What they offer isn't simply clothing; it's the essence of refinement for those who carry themselves with high etiquette, quiet confidence, and an appreciation for timeless style. From the moment you step inside for your one‑of‑a‑kind consulting session, the world outside seems to soften. The pace slows. You're greeted not as a customer, but as a welcomed guest -- someone whose presence matters. Even the coffee, crafted exclusively for their clients, feels like part of the ritual. It's warm, rich, and unlike anything you've had before or will have anywhere else. It sets the tone for an experience that is intimate, personal, and deeply considered. The boutique itself feels like a sanctuary of elegance. Every corner invites exploration. You're surrounded by mesmerizing choices -- fabrics that drape like poetry, textures that whisper luxury, buttons that look like small pieces of art, and accessories that stretch as far as your imagination. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is generic. Every detail is curated to help you shape something that feels personal, intentional, and unmistakably yours. Their hospitality surpasses even the finest specialty houses. It's not just service; it's a philosophy. A belief that elegance begins with how you are treated long before a garment is ever made. Christian, the chief designer, embodies that philosophy. He represents what a premium garment should be -- something felt, touched, lived in, and remembered. His eye for detail, his calm presence, and his intuitive understanding of what makes a piece truly exceptional elevate the entire experience. He doesn't just design clothing; he shapes identity. And then there's Jaylen, the assistant designer -- warm, articulate, and effortlessly hospitable. He brings a sense of ease to the process, guiding you with knowledge and genuine enthusiasm. His presence makes the experience feel grounded, welcoming, and complete. This isn't just a boutique. It's a return to what elegance used to mean -- and what it can still be for those who seek it.

I am very late to this review, but I just wasn't an active yelper back when I got married. My…read morewedding was November of 2019 and LBD took care of my dress, one of my bridesmaid's dresses, and a tuxedo for my daughter. The experience for my daughter and I was perfect. We are a bit unconventional: I didn't want a white dress and my daughter didn't want a dress at all, so we had some issues at other places. Particularly for my daughter, who seemed to scare the heck out of any guy working at a tux shop when he realized he'd have to measure her. Thank goodness we found LBD where they fitted her for a tux that she loved with no problems. I ended up with a bridesmaid dress since I didn't want white, but they recommended a seamstress who helped me embellish it into just what I wanted. The missing star is for my bridesmaid's experience. When she tried the sample on in the store, it fit like a dream, it was just the wrong color. It would seem when they put the order in, they ordered the wrong size completely (an 8 instead of a 6) and since it took 3 months to get there, we had to have it severely altered just to fit, which was sad for my friend because she had planned to alter it into something she would wear again and again, but all her alteration budget went to making it fit instead. She did reach out to the owner to try and get them to make it right in some way. Unfortunately, they took no responsibility for the mistake, and dismissively gave her $50 for alterations. Alterations which ended up costing $110 after it finally fit. So I guess it just depends. I had a great time with this business, my best friend not so much.

The old owner was so sweet and helpful and got everything figured out and marked down. And showed the new owner everything. This week one of the boys went to get measured and the new owner said my file must have gotten thrown away & there's no record of me coming in there. She wasn't apologetic at all and made it sound like it was my fault for not calling to confirm? Like that is why I came in person and filled out all that paperwork? To confirm? Not my fault it got lost. If you're looking to rent from here, it's not a reliable place like it used to be. So incredibly frustrated. 110% do not recommend

I needed to rent three tuxedos for a wedding--two men's sizes and one child's size. We only needed…read morethe jacket and pants for each person. After getting quotes from several places in town, both for renting and buying, Black Tie offered the best value, so we decided to go with them. On my first visit, a young lady helped me. She was courteous and professional, knowledgeable, and able to answer all of my questions. We came back a few weeks later to reserve the tuxedos and get everyone measured. Two young men helped us that day, and we were given a higher price than the original quote. When I mentioned the price the young lady had given me, they honored the original quote without any issue. I appreciated that. Because one of the men couldn't make it to the fitting with the rest of us, he went in separately at a later time. An older gentleman helped him and, not knowing that I had already paid the deposits, had him pay a deposit for his tuxedo. Later, when I was paying the remaining balance, the total initially came out differently from what I had calculated. I pointed this out, and after checking the numbers with a calculator, they agreed that my total was correct. I don't believe any of these discrepancies were intentional. Since we were helped by different people at different times, it seemed like there may have been some communication or record-keeping issues regarding the original quote and payments already made. I would just recommend keeping track of your quotes and payments, especially if different members of your party are coming in separately. The store is small but has a good variety of suits and tuxedos on display. There are fitting rooms and comfortable chairs, which made the process easy for everyone. The men and the boy tried on different items until they found what fit them best. The staff assisting us were helpful throughout the fitting process. Overall, the rental process from beginning to end was pretty smooth. Everyone we worked with was professional and helpful, and we were happy with the value and service we received.

You can see in the pictures that they gave us the last tux available and just did a half ass job. The tie and the vest were worn out. One cuff link broke on the spot as we were trying to put them on, the back of the jacket was dirty with a white spot of god knows what, and the sleeve was wrinkled. This was an upsetting experience and I was embarrassed for The Black Tie. To rent out a tux in that condition. Shame on you guys!! My son ended up wearing a tie instead of the bow tie. Do better on quality control, Black Tie!! I should've gotten my money back because tux rentals are not cheap. Needless to say, I think next time we'll look elsewhere. I spoke to a guy who works there and he apologized and I appreciate it but it doesn't do anything for all of those hiccups.
