They are usually sorting the things received and any questions you ask will feel like you're asking the world of them. Basic questions like: can I drop these boxes of for donation? How much is this, it's not priced? Today was and will be the last day I ever step foot through those doors and this includes donations. Which is sad because I love the thought behind their charity and the selection is decent at times.

My kids love this place too. They are teens and go on their own to find fun new outfits without breaking the bank. I concur there is some overpriced furniture and decorations, but they also frequently have 50-75% off sales which can make those things a better value. Staff is always helpful and friendly too. Bottom line - Good values on a bunch of stuff and room for improvement on others. But a great addition to our community.

For that reason, I have recommended donating to St. Vincent's for years and continue to do so. Unfortunately, after I made a large donation, the manager went off on me for several minutes for asking a question that most people would have asked in the situation. She carried on loudly until I wordlessly retreated and disengaged completely. I wasn't given a receipt, and I now feel I have to take the batches I'm organizing for fall donations to another location out of town or another charity in Fallbrook. Everyone else I've encountered when shopping at St. Vincents' or making donations there has been very professional and kind. I have to assume that good experiences are the norm. I'd recommend dealing with the front-line staff as I've never had problems with any of them.

Women's clothes, men's clothes, children's clothes, shoes, handbags, accessories and the like. There is also a small home goods section, with lots of knickknacks and frames and things like that. It is small, but they managed to fill in every nook and cranny with something. My hunt at thrift stores right now are any camping gear. So after dropping off my donation I walked around in search of camping items. While on my search I found CD's , yes I still use CD's. The cost of CD's here, $1. Be sure to look inside the case. I found two handfuls that were unscratched, sold! If you are in need for vases, an abundance could be found here at great prices too. I found some cooking utensils and pots that would be great for my camping trips. Come visit and check out what they have in store, or drop of any your donations.
