I would advise if there is a specific item you are seeking come early in the day because popular items go fast! There are bargains to be had if you time it right. I was correct in assuming at the scarcity of items available. However, I was able to pick up some toys for Toys for Tots. I buy toys throughout the year so I have a bundle to donate when collection time comes around. So my visit here was not wasted. My purchases were under $20, which kept me within budget. The employees here are always so nice & welcoming.

Unfortunately, one of the keys didn't work, so it ended up being a waste of money. The store is a bit far for me, so going back to have it fixed wasn't worth it, especially with gas prices. It was easier to just take the loss and have it remade somewhere closer. That's the only reason for the four instead of five, because their customer service really was great.

Yesterday I decided to stop in once again even though my previous experiences have been less than pleasant. I was so pleased to find a kind smiling face ready to greet me. In the past the owner has not only been rude, but intimidating and often left me feeling like she was doing me a favor by allowing me to peruse her merchandise. When I arrived yesterday I discovered that 11 months ago "European Living" received a new owner. She was genuinely kind and helpful even ordering additional product for me to help me complete my project. The selection is not fairly small, but like I previously stated. I didn't really know…read moreanything about European style tablecloths before but the young woman who owns the shop was very knowledgeable and introduced me to some lovely French provencial patterns and shared some of the history of the cigale (cicada) pattern. Decided to get a rectangle to fit the family dining table with the leaf in it, and upon her recommendation, I treated myself to one with the specially treated finish--spills wipe right off and yet I can still feel the nice fabric. So much nicer than vinyl! Loving the way the table looks, and can't wait to go back and get another one in the round size to use when I take out the extra leaf.

I was also looking for another type of stone, but the store didn't have it. The rep that helped me was so nice and courteous. She even helped me put on my bracelet. when i got home i tied extra knots in it so the beads at the end would not dangle so much. Based on my first visit, i wants to go back. So this time i brought my sister. It was an evening and we had the entire store to ourselves. My sister nor I knew what we wanted so we just kind of looked at everything. I told the lady at the counter about my previous experience and showed her my bracelet before I even started shopping. She was overjoyed that i came back and brought someone. She was helpful in telling us about the stones, etc. I know what you are thinking at this point...why only two stars? It is because I felt that she was a bit bias. Although she had a smile on her face when I was checking out, she asked " And the bracelet too?" Pointing down at my wrist. I turned my twisted over to show her the knots that i had previously showed her when I walked in. I don't know how she forgot or how she would insinuate that i would wear a bracelet without paying for it. I was deeply offended because I feel that should have never happened. I spent almost $70 and my sister spent over $100. To insult customers for wearing your jewelry is a no go to me. I will just buy at another local store

Two of the colors were from Sherwin Williams and the other two were from Benjamin Moore. I picked up samples from both of those companies and while I was at it I stopped by Dunn Edwards, per my painter's recommendation, to see if they could color match the Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore colors. When I arrived at the store, I instantly noticed how clean and well organized everything was. Prime parking was super easy to get too because the store is in a great spot of the plaza where there is hardly any traffic. The first employee to greet me was Dylan. He was super friendly and patient (also genuinely kind to my two toddler sons) and he was able to successfully match all of the colors I requested and so I ended up doing the entire interior of the house using Dunn Edwards paint, not even bothering with Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore. I came out a lot cheaper and the paint looked just as good when matched up side by side on my "sample wall". I feel it's also important to mention that I read a previous review about an employee being very rude and I'm sure that was not Dylan or the other guy whose name I unfortunately didn't get (he was a very tall, young guy braids) as he was great too. He took a lot of extra time to show us different swatches and explain the different types of paint. Obviously shopping for paint isn't going to be a super fun experience. I mean there's even that sarcastic saying that goes something like, "This is about as fun as watching paint dry..." But, all shopping experiences should be pleasant and you should feel that the employees care about your satisfaction. Therefore, I would highly recommend anybody who is looking to purchase paint to stop by this store. If possible, ask for Dylan because he provided me with a great experience and I'm sure he will do the same for you.

Once we got to the item, he said that the items were fake, but we didn't even see the price for the items so we didn't assume. The conversation was blunt and quite frankly disgusting... haven't been back to this antique mall in a while, it's a shame that the customer service is like this now. We originally wanted them to add a table top to our barrel that we already had and ended up having them make the entire table and saddle bar stools. We love it!! We also picked up a half bar with doors for all our alcohol bottles and it is such a cool piece. We just placed an order for a lighting fixture so looking forward to getting it!
