This thrift is just a wonderful hidden gem in Fallbrook , the staff is just amazing and I loved always being greeted like a wonderful longtime friend ! I've gotten some great hugs there too . I'm always finding just the right things there and go often when I'm in town . Check out the goodies in the case as you enter the store and there is often a shelf with free food for those in need . Please also consider donating there as the work they do with special adults is just so sweet and inspiring . read more

The selection is always decent here but the customer service is awful. The guy with long black hair is usually rude and there is a girl with long black hair (possibly Hispanic) who's just as bad as the guy. They are usually sorting the things received and any questions you ask will feel like you're asking the world of them. Basic questions like: can I drop these boxes of for donation? How much is this, it's not priced? Today was and will be the last day I ever step foot through those doors and this includes donations. Which is sad because I love the thought behind their charity and the selection is decent at times. read more

As others have mentioned, the challenged cashier guy with the squeaky voice is very rude. I've gone there 3 times since he's worked there and every time I leave empty handed because he is very rude and prices items way too high. He wanted $3 for a used karate belt! I expected 50¢ at the most, they're $5 in amazon. Every time he quotes me outrageous prices and has the same smug look on his face like he's trying to prove a point. Hidden Treasures is the best thrift store (non-profit) in Fallbrook. The people working there are always friendly and welcoming. The prices a very fair. Love the occasional store wide 50% sale. This is our go to destination to drop off and purchase collectibles. A++++ read more

This thrift store is amazing, the staff/volunteers are so genuine and kind. They really helped me find what felt right for my new apartment after an abrupt/dramatic move. Special shout out to the manager Toni, and Edwin/Jeremey for helping me load up my car. The beautiful items I found are unique and quality decor for the vibe I want in my new space. The inventory consists of antiques, home decor, glassware, electronics, miscellaneous, etc.. all fair prices and the value of the items is apparent. Very impressed, will be going back! read more

this is one of the best places to thrift! they have a well organized, clean, well priced items, with a great selection. the staff is knowledgeable, eager to help and very warm and welcoming. Interestingly enough, most of the staff are paid clients of Care-Rite. The store gives them experience in meeting the public, honing social skills ( some area very quiet and shy)and managing money. This review is based off purchasing and management. I love the store for what it has to offer, they are always stocked with amazing stuff and the staff and volunteers have always been super helpful! Like I said I love the store but I've had a couple interactions that left a bad taste in my mouth. Today I was looking in the greeting card section where single individual cards are labeled as 2 for a $1 or .50 cents each. So then I started looking at the boxes of cards that come in a set with multiple cards in one box. One that I came across was very fancy and leather bound and contained 40 different greeting cards. It was priced at $5 which would make each card $.12. What a deal! I came across another box set of thank you cards that was priced at $2 for 10 cards which would make them $.20 apiece. I finally came across the perfect box of cards for me, desert themed and I'm from Arizona so it was perfect! This was a box of cards that had only 8 cards in it and no envelopes. I saw that the box was NOT marked but I thought it can't be more than $2 like the other box just like it of 10 cards. So I take it up to the front and the manager comes over and tells me oh that is $4 which would make each card .50 cents which is what they are for individually and not in a box! And I thought this does not make sense! Why wouldn't you just charge me $2 like the exact other box just like it! And her response was, "Well, it's not marked." What?? OK, then go ahead and mark it $2 just like the other one with the exact same contents. I don't understand why you're charging me $.30 more per card. I could have stayed and argued my point and I know it's just a $.30 difference but it's the whole reason I come to a thrift store and when they are exact other items marked the same it doesn't make sense to charge me double. Just because it's not marked? To me that seems like an error on the store's part not mine. I have had a couple of instances like that with the manager, doesn't ever really seem to want to work with the customer it just is what it is even if it doesn't make logical sense. Like I said I do love the store I love shopping there I've just had a couple instances that have put a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to pricing and working with a customer. yes you can get your friends and family to give you 5 star ratings but Hidden Treasure still sucks big time . amateur staff and owner arrogant and rude. the challenged boy working the cash register rude with low IQ that's a bad combination. our family is not returning to this store and we go to the biggest Church in Fallbrook so many locals are talking not good news for the store read more

This thrift shop is great! I love the people that work there, they are super polite and helpful, almost like a family feel to it and make you feel welcomed. From clothing to office supplies, they have it all. I enjoy coming here to check out what hidden treasure I'll discover. Amazing prices and amazing people! This is one of my favorite shops when it comes to nonprofit shops. The only thing I would recommend is definitely not allowing customers to hold items, I was trying to buy the hello kitty boom box, and I was all ready to pay but unfortunately somebody had it on hold and I waited about an hour and a half to see if they would buy it because "they weren't sure" Thankfully the girl working was super nice and apologetic about that situation, I definitely feel like certain thrift stores should definitely be first come first serve especially with popular items like that. But other than that fantastic amazing thrift store I recommend this 100%. read more

I rarely review thrift stores because most of them are the same (aka overpriced and underwhelming) but this place really stood out as a quality re-sale store that also really goes out of their way to serve the community and keep prices reasonable. It really felt like how thrifting used to be 10 years ago, where everything is under $5 (with exception of furniture, coats etc) and you can feel like you got a good deal, while still paying the business. We got a onesie for our new baby, a shirt for my husband, and a camera strap for $8. A thrift store in Oceanside had 1 t-shirt for that price! Ridiculous! We were very happy just perusing through the store, the employees were happy and singing, playing music. We will definitely be back when we are in the area! This place is awesome. I always find parking, and there are so many neat interesting things here. Its like going into a retro yard sale from an old person's house in the 90s. I have found some really cool underground music CDs here as well as beautiful metal decorations. There are some really neat things here if you are a collector of the weirdness. Kids love it here. I always buy the quality bags they have out front and they have a nice variety of kids things, big kid toys most shops don't sell like scooters and carts and strollers. read more

Working here makes me slightly biased :) but I feel like I need to write a review from someone who sees the day to day at the store. Hidden Treasures serves the developmentally disabled by giving it's proceeds to support programs, housing, and care for people with disabilities but it also employs them, which I think is incredibly awesome, giving them meaningful work and a place to feel included. If you're going thrifting come on in, see our guys at work and help a good cause. We've got furniture galore, clothes, electronics, toys, sports gear, hardware, household goodie. I walked inside hoping to see a decent amount of antiques to look at. They have very little, and most of the store is full of clothes for older women and men. I wouldn't recommend this store for younger thrift-store go-ers. If you're looking for clothes, that's the place to go. read more

I really like this thrift shop, the employees (Braedon, (Saint) Mary and Bryan are very nice and helpful. I may not always find something I love, but when I do, the deal is always a great one. Just yesterday I found these amazing wooden dog crates - they look like furniture, very nice, super cheap ($35). Plus, Mary has a list of people that she will call if they are looking for something specific, and they will tell you when they have new shipments coming in. They have lots of furniture and kitchen wear as well. Plus, they support the community and support developmentally disabled support programs. Love this place. Generally a must stop for me. read more

This place is awesome. This is the best thrift store I have been to. They have mostly clothes. They do have household items. The clothing is so cheap! They have it organized by short sleeve, long sleeve, shorts etc. I recommend to people who are patient and like to save money. read more
