Be careful!! Stay away from this horrible company. I hired them two years ago to put gutter guards…read moreon my gutters. I loved the technician named Eddie. Very nice and easy to talk to. I was told how the gutter guard would get slid under the shingles and then attach to the gutters (as it should). I sign off on the estimate. And then they come to do the job. From the ground level it looked like everything was going well. I later walk upstairs to a bedroom and look out the window to find that he was installing the gutter guards OVER the shingles and drilling screws INTO my shingles!!! He was creating holes in my shingles which becomes a new source of water breaching which is the exact opposite purpose of having a roof and gutter guards. I immediately run outside to question what he is doing. I was so alarmed. He had already installed almost 1/3 of the gutter guards damaging my roof. He kept insisting that this was a standard way to install the guards. I told him absolutely not. I am very familiar with gutter guards and know very well that they have to be slid under the shingles. How can you drill screws into shingles creating holes all around my roof edge?!?! He kept promising me that it would be fine and that if there were ever a problem I can call and they would come back to remedy it no charge. I emailed the main office telling them what happened and telling them what he said. They wrote back confirming that they would come back anytime in the future for free should a problem ever arise. At that point I felt I had no other recourse because he had already installed 1/3 of the guards around my roof. So he went ahead and finished. I gave them a good review online because I trusted them that this will still be okay and they will stand by any issues that arise in the future. Fast forward 2 years later, now some of the gutter guards have loosened (obviously because they were screwed in and now the screws are getting loose). Multiple gutters have gotten clogged with leaves even though that is exactly what they were supposed to prevent. I got on a ladder and discovered the reason is because he cut the gutter guard edges with gaps from roof edge to roof edge. So there are multiple entry points for the leaves and dirt to go into. All he did was cover SECTIONS of my gutters but left gaping holes in multiple areas so that they no longer serve their purpose. I have tried repeatedly to get in touch with Home Ally. I've called and left messages. No response. I've sent Thumbtack messages. No response. I've sent emails. No response. This is beyond disturbing. I had another company come to look and they said they've never seen anything so disastrous with gutter guards. And the amount of damage caused to my roof is irreversible! What was supposed to be a simple job to protect my home has turned into a nightmare now that will cost me thousands and thousands of dollars!! Stay far away from this company. They do not do quality work and clearly could care less to respond to any messages or voicemails.

Run away. Expensive and shady. I called this company after…read moreseeing positive reviews here, which now I don't understand at all. Perhaps they are simply fabricated. I had a clogged drain. They sent a technician and charged me over $700 before even looking at the pipes. I still can't believe I fell for it and paid them. Every other plumber or electrician I have ever used charged after finishing the work, not before. The technician made a mess and failed to unclog the drain. He told me they would need to take down walls, and he put me on the phone with his boss, the same person who had taken my credit card and whose name I still do not know. I was told that ceilings would have to come down as well but not to worry because they would apply part of the money I had already paid to this new project. I can barely imagine how much more they would have charged had I gone through with it. I almost did fall for it a second time, but for many reasons, I decided I needed to put the brakes on, and I tried calling them back. I assumed it would be simple enough - I figured they would refund me a part of the money they had taken, and we would agree that it was a difficult job and there would be no hard feelings. Wishful thinking. Despite several calls over multiple days to the company's answering service, I'm still waiting for a response. By chance, a neighbor sent a different plumber over to my house who charged me a small fraction of what this company did, solved the problem in 30 minutes, took care of other issues he noticed, and cleaned the whole area while I was at work. I don't know who runs All 24 Hours Brooklyn Plumbing, and I'm not even sure they are actual plumbers at all. I really mean that. The statement "from the owner" on Google Maps even has the word "plumbing" misspelled more than once (though perhaps they'll fix at least that if they bother to read this review). I've learned my lesson. If you're reading this and still decide to call them, at the very least get their price before they send someone to your home.
