We ordered at the counter, grabbed drinks from the fridge and found a table on the side, covered patio. Food was brought out super quickly and it was absolutely delicious. I got the St. Philip pita, which was incredible and almost tasted like a halal cart chicken sandwich in the best way. It was so filling and so good. It came with a really tasty side salad. My fiance got the BLT which was just as great. I can see this being a really ideal space to bring my laptop and get some work done if I lived in the area. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a great, casual space for breakfast, lunch or coffees.

Since this location is in downtown Charleston, it was easy to wander around outside and keep ourselves entertained until I got the text that our table was about to be ready and we had 10 minutes to check in. Once I checked in, we were seated immediately and told to scan the QR code at the table to see the menu. A few minutes later, our server came by and asked if we wanted coffee or other drinks. After she came back with drinks, she took our order. I got the cornmeal pancakes. They are made of cornmeal so they had a different taste than what I was used to with pancakes. It wasn't a bad taste. They tasted like a combo of sweet, but also savory. They also felt very light so I didn't feel overstuffed after eating them. Because of how busy they are, they got us in and out in less than 40 minutes. There are signs at the table to not stay longer than 90 minutes, but this was no problem here. Just something to keep in mind to not hang around if you're done with your meal and you see a giant wait outside. As we were leaving, other people were being quoted about a 45+ minute wait. Since it's in downtown Charleston, there is no dedicated parking lot. However, there is street parking available nearby. First, there really isn't much in terms of vegetarian options. Second, the prices are about $6-10 too much in some cases. For instance, I got the vegan butternut squash soup--it was $16 for just a cup of soup with one piece of cold focaccia. I've never paid $16 for a cup of soup. Never. Ever. For me, it should have been $8-10 based on size alone. Maybe $12 if it were a bowl...but it wasn't. It was a cup. It also tasted like vinegar. In hindsight, I should have sent it back...but I didn't want to be "one of those people". Next, their sandwiches are between $17-$21. That's just a lot for a sandwich no matter how you look at it. It just seems like there should be a couple of lunch option that are #1-Vegetarian and #2--in a lower price range. Oftentimes, lunch is my smallest meal of the day, and besides the soup, everything seemed too big...and too pricey to me.
