    Two chairs and table

First, we would stay here again because it is clean and walkable to Stratton Mountain village. With that said you should know some things upfront. Our room was on the first floor. You went down into a basement for it. Our window was at eye level with the parking lot. It was a warm Labor Day weekend. There was no air conditioning. We had a circular fan on a stand. There are no comfy chairs, just a small table with two chairs. There is no mini fridge, microwave or coffee maker in the room. The lodge does not offer a pool or exercise facility. The breakfast had what you would expect for a continental breakfast, plus during our stay, scrambled eggs, potatoes and sausage. There is a 15-person hot tub and a game room with a pool table, air hockey table and Guitar Hero video game. They offer lawn games and some outside seating. There is no daily maid service, but we had plenty of towels and toiletries. There is also no shuttle to the village in the summer, but it is walkable, up hill to get there. The on-site restaurant was closed for the summer. Only breakfast was served there. The restaurants in the Village are expensive. You may want to plan accordingly.

DO NOT STAY HERE unless absolutely necessary. We stayed here because it is pet friendly but will just have to figure something else out for next time. Quiet hours end at 6am. We had a family above us running around and jumping off the bed. The ceiling is so thin we could hear their exact conversations as well. Cleaning staff was very loud in the morning outside our room. They were also very unfriendly when we walked passed them. People slamming doors at all hours. Radiator was the loudest one I've ever heard in my life. Only trash can in room was a tiny one in the bathroom. No coffee maker or mini fridge. Not even a pen and notepad. Sheets were terrible. Outdated and dusty. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because we were lucky enough to have a nice view from our window and the breakfast was ok. Plus it is really great location on the mountain close to lifts and the village. This is not a reflection of the dinner at the hotel restaurant which we had a good meal and service at.

This "lodge" is pretty old and is in dire need of an update. The place does not offer much and I felt a little ripped off with the price I paid. I selected the largest room, which I liked, but had absolutely no amenities. There was no refrigerator, microwave, or coffe pot included in my room. The hotel offered a continental breakfast and a snack cart but the snacks were extremely over priced. It's not likely I'll stay here again.

It's a beautiful mountain and resort but be prepared to be spoken to like a toddler by the customer…read moreservice staff. Not sure of his name but one man in particular was extremely condescending, arrogant, and rude. My fiancé lost his chair lift pass after one run and he didn't have the ticket stub so there was no way for them to look it up. Unfortunate situation but it is what it is. The front desk staff led by a Mr. Roger's look-alike handled the situation so poorly. We walked out of the office after being talked over for 3 mins straight and spoken to like we were 5 years old by that guy. This was my first time coming here but I won't be returning. I'd urge the company to make sure their customer service agents are actually willing to serve customers, not belittle them. If that guy wasn't a complete jerk, we probably would have bought another day pass because the conditions were perfect and we really enjoyed the one run we got in.

Kid friendly, great for families and or a warm up mountain. Friendly staff and amenities. Nice restaurants near by. Definitely recommend.

It strikes the perfect balance between high-speed efficiency and classic East Coast après vibes. The Mountain: 86 Trails of Pure Variety With 86 trails, there is a clear "mood" for every face of the mountain. The Main Face: Where the Bluebird Express (the famous six-pack bubble chair) lives. It's 66% intermediate, making it a "blue cruiser" heaven. North Face: Hit this if you want the steep stuff and glades. It's where the expert terrain hides. Carinthia: 100 acres of pure terrain park. Even if you don't hit jumps, riding the lift over this area to watch the pros is a show in itself. When to Visit Go: Late January through early March for the best snow. Mid-week is the "pro move" to avoid the Epic Pass weekend crowds. Avoid: Holiday weekends. The lines at the Bluebird can get brutal. The Logistics: Fireplaces & Live Music The Vibe: For that classic lodge feel, head to the Grand Summit Resort or the Fireplace Lodge. There is nothing better than thawing out your boots by a massive stone hearth. The Party: You haven't truly "done" Mount Snow until you hit Cuzzins. The live music here (look for local legend Bruce Jacques on Saturdays) is electric. It's loud, high-energy, and the quintessential "dancing in your ski boots" experience. The Mandatory Pitstop: Vermont Country Deli Do not--I repeat, do not--drive back south without stopping at the Vermont Country Deli in Brattleboro. The Order: Get the Mac and Cheese. It's roughly $4.29 per 1/2 lb (or $12.99 for a "Take & Bake" tray). It's famous for its heavy, crispy cheddar crust and creamy center. Pro Tip: Add their maple pulled pork on top. It's life-changing. Verdict: A world-class lift system and the best terrain park in the East. Just be prepared for $199+ window tickets if you don't book in advance!

The staff at the mountain were all very helpful, friendly, and professional. The mover vans were convenient, taking us from the lodging to the mountain. They run every 15 minutes like clockwork. --Speaking of sticker shock the food at the mountain is very expensive, like ridiculously expensive. Six dollars for a 12 ounce bottled water! $8.50 for a waffle with some chocolate syrup on it? Even the 'authentic' NY pizza is $10 a slice and the slices are small and don't even really look like NY pizza. --The saving grace with the food would definitely be the macaroni and cheese, and they have many versions: like Pesto!. It comes out hot in these giant skillets. Definitely the winner if you're eating on the mountain, but I would suggest bringing your own food and water or else you're going to get fleeced. --Although the skiing and food were very expensive, the experience was worth it, and we will definitely be returning. --FYI-People from Vermont are super nice and helpful. TY.

Ok so this was my first experience ever staying at a hotel...or in this case, an Inn...where there…read moreare ZERO!! employees! Like, you walk in...the keys to your room are in a basket with a piece of paper on the counter, name on that as well. It's very weird. I guess the ...the future? Lemme say a few things..good and bad about that. The Good! Ok...super convenient. In.....and OUT! You drop your key in the basket and bounce. No check-in or check-out. But see! AH! There is also some bad to that...."bad" FOREVER we have ALL dealt with front desk employees. So...we all have gotten used to that, right? Of course. There is some kind of comfort in having a front desk employee there. Thats about all the good...I would say lol The BAD! What if you lock your key in your room on accident? You are basically screwed. Not sure if there is a way to contact anyone to get you back in and yes....they are actual keys! Not the little cards we all see at regular, mainstream hotels. I DID! lock my key in the room the following morning. THANKFULLY! there was ONE employee there...BUT she was there to make the continental breakfast...which I will talk about in a min. She was able to give me my spare key. Thank God. If you need something in the middle of the night...oh well. There is no one there to assist you. They tell you where extra towels are and stuff like that on the paper you get when you check yourself in. It's an Inn...and Inn very close to the slopes. So when there is actual snow and the place is packed....I would assume its similar to being in a college dorm lol Don't get me wrong tho, place is very homey. The common room is incredible and I kept imaging it when I was there....FK! this would be so much fun during ski season and this place is full of people! HOWEVER! People drink and drink a lot. The walls here are THIIIIIIIIN!!! So be prepared for that! BRING. EAR. PLUGS! and use the in room ac unit for the fan to drown out noise from other rooms. You will need it. The views from the rooms are beyond incredible. I have some attached. Beautiful views of the slopes and in the Fall...the colors. The breakfast! FKN! INCREDIBLE!!! She put out all the basics, bagels and whatnot, full muffins...amazing! She made these cinnamon muffins....SO. GOOD!! I too a few home with me to give to my mom haha! Overall, it's a great place. Really is. I would definitely stay again. OH! They allow dogs....for a fee of course...even the super tiny ones. They will know too if you have a dog with you. Cameras....everywhere. It's located on a busy road..so keep a close eye on those pups. The grounds around the Inn are amazing. Cute little pond out back, sitting areas all around. It's a wonderful place. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone going through Manchester or anywhere near there. Very unique experience. I honestly can't remember ever staying at an Inn before. There is something definitely...better..about an Inn vs staying at one of the big hotel chains. Feels more like....a house? with lots of strangers haha! Thanks for reading, YelperBromleyians! My kids loved the inn and the great room gave us a wonderful place to connect with cousins but...there is very little soundproofing in the rooms and, as a result, it was a bit stressful to try to keep our two (under ten) quite enough that we felt we weren't disturbing other guests. We had issues with the Roku television maintaining a connection to the internet and the hot tub (while lovely) is directly outside a room - you can see into the room while you're sitting in the hot tub. Most other guests seemed understanding...but we definitely got a few frustrated glares.
