I had an incredible experience at Gateway Medical Spa, and I truly don't believe it was by coincidence. I came in last minute for a cortisone injection on a big pimple on my chin. As someone who used to struggle with cystic acne, one pimple isn't usually a big deal anymore (thankfully acne hasn't been an issue for me the last few years). But I'm heading to the East Coast to meet some family members for the first time (tomorrow) and I was feeling very self-conscious. Mary Grace took me in even though I didn't realize they were actually closed today Life has been a roller coaster these last couple of months, and I've been doing my best to keep my head high. I went to get a forehead Botox but I was persuaded to get a Botox at crows feet, i was told it will brighten my eyes. Now I have a loss of muscular lymphatic drainage. They should give thorough information of the possible side effects, specific to treatment. Where do I even begin! This place is AMAZING !!! I've had my Botox done from a really well known place but I must say my experience here beats anywhere else I've been too. Not only is the place so welcoming but my injector RICKY was theeeeee BEST !!! He's extremely professional and kind. I didn't feel rushed, he listened to my concerns and my goals for my face. I was getting my Botox done and I didn't want my eyebrows too lifted. He took his time to do the placement (dots) on my face and prior to injecting he explained how much units he's placing in every spot and what is an estimated outcome from it. He was clear to the point and so knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable and confident. And in addition to that I barely felt the needles,seriously I didn't even tear up (which I usually do cus I have a low pain tolerance). Got the Sylfirm face treatment and my experience was phenomenal. Shoutout to all the staff for an excellent service. The treatment is similar to microneedling but with the benefit of no downtime. Mary Grace by far gave me the best facial I have ever received. She's very knowledgeable about your skin and facial products. She spent a lot of time sharing information with me before she even started the facial. She even went as far as sharing the steps of the facial and all the ingredients that were being used. Lexi has been doing my facials and she's great. She always answers all of my questions and knows alot about skin care and treatments... Lexi started me with a salicylic peel for my acne, and after 3 peels i could see amazing results... the peel was pretty painful, but definitely worth it... Today i went in for a PCA sensi peel and it wasn't as bad... Lexi walks you through every step and explains the procedure... they also offer special promotions and package deals so you get more bang for your buck... Everytime I go to this medspa the employees are as happy and helpful as can be! They truly do make you feel welcome and have this "I love my job" vibe (which you want at any business, ESPECIALLY a med spa)! Their pricing though is not as competitive. I have a plastic surgeon office I visit that has higher skilled workers that charge less for better expertise. Gateway is still a great alternative though.
