Downstairs you will find a nice quaint pub with quiet areas to sit in small or larger groups. Bar food is reasonable, if not a little bland. The menu for the bar rarely changes and chicken can be often dry. However, if you make a complaint, the staff here cannot do enough to help rectify the situation. The food is also surprisingly good. They even have a handful of craft beers in addition to the old standards, though the wine isn't an option you should go with. The only issue, again potentially due to the time of year I go, is the service is very inconsistent. You could be waiting 30 minutes for your beer, or you could have one delivered the second you finish your first.
