I am not going to talk too much about this. The place is cool and chill. This is exactly what I want back home. A cool little outdoor bar with a few food trucks. Now the issue is back home it is too cold/rainy to run something like this. They solve that by having little fire pits and fire tables all over the place. The food trucks were a nice bonus as well. I would love to see more places like this anywhere really. Great atmosphere and great beer in a chill location. Would be a solid place at the end of a summer evening to grab a few beers and talk with friends. read more

Great atmosphere! Best, most welcoming and comfortable food truck lot in Bend. They have 3 food trucks, all good, and Rogue Chef is exceptional. The owner has really put a lot of effort in to making it a great place for families or adults to hang out and makes sure every amenity is available. Has a covered beer/cider/kombucha area and a nice lawn with games for all ages. We love this place! read more

Food is good, nice atmosphere. May be kinda pricey for some people. The food carts are all different so you can really choose what to eat, but if you want to have a group meal, it'd be easier to not separate because the food probably won't all be done at the same time ( my friends got their food way before I did). read more

You HAVE to come down to the Bite!! Tumalo has needed this for years and it's finally here. The Beverage selection was great and the Food truck variety was perfect. My Family ate at The Rogue and the Cheesesteak sandwich and BLT were so flavorful and probably one of the best Sandwiches my wife and I have ever had! The grounds were awesome, my kids played the yard games that are available and we sat on the blankets that were provided by The Bite and the atmosphere was alive and active. I love the atmosphere. It's a perfect place to go to get a variety of food and amazing beer. Perfect place for summer food, but they also have a small patio during cold winter months. Great stop on the way to Bend. read more

Okay... I've driven by this place while it was under construction, not sure what it was all about. Stopped by today and was surprised to see what was on hand! 9 or so beers on tap, and 3 or 4 ciders as well... This was around 1:30, after the lunch crowd, but it was still busy with locals enjoying the rest of their lunch and perhaps a cold beverage! Plenty of grass and things to do for kids... as well as adults. Picture the backyard you're always wanted... beer taps, sports on the screen, a great bar to sit and enjoy conversation and a covered patio with cafe tables and chairs! There are 3 food carts... Nuthin' Fancy BBQ, The Rogue Chef, and Rico's Tacos!! Donni, the owner, has taken great pride in this venture and and she's passionate about it... you can tell! This is a perfect setting, great location and a business that will help put Tumalo on the map! They are open 11am to 9pm, 7 Days a Week... we'll be there tomorrow to enjoy the setting, the sunset, a bite to eat and perhaps cold brew! Well done, Donni... great to meet you today! Great place to grab delicious food from food trucks and a drink!! I got food from Heidi's grilled cheesery! I had the cheezus crust it was amazing the flavor of the bacon and different cheeses was awesome. I also got a drink from the Bite CBD Nitro cold brew and was surprised of how creamy and smooth it tasted! It's a very popular place so plan ahead. Didn't eat at the Bite but at the food trucks outside. Had a veggie burrito from the Mexican food truck and it was good. Other trucks include Sandwich, BBQ and grill cheese. The Bite looked like a great place to grab a beer. I did stand outside by their fire pit as my burrito was being made. I'll be back to hang out and have a beer. read more

Stopped here with family for dinner. Usually love food truck scene. Ordered some rolls and hamachi Kama dinner plate from the Japanese food truck (forgot the name). From the Rogue Chef, ordered the cheese burger with fries and fish & chips. The average cost per plate was $15 for the Japanese truck and $14 from Rouge Chef. We was hungry and ate all the food. My Daughter enjoyed her hamburger. I tried few pieces of the spicy tuna roll and the California roll. Rolls were smaller than what I was used to and the seaweed was very stale. The Hamachi Kama plate was just ok. Nothing special. Slightly undercooked. The veggies were too finely chopped and didn't add much flavor to the dish. Added a lot of soy sauce to improve flavor. The fish and chip were the most disappointing. The cod didn't seem fresh and the beer batter was over fried. Instead of being flakey and crunchy, it was just too hard and oily. The covered area serving beer was good though. Friendly staff and good beer! Lots of ppl having fun. I wanted to like this place more, and I probably will come back again, but will try the other food trucks next time. read more

The idea and setup is wonderful. A fun place to hang out...... but a Trader Jo's Burrito is more authentic than the Ricos Mexican. Garlic fries at Rogue were very disappointing as well. Great place to hang and get a beer, but don't waste your time on the food. read more

The bite is a really cool gathering place, and we hope warm enough to be comfortable all year. The owners are cool and accommodating and give generous tasters. I gave four stars because I am a vegetarian and had very little fare to choose from. If I'd wanted "dinner", a burrito and fries would've been it. One's own food is allowed, but that's just not as fun. read more

Was excited to visit this place during our recent stay in Tumalo. Went on a Sunday evening around 7pm. The environment was upbeat. Most of the firepits were already full with families and their kids. We started in the BITE with a couple of beers. HIGHLY recommend the Ancestry IPA. YUM YUM!!! and at $4 a pop.... Many local craft beers. The young man pouring was very personable. Went out to the food trucks to order dinner and found that 2 were closed, one was sold out of food. The only ones open were Rico's Tacos and the Grilled Cheese truck. Had mexican for lunch so didn't want to do that twice...ended up just ordering a soup and salad from the sandwhich truck. Service super slow and it took a good 30-40 minutes to get a simple salad and a cup of soup. HOWEVER, the sunrise curry soup was amazing. My husband choose a grilled cheese and it was pretty good, came with chips and a cup of pickles both dill and sweet. I gave it a 4 stars because of the service and also because kids were pretty much unsupervised....wielding long branches, swinging them around, and pushing each other in wagons with no real sense of people around them. I had to dodge the wagon train a couple times. Not a good mix with alcohol also being served, in a public area, where tourists like myself might pop by. Maybe the weekdays are better. read more

Visiting bend from Portland saw this place lite up from the street with cute little hanging lights. What's a sweet place to stumble upon! They have several beers and wines to choose from to sip on while you eat and enjoy the outside. The Rogue Chef food cart is to die for. They also have a nice grassy area with a fire bit to enjoy your time at. Shawnna is a very sweet, friendly and attentive bartender! The owners seem great too! I HIGHLY recommend this place! So glad I've stumbled upon it while I'm visiting this beautiful city! I've already been here twice in two days:) read more
