Ah the bell, well, let's start by saying this place was recommended by my taxi driver, unfortunately it didn't live up to his praise. Let's start from when we first walked in. No greeting, although the bartender made eye contact. Next, no instruction on where to sit...ok so open seating. Sat at a table by the bar, eye contact continues but no acknowledgment of our existence. As more patrons entered, Still nothing. 20 minutes and having looked at the menu multiple times a waitress appears. Glory be to god! She decided to wonder over with no apology for making us wait and took our order. Finally! I ordered the classic burger, now at this point I believe that typically what you see on a menu is what you get. But not here, they give you stuff you don't ask for. A classic burger is described as an 8oz burger with lettuce, tomato, and onion....pretty hard to mess up right? Well, here they like to put bacon and cheese on your burger as well....I know most won't complain about the freebies but for me that isn't appreciated. After tracking the waitresses down again, she promptly said she'd have another burger prepared...but from the time she took this one back to bringing out the next one I'm sure they just scraped off the stuff I didn't want and put the whole thing back together. Great job guys, I would have never thought of doing that! Unfortunately poor service, lack of ability to do ones job and poor service have prompted me to leave a poor review. After traveling the entire country of Ireland I can say that without a doubt this is the worst place I've been to food and service wise. Save yourself the time and energy and find anywhere else to eat and drink. Poor form "the bell." I will never be back here and will always recommend people to stay clear of this terrible establishment. Oh the shining light of this place is they have free WiFi, from which I am using to write this review. read more
