The keg for my beer kicked while it was pouring and the bartender apologized. As you can see in the photo, it's still just a hair under a proper pint but as much as I'd find in an American pint. I'm okay with that. For dinner, I chose the Lamb Hot Pot. (The chicken curry is also a good choice as it smelled heavenly as it went by to another table.) A big iron pot topped with melted cheese, underneath a hot stew that was more lamb than anything else. Tasty, rich, delicious and a big portion. The food is also surprisingly good. They even have a handful of craft beers in addition to the old standards, though the wine isn't an option you should go with. You could be waiting 30 minutes for your beer, or you could have one delivered the second you finish your first.

The Bell is especially popular during the summer months because they have a large outdoor seating area, but even in winter it's usually hopping.
