I left with makeup residue around my eyes, which any trained professional would know to remove before starting a treatment. The whole appointment felt careless and poorly done. A proper spa experience should be relaxing, clean, and professional -- this was the complete opposite. I purchased a 3-for-1 deal expecting quality service, but after this experience I don't even want to return for the remaining sessions. What's most frustrating is that after expressing my concerns, she refuses to offer any kind of refund and continues claiming she has "25 years of experience." It's $300 for underarms there for 5 sessions meanwhile Serene was around $80 for 6 SESSIONS! I also got Brazilian done for 6 sessions as well, $170! The staff at Serene are so welcoming and so so sooo sweet. I have thick Asian hair that grows fast. I used to have to shave twice a day. My hair would grow back within hours. Going to music festivals and the beach was such a nightmare since I'd feel insecure of my hair growing back even after shaving. I saw improvements after my first session only. I went from shaving daily to BIWEEKLY! Even after 2 weeks there wasn't even much to shave. I am so happy with my decision to get laser at Serene. On top of laser they do offer other services such as Keloid shots. I had a bad infection on my shoulder earlier this year which resulted in a keloid scar on my shoulder that bothered me. One other thing I really appreciated was that he actually called me around the 7 day mark after my injections just to check in and see how I was doing. That's something I never experienced at the other place I used to go to, and it really shows how much he cares about his patients and their results.
