Absolutely delicious, fresh food! Almost the entire menu is gluten free - including the fish and chips. The menu is large, and there is certainly something to please everyone. The ambiance is casual, and comfortable. It's decorated with beautiful works from local artists, and has a nautical theme. It has a gorgeous view of the water, and is located in one of the most special places in the world - Lund

Avoid this place. You have a good chance for a case of food poisoning here. They have had cases already this year.

The Boardwalk Restaurant sits on the elevated wooden board walk that curves around the harbour across from the historic Lund Hotel. The menu is simple and is posted on a board but don't let the deceive you the food is local fresh and cooked exquisitely. We ordered the mussel special and the crispy spiced fish and chips. The mussels were amazing perhaps the best I have experienced, I made the mistake of sampling my companions fish, and that resulted in a return visit the next evening. The place is small but cozy with lots of outdoor space for dining where you can watch the harbour's water taxis shuttling back and forth from Savory Island and no doubt all the way up the coast and into Desolation Sound. Time seems to slow down over dinner accompanied by a local pint of Time Warp craft beer.

The curry. A bit to wet for my taste.

Great service, beautiful views of the marina and excellent fish & chips and fish tacos! We go there every time we go to Lund.

I ordered the Coquilles Saint-Jacques, a classic French scallop dish traditionally made with a rich cream and cheese sauce. There was no cream or cheese to be found--just overcooked, non-local scallops. That dish was a solid D. The lobster bisque, however, was an A+ and easily the highlight of the meal. The saffron prawn dish was okay at best. The prawns were decent, but many of the vegetables were undercooked. To their credit, the staff tried to make things right by offering fresh local scallops at the end of the meal. I appreciated the gesture, but those should have been the scallops served with the original Coquilles Saint-Jacques. Overall, the people and the view were outstanding, but the kitchen didn't live up to the setting.

Apparently the owner lost the reservation, despite the fact he responded personally to my email. We were still seated, but not with the view I have become accustomed to. We arrived 10 minutes early and ordered appetizers and the same entree at once, as was advised by our waitress to speed the process. Our oyster appetizer arrived quickly, but we waited almost 1.5 hours for the main course, after being told our food would be right up, several times. The food is still top notch, but the service has slipped, especially for a birthday, which was never verbally acknowledged, despite four mentions by my wife. Such a shame, as we are only able to come to this restaurant every two years.
