Killer local vibe!…read more Highly recommend the veggie pizza. If you want some serious bonus points, add their roasted chicken to the veggie pizza! It's absolutely incredible! Also, on Sunday nights, they do have priced pizzas, which is really awesome. They have a wide variety of at least a dozen different types of hotdog, and they are all very tasty. Not to mention, the staff is just killer cool!

But the main reason you go to a restaurant on the river is shrimp, right? Who doesn't love shrimp right out of the river? I don't know if that's even a thing, but I was in the mood for shrimp and I thought I'd turn pink like a flamingo from the amount of shrimp I started with the Shrimp Cocktail which was a generous portion of shrimp expertly placed on the rim of a cocktail glass. The Shrimp Happens was a hodgepodge of fried and grilled shrimp and it was also amazing, although a bit too much fried for me. The atmosphere was a bit on the dirty hole in the wall side. And like most people, I love a good hole-in-the-wall, but the food has to back it up. The food was good, but not outstanding to call it a hole in the wall. I also love the Fire Exit!

The atmosphere reminded me of a NYC bustling bistro where the "cool kids" hang out. Our waiter was knowledgable of the menu when describing a few entrees I had a questions about. My salad did arrive with way too much dressing for my taste, and it was quickly exchanged for a new salad with the dressing on the side. Everything was delicious. A nice place for a date, group dinner or just a time for a nice meal out. I do have to say that the noise level got pretty high on the Friday evening we were there, it was a full house.

This food is excellent and honestly one of a kind for what it is. Prices are dirt cheap, but the quality is way better than you'd expect. If you go, get the classic sweet heat dog, the meat lovers pizza with ranch, and a Pepsi Zero. That combo doesn't miss. It's the perfect place for lunch, a midnight snack, or just hanging with friends. Seating is limited, but you can usually find a spot. Overall: 5/5 this place has my heart.

Pizza was large enough that we each had a slice for leftovers. Atmosphere was more of a bar vibe but at 1 PM is was quiet and quant. Overall good experience. Courtney made it even better!

we were in town for graduation and went here in a friday night. we had a party of 6 and were seated…read morequickly. the host was friendly and our server was helpful and professional. she didn't really check in on us that often so there were times where we had empty glasses. we ordered the muscle shoals pizza, cheesy bread, wings, and bread with pesto dip. the cheesy bread was probably the best part of the entire meal. the dough was all you want in a good pizza base and a delicious cheesy and garlic top. the pizza itself was good but not great (16inch). i think they just stretched out the dough and it became like a thin pizza and the dough texture was more crispy which is good, but i also want that thick doughy crust. the toppings were good but there were some inconsistency with the melting of the cheese. some were more caramelized than other parts. the wings were pretty good but it was just grilled wings drenched in sauce. nothing really special but still tasty. i wish they just had a crunch. the biggest let down of the meal was the pesto dip appetizer. it was just what seemed like bread and pesto from the store and they put that on a plate. it just wasn't good and we didn't really touch it after a few bites. overall, our meal was just okay. i didn't enjoy it as much as the others at the table but id come again to try other items on their menu.
