Blue bird breakfast, crispy hash browns and thick bacon..!!

We have had such great experiences with breakfast here so we decided to try the lunch menu, and it has some seriously delicious food!! We love this place

Very first time at this place. This place is a good little dine tucked away out in the open. They have good old homeschool made food. I got the Cowboy burrito which is more than enough. It was very delicious. The service was good. They were always there in Michael. She needs stuff, mac & cheese, and condiment anything like drinks refilled. I suggest if you definitely give this place to try.

Went on a Sunday morning for breakfast with friends. I found my party that was already seated and was waiting for the waitress to come over so I could inquire about their dog friendly patio. My dog was in a dog bag and well behaved. When the waitress came over she stated that another customer complained about my dog and she asked for a service vest. I stated that my dog doesn't have one but I saw on their website they have a dog friendly patio even with water bowls. She tells me that the patio is closed. It didn't say that the patio was closed on specific days. Plus why would it be on a Sunday, when people are off work and want to bring their dog to a friendly patio for breakfast. I left and my friends stayed. I wouldn't give them any of my monies and will not be back. Update your website to state service dogs only and patio only opened on specific days. I wish I could post a screen shot of their dog policy but it doesn't give me the option here.

I was drawn to this place while driving through town for its vegetarian options. The service was great and price pretty good. The atmosphere was lovely and homey - it has a real locals feel. My main issue with the crepe ole is that it was just a huge block of avocado (with a slice of cheese) wrapped in a crepe. The texture was not appealing.

Chef salad

Their food was spectacular! This salad was so delish. The specials looked so tasty too! Service was fast as well.

We ordered out from this locally owned restaurant (delivery by Windy City Delivery) for an impromptu working lunch. Wow! Everything was delicious and the potions were huge. Packaged to perfection it arrived in beautiful shape. Loved it!! The pictures tell it all...

Totally remodeled interior. Called "Bluebird at Cheese Barrel" now. Food and atmosphere is totally updated. Love it! Great place to have breakfast (or lunch) at an upscaled mom and pop. Well worth stopping in.

New owners. Jackie is the best. So friendly. I had the veggie Omelet and wheat bread. Very good. Maybe too much cheese so ask for that. The staff is so cool here.

But clearly, without being anchored in the Hilton, this place would probably be out of business. I really liked the waitress/bartender, but it was clear how exacerbated she was with conditions. I looked at the menu first online and when I arrived, she apologized and said those were out of date. Fine. One diner and one at the bar, I sat at a table. The chair I sat in was really wobbly, so I switched to another as I didn't feel safe given my 6'3" frame. Not much better. So I moved over to the table with a bench. The bench didn't have any functional cushioning, but at least it was stable. When she delivered my beverage, I explained why I moved and she apologized as she knew and that they have been waiting for "their remodel." Later, I heard the waitress apologize to a couple because they didn't have any salt, but they did have pepper! They were taking the food back to their room, so she offered some ideas of where they could find salt. The chicken Cobb salad on Google had a real fried chicken breast, but what they are actually serving is a sliced giant chicken nugget product. They rest was great (salad not wilted or slimy, good toppings) and I liked the blue cheese dressing. So, 3 stars on the overall experience.

Flavor was fine, could use some seasoning. Ordered steak Caesar to start but they didn't have the steak part "ever" according to the server. Server was very friendly and attentive. Music was a tad loud as we were close to jukebox, but they did respect our request to lower it so we could enjoy the good company. We all ordered the craft cocktails that we all enjoyed...again and again! Appetizers were fun and pleasing. Everything from brussel sprouts to tuna tartar. Loved them all! Party ordered everything from the salmon to the tequila lime shrimp, to the signature ribeye...fantastic! Service was great! Kat took great care of us and was very charming. Bartender knew how to make a mean cocktail. She made me appreciate gin, which I didn't think could happen! The owners looked after us and made us feel like family. We will be back!

At first impression, the menu offered a wide variety of selections that I was pretty excited about. Unfortunately, the salad that I wanted was unavailable that evening. My server had to come back to the table and tell me that they had run out of the necessary ingredients. That's always frustrating. I wasn't super hungry, so I opted for an appetizer for my meal. The Cran-Jack meatballs were tasty and the accompanying toast offered a nice contrast. While I am normally a lover of onion rings, the ones on my plate left something to be desired. They tasted bitter and I only ate one. The service was incredibly slow. I sat in my seat for well over 10 minutes playing on my phone waiting for the waitress to come check on me so I could close out my tab. I finally resorted to flagging down a food runner from the kitchen. I'd like to go back and have an actual meal, perhaps with my husband or a good friend, despite a less than stellar first impression.

Disappointed in the Thanksgiving Take & Bake that I purchased. Let's start at the beginning. I…read morepurchased Tier 2 which was food for up to 20 people. It included 2 orders of rolls, 5 sides, 2 kinds of meat, and 2 desserts. I was assigned a pick up time of 7pm-8pm, they got my order together and shuffled us out the door. When I got home and was unloading my car, I realized they had forgotten one of the rolls. I called them at 7:23pm and asked if I could come back and get them, and they said "well we are only here for 15 minutes so you need to hurry"..... (when we got there, they had tables full of food waiting to get picked up still so not sure why the rude comment about hurrying was necessary. I understand wanting to go home but YOU chose to do a 7-8pm pickup time and YOU forgot part of my order) I didn't receive any printed instructions on reheating/baking but realized later on that other customers had printed instructions so not sure why we didn't get any for our order. I spent $350 and was very disappointed in the meal. The rolls were hard, the sides lacked flavor, the dessert was just okay. Maybe I had my expectations too high after seeing all of the pictures they had posted of the food. What REALLY gets me is the lack of customer service.. the response from the owner on reviews and via email. That alone made me never want to support this business again, and then add in the wasted $350 meal and now I really won't be back. This used to be my favorite place to take my kiddos for Saturday morning donuts but after seeing the owners responses to customers and how I was spoken to on the phone about the forgotten rolls- I'll find a different local business to support.

As a family, we always try to get the specials because we love trying new foods, and they never miss. After moving back to Casper from a larger city, I really appreciate the variety of cuisines they offer here. The take home meals are such a win too. They are healthy, delicious, and perfect for busy nights when fast food or a frozen meal feels like the only option. There is always something new, something different, and it is always delicious. If you have not stopped by since they shifted to a more food focused cafe, I cannot encourage you enough to give them a try. I promise you will want to come back. Also, all the sweet treats here are great as a sweet tooth connoisseur. Their legit take on the viral chocolate in a tart is a 10 out of 10. And the coffee bar is really good. My husband gives the coffee a gold star, which is not given lightly. I am really picky about matcha, iykyk, and they actually use real matcha. Easily the best matcha latte in town. They also have honestly great prices for coffee drinks. Lastly, again, support local and totally put Grant St. on your map as a regular stop for meals and caffeine pick me ups.
