It was around noon on Saturday and they were a bit busy. There seemed to be a lot of people working behind the counters as well as the kitchen however we weren't greeted by even one person let alone given a smile. Service was slow, indifferent, and there seemed to be a lot of confusion going on in the back. It looked like they had a lot of party trays to prepare. There is a display cabinet to the left when you walk in and I saw a big tray of lumpia. When it was my turn to order, I asked if I could order a few but the lady told me it was for a take out order. I also wanted to try their banana turon as I saw many and they all looked delicious but unfortunately, the lady again told me I was unable to buy those either because they were for take out orders. If that was the case, she could've suggested that I wait while they cooked some more which would've been more appropriate. They could also at least cover the food or leave a note so it doesn't confuse customers. I suppose your best bet is to order beforehand if you want anything like that. The hot food station was already running low but I was able to order some things. When the lady packed the palabok, she only scooped noodles and didn't bother to put on any toppings such as an egg slice as she did for previous customers. Not a huge deal but slightly off putting since she already told me I was unable to purchase previous items. The prices are very high for the quality of food you receive. The pork ear dish tasted like they accidentally dumped a bag of sugar in it. It definitely wasn't worth $8.99. The dinuguan was average, and in my opinion, could've used more vinegar. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

Not the case, I asked for a side of adobo sauce, the sassy older lady, said she gave me more, only to see she put very little on my rice. Not the side like I asked. Making the rice soggy by time I got home. Pork adobo was ok, some pieces were tough and other how they should be, soft and flavorful. More sauces is a must. I love the dish called Pinakbet, but I'm starting to dislike it from here because it tastes sweet like they are adding sugar to it. I imagine it's because they may be trying to reduce the bitterness from the bitter melon, not sure. This is normally a healthy dish for diabetics. Please STOP adding sugar to it. read more

Came here for lunch and got my chocolate meat for lunch for got to take a picture don't know if I want to it's not a pleasant dish to take a photo of but if you know what it is then you know. This is a fast food pick up and go type of restaurant and they have selected special items on the weekends but far as the chocolate meat it was ok not the best or worst but definitely had worst and had better hahah tongue twister. Great filipino food and variety, that not many restaurants offer. My favorite is the bicol express and ginataang kalabasa and sitaw. My parents love the goat kilawin and papaitan, which are hard to find at most filipino restaurants. They cater too. We'll be ordering here a lot more in the future :) Although it is small inside, they follow covid precautions, have marks for social distancing, and offer hand sanitizer. They all wear masks. I recommend to call ahead to order because sometimes they sell out of certain items. read more

Pinakbet was my go to vegetable dish but my recent visit, pinakbet was a mushed of vegetables which is off putting to look at. If you know and like legit Filipino/Ilocano food, then go for it. No frills, not for presentation--just point, pick, and pay. Take it home. You might get a table, but it's not really conducive to dining in. People are standing waiting in line--it's not a full service restaurant. We bought Large Goat Kilawen and it was so Delicious!! I brought it back to San Francisco so my kids can try it and they were all in awww!! They said I should have bought more ! I also bought Palabok and they loved it so much ! They said it taste very good ! Considering they have all the Good Filipino restaurants in Daly City and SF close to them. They were very happy! I will go back there again this Friday to buy more Goat dishes and Palabok. You must Call ahead to Reserve yourself your Orders. Otherwise they run out. read more

It was my first time here and the food was delicious. I had the 2 entree rice plate. I chose menudo and pork adobo. Both the dishes were extremely greasy, however, the flavors were on point. The vinegar in the pork adobo was really balanced and the menudo tasted a little tangy. I enjoyed the meal so much that I'm contemplating driving all the way out there again to have it. read more

I was really happy to see a Filipino restaurant open up in Lathrop. Came in this morning and ordered longsilog, tocilog, and fried pampano. The prices were very cheap, starting at around 4.99+. Don't let these prices fool you; these meals are FILLING. They hit the spot! A meal comes with two scoops of garlic rice, a fried egg, pineapple chunks, and then whichever meat you picked. The tocilog was probably my favorite! The tocino was just the right sweetness. Also, did I mention their vinegar? It looks home made, but perhaps I could be wrong. Nonetheless it was a tasty spicy vinegar with small bits of onion. I definitely will come back again another time for lunch. Staff is friendly and the cooking just felt like home. Since this restaurant opened in Lathrop we've liked their food. We regularly buy food here. Not every dish is to my family's liking, but most of what we tried were pretty good. The --silogs for breakfast gets sold fast. Be there early or you'll get none. I, especially like the tosilog. Those are the best sellers in the morning. Their turon is very good, though it would be better if the banana portion is bigger. The staff are mostly friendly. It has a very small area for dine in. Conducive for to go food. read more

So glad to have finally tried their dishes. First off, I don't care too much about lechon but their lechon is very flavorful and juicy. Their calamari adobo (pusit) was flavorful, their milkfish (bangus) was moist and fried perfectly, chocolate meat (dinuguan) was really good (wish I had a hot pepper with it tho), beef&onions (bistek) was good, pancit was good, I liked that it had lots of veggies, bbq stick was really good and the meat was tender. However, the stars for me were the turon (banana lumpia) and the mini egg custards. I almost passed on the custards but I'm glad I didn't thanks to Ate (the lady at the register, maybe the owner?) Some dishes are okay but some aren't especially the seafood like the adobo pusit where the plastic film is still inside. It makes you wonder if it was cleaned. The grilled pampano still have the gills inside. It's just gross to eat. read more
