We recently stayed here in September. Very cute place. We had a lovely room with a king bed. Everything seemed newly done. We were able to travel to Capital Reef National Park and Escalante Grand Stair Case National Memorial. It is a very small town but went to the local restaurant one night and just got microwave meals for the second night. We were tired from traveling in the park and the room was very comfy. Didn't give 5 stars because no breakfast was available, but coffee was. We did buy a breakfast microwave sandwich which worked out well. We definately would stay here again if we are ever in the area. Thank you for a nice place!!

Very nice little place. We've got a king room and it is very comfortable. The owners are very friendly and available for whatever. It is a tiny town in the middle of nowhere Utah but we're glad we came here for our lodging. We plan to go to Capital Reef NP and Grand Staircase both which are around 30 miles from here. Thank you Ryan and Cynthia.

Affordable rates and a friendly, helpful staff make this a great place to stay. The accommodations are cozy with a dash of rustic.

My only ding, is Loa is in a dry county, so while we wanted to relax with a glass of wine, we would have had to to back to Torrey for that.

That was a very pleasant surprise. This place seems newly constructed and was very nicely designed to be spacious feeling in a very simple way. The main building was just a row of rooms, similar to a motel, but the artistry of the rope walls flowing like a canyon, really uplifted the whole feel. In the room the green plants, wall art and simplicity of a clean room, with the space to have comfy seating gave a feeling of ease. The open view to the cliff wall from the sliding door wall was about the prettiest scene you would want out of your bedroom. They offer rooms with and without a hot-tub on the back porch, as well as dome rooms, some with skylights for night time star viewing. However the domes don't open for reservations until sometime in April, the rooms with hot-tubs go very quickly!! I regret to say that we only stayed overnight. I now wish I had given us more time in this delightful hotel.

I stayed here three nights and was excited that each day I came back, the complimentary snacks and sodas were restocked along with fresh ground coffee from a local coffee establishment. Also a good sized mini fridge with freezer and microwave. There's art all around you in the room and outside and the bathroom was incredibly clean with fabulous products. If I ever come back to Torrey (which I don't think I will), I would absolutely stay again but otherwise cannot recommend this place enough!

If you're on your way in or out of Capitol Reef National Park, these are located in the town of Bicknell, bordering Lyman. There are 8 cabins to choose from all made from different types of wood. We stayed in Cabin #4. It was perfectly simplistic. It was furnished with two queen beds, and a private restroom with a shower in the back of the cabin. Keep in mind that the cabin is not equipped with air conditioning, but does have a heater. Our toddler son loved to play on the front porch, and the surrounding views are gorgeous as well. Would definitely recommend.

However, these cabins are a solid option - contactless check-in/checkout, clean interior, and great prices. Ontop of that there is a trail above the cabins that leads to a channel from the Fremont River, as well as sweeping views of the area. The cabin we stayed in was well constructed, clean, and offered a quiet respite after long hiking trips. I wouldn't recommend our cabin if it's really hot outside, as they have a fan and screened windows but no AC (have to wait until the outdoors cools down and then the inside will cool down as well). They do have a heater, frig, TV, microwave, and plenty of lighting. While the views aren't entirely unspoilt ( someone's fenced backyard and a lumber mill is visible), and it's a bit further than Torrey, it's still a gem of a deal for the rustic but clean ambiance, great price, and lack of noise. Plus the contactless check-in process!
