ORDER Crunch Dynamite Sushi Go Roll Alaskan Hot Mama The rolls here are so great! The ingredients are super fresh and tasty. There is no fishiness with the raw fish and the sauce is super good! Though they drizzle a bit more sauce than other restaurants, the amount complements the roll well. The rice is mixed with beet juice which gives it a pink color. Not sure if I taste much a difference but definitely tastes good! Definitely would recommend! VIBES Pretty casual place to dine and eat great sushi! This is a good option if you're looking for a quick, cheaper bite nearby. The pink rice really surprised me, apparently they use beet juice to color it but it doesn't impact the flavor of the rice as far as I could taste. The spicy tuna roll was my favorite, I feel like the other rolls all tasted pretty similar to each other. read more

SWEETEST PEOPLE that work there, but I'm sorry, as long as that place has been there, it has not been cleaned once. I wanted to take pictures, but i was on date night, and trying not to focus on it, but we ordered our rolls, paid. I went to the bathroom, and the bathroom was so vile, I came back out and asked my husband if we could please just leave. I'm not taking about a little bit of dirt or dust, it was mud, and inches of filth, which made me feel like behind the counter was super unsanitary. The smell was rotten. All sushi places have a smell, but it smelt vile, before i even walked in, and I told my husband, I think this is a bad idea. It is so filthy, it needs to be power washed, and like a deep industrial cleaning, the entire store. We got the rolls, they tasted like Kroger sushi. Not bad, but not great, the sauce the put on it, I'm not sure what was in it, but I had a severe allergic reaction. About 15 min after consuming, my stomach immediately, drastically became so bloated I looked 7 months pregnant. I'm 98 lbs, and i legit looked 7 months pregnant. However, i do have lupus and it could of been a reaction to something I shouldn't of ate, that I did. Again, the people are so sweet, I feel so bad, but that is the most filthy disgusting place i think I've ever eaten in my life. They really need to clean it, I'm assuming all the good reviews, did not get to see the conditions of the inside Please clean this place for sanitary reasons it's very important a restaurant is clean. read more

A coworker order from here not long ago and so we decided to go get some food there on a saturday afternoon. It's a very sterile ikea bland like interior. There was one guy working and we ordered 3 types of sushi and a bugolgi bowl and he said it would be 15-20 minutes so we sat down and talked while we waited for food. The atmosphere is like being in a classroom while you're taking a test. There was zero sound. I actually turned on my pandora on low because it was so uncomfortably silent as we were the only people there. One delivery guy did come in to pick up food but that was it. I would not choose to eat here again. We would call ahead and pick up. Too awkward for us. I have never had sushi on styrofoam plates but it all tastes the same so we didn't mind. It's small inside...maybe 7 or 8 tables. They played radio music inside, Star 102,1. Dining room was clean. The cashier was patient as we looked over the menu (which you ordered st the counter from item from the wall...fast food style). The had so many rolls, bowls and appetizers. No alcohol, no sake, no problem after tasting the rolls. Had the crunch roll and lion king roll. Omg, these were the best rolls I've had. They dyed the rice pink, I'm guessing for valentines day, which made them visually interesting. Also got the beef steak onigiri. 2 PC for $6. This one weirded me out with the pink rice. This place is near my house and for 7.95 a specialty roll I decided to check it out We ordered the hot mama, the superman, the crab lover, the dragon and the Ida. All were good. The fish tasted good and the rolls were really pretty. My only thing that annoyed me was they were not completely cut. It was hard to eat because they were so stuck together we couldn't separate them. It seems like a small thing but it was super annoying when you're hungry. read more

I'm surprised at how good this place actually is even though the prices are so cheap. Most rolls are between $4-$9, which is actually really cheap for sushi. The quality was good and fresh, and they gave quite a good amount of food as well. The cashier was also really nice and helpful and gave us a lot of good recommendations! I'm usually not one to go for sushi since I'm vegetarian, but this place had multiple vegetarian options. I went with an avocado roll and one of their new vegetarian rolls. Two rolls was plenty for me and I was pretty full after that. The rolls were good too- a decent amount of ingredients and the ingredients were fresh as well. Now with the Monster roll, I thought this roll stated "Deep Fried Crispy" like it would be a warm roll and fried...to my ignorance I didn't ask and ordered it. It was cold, I was a bit disappointed, but it wasn't bad at all. Since my mind had the taste of a warm roll, I literally heated up a skillet with Olive Oil and lightly heated the roll and it was amazinggggg! (I added soy sauce & pepper as well) Overall: I know this is weird, but I don't like their name and the decor. False advertising! Sushi Go has a promotional offer in which they give you one stamp for every $10 you spend. After acquiring enough stamps, you recieve a free roll. I had acquired all the stamps needed for the free roll and upon presenting the card was told: "we stopped taking these cards anymore, as of yesterday...sorry". The fine print on the card even states: "This coupon is never expired". That's not the way you run a business. Reneging has cost this business a repeat customer who they've lost, for life. Ok, so this isn't a 5 star, cloth napkin, top service kind of sushi restaurant... This is, however, the best $8 sushi I think I've ever had. And the staff is really friendly too! The sushi is made right in front of you and they have always offered to make any changes I might want to make it even better. I love how they package and label everything (with care.) It's helpful as we try new things to remember the rolls that we love! I highly recommend the cry baby, King Kong and Monster!
