babies... Rose and Daisy were there to thank me for coming. I mean, as a dog obsessed person, I give extra points for dog friendly businesses! In my bag when I arrived home, I found some treats other than the bra's I had purchased - a cute tape measure, a treat for my own dog (of course I was sharing I had a dog named after a flower too), and a lovely pair of lace "unmentionables". A woman came in as I was paying dropping off donations of bras that were in good shape. Apparently the Bra Spa supports to local charities. I was back the next day after cleaning out my lingerie drawer of bras I would never wear again, to support them with my own donations. I'd seen some advertisements on Facebook and wanted to visit for awhile. My mom finally made an appointment. She came from Mesa and thought it was worth the drive. We were greeted for her appointment immediately. The fitter was pleasant, fun and helpful. She provided several options and explained how different styles and materials fit. My mother left with two great fitting bras, cleaner, and panties. They have a great selection of bras, panties, lingerie and swimwear. We're both large breasted women and saw lots of options that would fit and actually provide support. I'll definitely be going back and so will my mother. Prices weren't too high. I hate bra shopping. It rates next to going to the dentist.  Mostly the cute bras are in sizes AA,A and sometimes B. The C and over look like a geriatric ward was pilfered. and they don't fit anyway. My Story: Several years ago, I did a home visit for a possible dog adoption. The woman with two children had just moved into the Tucson area. Her home had racks and racks of bras. This is a curious thing to have in one's living room. She told me that she was intending to open a Bra Shop shop in Tucson on Tanque Verde west of Kolb, in the La Plaza strip mall. If there is a man reading this, wearing a bra that does not fit is like wearing briefs that cut into your "privates" ALL DAY LONG.   I was so uncomfortable in my bra, yesterday, I decided to pop into that shop "the Bra Spa". I was warmly greeted. The shop was impressive. They asked me how they could help me and I told them that I hated my bra. Then I asked about the owner and told them my story from several years ago. The owner was on vacation, but they were anxious to pass on my story to her. I was escorted into an adorable dressing room by a young lady. She asked me if I had ever been fitted for a bra? I said "no". She asked me what I didn't like about the bra I was wearing. Actually, there were a lot of things I didn't like about the bra I was wearing and that was why I came to this shop. Lately, however, the wire was causing pain under my arm. So I asked if a wireless bra gave any support. After taking my measurements, She also asked me if I like a half-cup or full-cup coverage. I told her that I don't like half-cup because I tend to fall out of them when I lean over. She laughed and said, "that is why I came into this shop and ended up working here".  Then she went in search of several bras that I may like. It seems that all my life, I was wearing the wrong size bra and that is why the wire was cutting into my breast. The first bra I tried on actually fit and was very comfortable.  She left and went in search of more bras to try on. While she was gone, I peeked at the tag.  STICKER SHOCK:  1. Wow, all my life, I have been wearing the wrong size. 2. This bra was made in France 3. Don't they have large breasted women in America? 4. PRICEY 5. I loved the bra 6. I don't care about the price; I'll stop eating 7. I bought it. 8. They noted my size in their database 9.  They noted the bras that I would come back later, when I win the lottery. 10.  I vowed to tell all my large breasted friends to visit this shop. A friend recommended this place and she made an appt to meet there so I could have a bra fitting. Appts aren't required, but can be nice. When I arrived, my name was on a cute little blackboard welcoming me. A nice touch. The shop is elegant yet cozy. I was taken back to a beautiful dressing room and attended to by Jamie. I found, as expected, I had been wearing the wrong bra size. The very first bra Jamie brought me, felt like skin it fit so well. Amazing. She brought me a variety of other bras and was incredibly intuitive; just seemed to know what I would like and which would fit me well. I ended up purchasing the first two bras she brought me, they were perfect. One was on the clearance rack and only $20. They offer a range of prices which can work for anyone. It was a transformative experience for me. The supportive environment, beautiful bras that actually fit me for what feels like the first time in my life and very educational- I learned so much. It was fun looking around and have a fitting room reserved for me to try things on while Jamie was always available to help. The other women were wonderful as well. I enjoyed chatting and being in their company. I wanted to comment on the review about the tip. Yes, you are asked on the screen at check out if you want to tip. Just like almost every place you shop at nowadays; it has become common. There are articles written about just this topic, it's such a big issue. I have frequently been embarrassed and frustrated by this new practice in America that doesn't seem to be a thing in other first world countries. However, the woman who helped me made it VERY clear that I would be asked on the screen and to please not feel any pressure at all. She said she knows it's uncomfortable, for both of us really. She was so sweet about it and I felt zero pressure. Now, I did decide to leave a tip because I got such personalized service, the same as I would being served at a nice restaurant where I would customarily leave a tip. Jamie fitted me, educated me, searched the shop for a variety of bras for me to try on and was there every step of the way. It's a unique shopping experience, one that many of us have never had and I felt in my case it was appropriate to tip. If I went in again, which I will because there is a bra I keep thinking about, and just picked up some things for myself to try on and purchase, I don't think I'd tip, but I felt the least amount of pressure to tip than I have even at some coffee shops where they don't actually serve you. I have been putting off buying new bras for at least 2 years. I hate the process. Searching aimlessly through the sea racks only to make countless unsuccessful selections that look and feel awful. Jamie was AMAZING. She took measurements and then went on the hunt, leaving me to take a couple work calls. This was by far, the most amazing shopping experience I've ever had. She is truly gifted. I think only 2-3 were meh. The others were spectacular. You will spend more but you get what you pay for. They are absolutely worth every penny. I bought two bra's this past week, Renata was helpful however I wasn't told that they charge a $10 re stocking fee if I had to return it. She knew I wanted to try it on with tank tops. SO to my surprise I learned this, I was told "it's on my receipt" ironically by that time it's too late. More frustrating was how Margo handled the situation when she learned that I was unhappy. Not concerned that I was unhappy or offered an apology or try to make it right. SO I lost $10 to put a bra back on a hanger. This isn't good customer service and even though it's a pleasant place to shop, repeat customers and referrals are what makes a business successful. read more

OOOOH I hate bra shopping. So I put it off and put it off and my bras become a little threadbare and sad and then I finally force myself to go get new ones. Well. Now I've found Margo and the Bra Spa. I love her! I found out that I've been wearing the wrong size since I first grew boobs, but now I'm all straightened out. Margo even kept bringing awesome deals from the clearance rack and I walked out with 3 bras and a bikini top that actually fits (WHAT?!?!?) for $120. I have been to many bra fitting shops for years. I found this one to be unprofessional. I had to encourage the staff to work, they seemed to be in a hurry, would tell me I don't think there is anything here for you....WHAT, Then bra was Ill fitting, extremely tight. I understand they will stretch but you have to breath! Thank Goodness I had a bra extension at home. Then charging me to ship when I was not charged first time around. Requested charge to be refunded! then I was told to pick it up, and it was her error! FAT SHAMING WORKERS!!! Was just in there and they pulled up my size from last year. They didn't carry my size so I grabbed sizes that might still work because my weight changes throughout a year time frame. The worker grabbed them out of my hands, refusing to even let me try them on, and said to "go back and find my size" and that "the ones I grabbed are like someone being a size 14 trying to SQUEEZE into a 10, it just doesn't work". I will NEVER EVER go back and I will tell everyone to never support a company that allows fat shaming! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!! A company that prides themselves on being all inclusive and supporting women, they clearly need to reevaluate how they speak to their customers. read more

Literally one of the greatest experiences buying a bra ever!! I often go into a store for a bra only to walk out empty handed or feeling discouraged, not here! I left with four beautifully fitting and beautifully designed bras that made me feel so amazing! This is my favorite locally owned store in Tucson! In the past 2 years, this amazing staff has fitted me during my prepregnancy ( 34 k) / pregnancy ( 36 M ) and nursing (32L). I just walked in this afternoon and described the kind of swimsuit I wanted ( bra like top , high wasted bottom) and the staff handed me ONE combination and it fit perfectly.
