The keg for my beer kicked while it was pouring and the bartender apologized. As you can see in the photo, it's still just a hair under a proper pint but as much as I'd find in an American pint. I'm okay with that. For dinner, I chose the Lamb Hot Pot. (The chicken curry is also a good choice as it smelled heavenly as it went by to another table.) A big iron pot topped with melted cheese, underneath a hot stew that was more lamb than anything else. Tasty, rich, delicious and a big portion. You could be waiting 30 minutes for your beer, or you could have one delivered the second you finish your first.

It's a spit-and-sawdust sort of place, quiet enough during the week and perfect for a few pints with a group of people. The staff are friendly and there's always some banter between the regulars and the barmen.
