Sevier River RV Park - Right next to an amazing bike path!! I road up the canyon to Big Candy Rock Mountain. It's about a 7 or 8 mile bike ride. What a ride!!!

This scene is right out of heaven. I camped in a private spot right on the river between two…read moremountains - the view is majestic if you like the red rock vibes. I made so many water fowl friends and caught bullfrogs - taking a dip to cool down in the 55 degree water. Swarms of hummingbirds! I have never camped somewhere that is so eco diverse! The price is right! And yes, the showers take quarters - so I take a shorter shower and prevent water waste. Fresh eggs on site are a must! They even had no issue with me recharging my solar generator on cloudy days or getting fresh spring water from an available spigot. This place is a dream, I felt in my own world in a remote spot on site. A quick e-bike ride up to the main lodge to grab a shower (clean! spacious and private!) or do laundry (not coin operated - pay as you go) or grab ice. Bring cash or grab change from office. Everyone is really nice and accommodating. There are door-dashers on site, so I had provisions from the nearest town delivered with ease. They are fairly new and upgrading amenities every day that I cannot wait to come back and visit my duck buddies and see and experience all the new activities/amenities on site. Thank you for sharing this sacred land!!!!

As others have said, this building alone makes a visit to the co-op worth your time. I also love…read moresupporting local artists, so I was excited to check this place out. The first thing I noticed was the wide variety of inventory. Much of it reminds me of Relief Society's Super Saturdays where all the women get together and make crafts. You can find those here. Oddly, you'll also find mingled throughout the handiwork, mass-produced cheap stuff. It's a weird assortment of goods. After sorting through it all, I found some yummy soap and a little candy. This would be a place I'd probably pop in to occasionally to see what's new.

The coolest thing about this place is it's history. The Co-op is the first building of the modern…read moreday Snow College. The building itself was built in the late 1880's and house the then Snow Academy founded by LDS church leader Brigham Young and his cousin. The Co-op building is more than just a local shop filled with items for sale by local artists though, it also houses a venue upstairs for things like receptions The building sits on the corner of Main Street a few blocks away from the college. There is plenty of parking behind the building and also in the street. A lot of the items in the store are created by local artists and people whose heritage traces back to the area. You can find crafts of all sorts. Recipe books, paintings, knitwear, you can find a bit of everything. The venue upstairs rents out for receptions and has plenty is space for seating. There is a kitchen for small food prep and a changing room if you are doing a wedding reception. Old wooden floors, adobe brick walls and a nice wooden staircase lead into the main area .
