While walking around the downtown area after a trolley ride, we stopped in the beer hall for some quick drinks before we headed back. As we walked in the space is large with a lot of seating, which was perfect as we were a group of five. The bartenders attended to us very quickly. We ordered two bottles of rosé which they kept one chilled for us as we got through the first bottle. It was a good vibe that there was good music, but you could still have a good conversation. We enjoyed our time there and I would definitely stop in again in the future.

I went here on a random Thursday for a work happy hour not expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The inside was spacious and well decorated with plenty of tables for large groups. Their beer menu is pretty extensive, and I appreciated how knowledgeable and helpful the bartender was when I said I wasn't the biggest beer person (I know I'm sorry!). The highlight for me was the Rosti & Roe; I genuinely could not stop eating them. This is a great spot to stop by when you're in the Union Square area and want a place to chill!

Went to Beer Hall before a concert on a Monday a few weeks ago. Plenty of space, airy, friendly staff. We sat at a booth and had some delicious half pours of beer including an Octoberfest. My Margarita flat bread was delicious, a ton of Arugula, and all the flavor I was looking for in a flat bread pizza. Really enjoyed my time there and will be back!

After arriving to the City from the South Bay and checking into the Proper Hotel my fiancé and I walked around looking for a bar or somewhere to eat. But on our way to the Big Apple Pizza we saw a sign with a Beer stein pointing us to a door with the words "Beer Hall". Peeking our head inside we were greeted from a voice in the distance "Welcome, come on in! We're open!" Walking in we were confused where to go and making our way to the bar we were welcomed by kind hearted lady named Betsy (Bets) who was so down to earth and friendly to a point I wanted to kick it with her and have a beer, she was telling us of events and popups that were happening that evening and during the weekend. I ordered the Ghost Town "Oblivion" Hazy IPA from Oakland and my fiancé ordered the Faction "1970s" Light Lager. We ordered the Rosti & Roe (potato cakes, crème fraiche, malt vinegar, trout roe, peas, and mint) and the Fried Chicken Sandwich to share with a side of fries. The Rosti & Roe was to die for. It was incredible, it was crunchy, savory, creamy, but also so fresh with ingredients. My mouth is watering right now thinking of it. The textures were out of this world from the crunch of the potato to squishy from the trout roe. If you are a food venture-er I would HIGHLY recommend this dish. The Fried Chicken Sandwich had such a juicy meat and a great crunch in the munch of the sando. (if you couldn't tell I'm all about texture) The sandwich had such a great classic taste to it where you couldn't go wrong with the build of the meal. I would one hundred and ten percent come back to the Beer Hall and explore more of their menu, it's its just hard to know where to land for a good spot to eat in the City when you have hidden gems like the Beer Hall. 10 out of 10 would recommend the Beer Hall! Cheers Bets!

Super big and chill space to grab a few brews. Came in on a Saturday evening to kill some time before meeting up with some friends. Plenty of seats and friendly staff. Food was good too, but not too much of a selection. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

I have been wanting to come to their main spot (they used to have a smaller spot near NEMA) & I finally stumbled upon it! I came for the sour and I'm not disappointed at all. The pretzel is good also. Service was a little slow at the start, probably waited a good 10+ minutes. I'll come back for the beer selection for sure and I highly recommend you do the same

Came on after a play, matinee show at 1pm. Was looking for a place before it started. Not many places around and didtopen until noon. Wish it opened early when shows are at the theater. Food was 7 out of 10. Beer selection was extrnsive - hence the name.

A warm but clean venue that serves beer but also really good food. Walking in the staff is already giving a warm-welcome to invite us to sit. The staff is actually excited to give recommendations to what their favorites are and honestly I barely looked at the menu because I'm already sold. First dish was the Rosti and Roe. 4 bite-sized portions that are beautifully serve. The texture is great but the flavor is a bit underwhelming. The creme fraiche overpowers most of the bite. It's not bad, but a little lacking in flavor. A touch more of salt would be great on the potato cakes. I think you can skip this one. Second dish was the Pretzel & Welsh Rabbit Sauce. A warm fresh pretzel with a sauce I never tried. I think if you never had it, it's worth a try! Leaves you wanting more and makes you feel more like in the bar vibe setting at a much nicer scale. Third dish was the Fried chicken sandwich. I can't really speak on this too much because I was splitting it and it became kind of a mush. I think I lost a lot of texture doing so but flavor wise was great! Truffle fries add-on came out great too, good crisp. Last dish we got was the pate with crostini chips. Very nice to get at a beer hall and really fun to eat. They come with a combination of toppings so it was fun to try different things I think this is worth getting once to try. I wish there were more crostini chips because we ended up with too much pate. All said, I think if you come here for food, you'll have a good time! I can't speak much on the beer since I don't really drink alcohol (stomach doesn't do well) :). Comfort feed with really fun and great service.

From start to finish, it had the whole room dancing, clapping and screaming with joy. You can tell how much work goes into these performances and it truly shows. The Harry Potter themed vibe is also super unique. The lighting, the artwork, and the overall atmosphere make this place stand out from your typical drag brunch. If you're a Harry Potter fan, this spot is a must. The food was fresh and delicious, but let's talk about Nate the bartender, super cool, kind and welcoming. He really brings great energy to the space. Definitely try the Love Potion, it's a standout. I'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place to everyone!

The themeing is so on point inside! Some of their drinks are interactive which adds on to the themes. My friend thought the wands were available for show and borrow and got charged $20 for the wand xD I gotta say the night we went, bartender was pretty slow... it almost felt like he forgot our order bc it would take a while and when finished making drinks it was actually another groups order. The bartender wasn't super busy either. The drinks were hit or miss, espresso martini they had on the menu is probably premade bc I asked to change the liquor and he said I wouldn't be getting the one that's on the menu. Tried the one on the menu and lowkey hated it, tastes watered down and bitter. Although I tried my friends "butterbeer" cocktail and omfg if you have to order something get that. It was so good. Drink costs were about $16-$18. For me, it was nice to try and a fun experience! But probably one and done ToT

The mushroom slice was good too, though I wanted more mushroom flavor. They did ran out of most slices pretty fast so come early. Love that you can get whatever toppings on the slices too. The french onion dip was unexpectedly spicy and tasty, lots of garlic (I think). It leaned a little salty but was a nice bite. Honestly the whole menu sounded good but I was happy with my choices and very stuffed. I also had the banana biscoff pudding which was yum. I got a spicy vodka pie to go too which was great but not as good as the slices there (not about reheating but the flavors seemed slightly different). It's a pretty huge pizza - the box literally would not fit in my fridge. Made for a solid lunch plus more leftovers in the freezer. I also got a salted brown butter cookie to go which was good but I've had better and prefer my cookies a little chewier. But it was a huge cookie for $3 in a city where smaller similar cookies can be $5 so I appreciated that. Lots of wine and beer options and I appreciated that they had a bunch of N/A options. Service was great and the I enjoyed my time there. I round up to 5 stars because of the overall experience.

The crust is my favorite part -- it's thin (but not too thin), savory, and almost focaccia-like. The vodka sauce on the stracciatella pizza is balanced, and ingredients taste super fresh. Paired with a draft beer, this makes for a super well-rounded meal :^ ) I was also surprised I liked the burger as much as I did. The burger comes with a generously portioned, juicy patty and is paired with piping hot and well-salted fries. Would easily make many more visits to this establishment!
