Eel Roll
Katrina D.

Yummy sushi spot! Wasn't feeling too hungry so just had a small eel roll and shared some apps. The eel roll was alright, I've had better but it's very simple. The karaage had a nice breading and I really liked the kimchi mayo that came with it. Pretty unique as most places just have sriracha mayo. The ahi tuna tacos were also very good flavor wise, but wasn't expecting them to be so tiny when they brought it out.

My server, Tristan, was always attentive to detail and made great recommendations for me to try! The food was amazing and the atmosphere of the restaurant is so nice and such a mood. 10/10!

Wow what a gem of a place with incredible sushi! Service from Jackson was great and the rolls were outstanding! Definitely get the Miami Vice and the Rainforest rolls!

The food was amazing. A great choice to go when in Dallas. The service was impeccable. So friendly and accommodating. I love it. The manager is also super friendly, doing rounds to make sure we're doing okay. Getting to know us and making us feel like home. The ambiance is great. Perfect for date night or just to hangout and watch sports. def will be back when I'm in Dallas.

Stuffed Jalapeno

Omg YUM! Had the jalapeño appetizer for starters and it was such a hit! Think California roll with eel sauce and a slight kick from the jalepeno. It tasted so fresh and so amazing! I had the Shark Bait roll. Honestly best (cooked) sushi I've had in a long time. My friend got spicy tuna and although I didn't try it, she loved it and raved about it. Got there at around 1:30 and they close at 2 before opening for dinner- which we didn't know before hand but the staff was great about it and service was 10/10. We were the only two in there and rushed to be sure the staff could close on time but the vibes were cute and the location is STUNNING. Next time we will def sit on the patio. Love the Blue Fish in uptown but this location is def my new fave!

California Roll

As much as I come to Watters Creek, this was my first time trying Blue Fish. This seemed like a family friendly restaurant. I saw online they had a happy hour on some food so after my son was done playing at the playground, we came to eat here. We sat on the patio and the girl said happy hour is only at the bar but clearly I had my child so we couldn't sit there. I asked if they would honor food happy hour and they wouldn't or else they would have to for everyone. Why not just make happy hour on patio also for people who can't sit at bar? Not very considerate. I've been to others that were happy to honor it. For food, I tried the california roll and that was decent. I also tried the Philadelphia roll and it was ok.

Rainforest roll was good. Spicy tuna roll was okey. Miso Salmon with mushroom rice was really impressed.

It's been a while since I reviewed Nosoo b/c we don't live that close by anymore. I used to…read moreliterally work in the same parking lot, but not anymore so we haven't been by. HOWEVER, that recently changed thanks to a new appointment we've recently had change our family schedule, where we end up nearby on certain days, and we've decided to make it a habit to come back by here since it used to be our literal favorite Hibachi spot. Turns out - it still is! It definitely still doesn't get nearly as much attention as it should, but as other Hibachi restaurants have started switching to cheaper menu options like the dreaded switch from the amazing MUSTARD dipping sauce I LOVE, to the horrible white goo that some goober called "Yum Yum" sauce (should be called "Yuck Yuck" in my opinion), Nosoo kept the mustard sauce! They also still have the delicious subtle ultra-thinly-sliced mushroom or "Suimono" soup and didn't switch to cheap overly salty tofu-riddled yellow broth like - again - most other competing local Hibachi restaurants seem to have done. In closing, I'm glad Nosoo is still there, still yummy, and still providing the best overall Hibachi menu out there all these years later. TL;DR - THEY STILL USE THE SUPERIOR MUSTARD DIPPING SAUCE AND NOT THE "YUM YUM" GARBAGE!

This is hands down my favorite Japanese restaurant. The food is consistently fresh, beautifully…read moreprepared, and genuinely delicious every single time. The hibachi is flavorful and cooked perfectly, and the sushi is always high quality, clean-tasting, and expertly crafted. You can tell they take pride in their ingredients and presentation. The staff is incredible. Super friendly, attentive, and genuinely accommodating. They go above and beyond to make sure guests are taken care of. If you show up with patience and basic decency during peak times, you'll be treated exceptionally well. As for the 1-star reviews posted over Valentine's Day weekend, those lack credibility. Anyone with common sense knows that Valentine's Day is one of the busiest weekends of the year for hibachi restaurants /anywhere/. Judging a restaurant solely on an extreme holiday rush ignores what they consistently deliver the rest of the year. If you want fresh sushi, great hibachi, and a welcoming atmosphere, this place absolutely delivers. Highly recommend through and through.
