Severely dissatisfied and disappointed with the tux we rented for my son's prom. We always came here to rent tuxes and never had an issue until now. You can see in the pictures that they gave us the last tux available and just did a half ass job. The tie and the vest were worn out. One cuff link broke on the spot as we were trying to put them on, the back of the jacket was dirty with a white spot of god knows what, and the sleeve was wrinkled. This was an upsetting experience and I was embarrassed for The Black Tie. To rent out a tux in that condition. Shame on you guys!! My son ended up wearing a tie instead of the bow tie. Do better on quality control, Black Tie!! I should've gotten my money back because tux rentals are not cheap. Needless to say, I think next time we'll look elsewhere. Best customer service I have experienced in a very long time if not ever. I arrived at 5:20 PM for a 6 o'clock event after forgetting my tuxedo at the house. Within minutes, they had me perfectly sized, had the tux pressed and got me out the door. They were closed on Sunday when I needed to return it so the owner met me at a Starbucks on my way home. My son needed a tie for prom. I called ahead to ask general questions and the individual I spoke with was extremely helpful and offered to help in person. Later that day I showed up to a full lobby with lots of young men picking up and trying on their rentals. I was immediately asked if I had been helped and attended to. Not our first time renting here at this wonderful Ma and Pop tuxedo store! Luigi and Cesar were both amazing during our visit. Luigi helped my husband pick out the tuxedo suit with the matching vest and bow tie. Cesar was very quick and effective with the measurements for my husband's tuxedo. The price was perfect for renting! Depending on the suit you pick- the prices to rent can range from approximately $179-250, however, you get the vest, and tie or bow tie. It was a small wedding so it should have been easy 3 of the guys tux's were not good. One was 3 sizes to small one was way to short. To the owner of this place, you need to hire more efficient staff. Fix your A/C. We had a total of 11 suits, of those I had 4. I came in multiple times and could not figure out why we had chosen this place. Long wait times, employees standing around and not providing direction. I would suggest a sign at the entrance letting customers know to sign in. The first time I came in, I did not know I had to sign and waited 15 minutes until another customer told me to. We were "measured" and my son's shirt doubled his size, his pants were also too big. I had to request for spenders and another shirt. My dad's white shirt was missing buttons and was yellow. I went in to look at bridesmaid dresses and the salesgirl informed me they are closing down the bridal side of their store and becoming a tux rental only. You can no longer order bridal gowns or bridesmaid dresses from them. The good news: They are selling off their bridal inventory- bridal samples at 50% off, tiaras/accessories 50% off, and bridesmaid dresses $25 each. So if you can find a dress in your size and don't mind a sample, you might find a great deal. The saleswoman was very friendly and patient with me while I tried on half the store. We had a horrible experience with this shop! I would not recommend it to anyone. First the pick of the tuxes for our wedding was a task. The first person we talked to make sure they were ready to pick up could only find 2 of the 5 tuxes. We had to ask the groom to call them the day before his wedding to get things straight. When we went to pick up the tuxes they didn't have any of them together even though we told them we coming in. Second, none of the jackets fit any of the men. Not a single one. And we had to make an emergency run back to the store right before the wedding. The most comical was that one of the jacket's arms were the size of a T-Rex. read more

The place itself was not too big, but there was still a pretty nice selection. I was helped right away, and not rushed or pressured to pick a higher price suit or anything so that was good. Everything is also done in house, so if there are any last minute alterations that need to be done when you pick it up, they will be able to fix it on the spot. I won a free veil from here at a Bridal show so I thought I would give this shop a chance to see if I ould find the dress. That didn't happen. I brought my bridesmaids back too in attempt to find their dresses. Everything we liked was 200+ which is way too much in my opinion for them to have to pay, ontop of everything else. The customer service was lacking, BIG time. The girl that helped us came off as really shy and timid.
