What makes this place unique is the beautiful tropical gardens. The down side is that it does not have a heated pool. All through the winter months ,the pool is unusable except for the most hardy. Also, if you have any trouble with mobility you will have great difficulty getting to the beach because there is a huge sand dune that you must climb over to get to the beach. There are two tennis courts and a hot tub. Many other resorts have more amenities. We give SeaWinds 5 stars for its excellent location, close to restaurants and shopping, beautiful gardens, ponds and wildlife, convenience of condos with garages and driveways. THE OCEAN GALLERY REVIEW: 310 PREMIER VISTA WAY…read more In planning for our one week yearly summer beach getaway to St. Augustine, we came across a lovely beach condo at the Ocean Gallery. It was the most expensive rental place for us so far (over $3000), but it had a beautiful view of the beach and looked very nice in the pictures. What we found upon arriving was the exact opposite of what was in the ad. All of the things wrong should have been caught if the complex was managed well and they checked each unit BEFORE it was rented to the next guest! Let me list the many things that we found: The bathroom sink in the second bath barely drained. Th toilet in the second bathroom was loose and the maintenance people said they needed to replace it, so to be very careful in using it. The toilet in the first bathroom ran all the time. The screen porch screen was off its track. The closet door was also off track. The door to the patio was broken and could not be locked. Broken baseboard pulled away from the wall in the main bedroom. Old, stained, and torn furniture on the patio. (I have a great picture). Along with all of these problems, the kitchen and the glass patio doors were SO FILTHY that we had to go out and buy cleaning supplies to wash the doors and cabinets in the kitchen before we would consider putting our food in the cabinets or enjoying the patio. Because it was LABOR DAY WEEKEND, we were not able to talk to the management the day that we arrived. So we enjoyed St Augustine as best we could, but a few days before we left, we spoke to Anne, the manager of the Ocean Gallery. We were very unsatisfied with her response...that is the main reason I wanted to let other renters know that this company is ONLY interested in getting your money but not in keeping you happy! It should be the responsibility of the rental company to check our each unit BEFORE it is rented! The renter should not have to bring such a long list to the management while they are trying to enjoy their one-week beach vacation! This is NOT THE TRUE GEM that I always look for and I would say RENTERS BEWARE OF THE OCEAN GALLERY!! It is NOT MANAGED WELL!!!

There are few two bedroom units with two bathrooms but they may be difficult to book as this is a very popular timeshare. There will be no presentation for buying if you are lucky enough to get a week at The Beach Club because it's near capacity with ownership. That's rare in this timeshare world. Come bask in the sun and rest by the pool for a home away from home vacation.

They sleep 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children max. The 2BR units have additional twins in the 2nd BR. There are a few strict resort rules - including no pets and 10:00 check out - read them so you don't have surprises.

We had a 3 bedroom, 2 bath... kitchen and all else was reasonably outfitted. We cooked many of our dinners here and had all we needed. Similar for breakfast. We also loved we were just a couple miles from all things St. Augustine tourist-wise. We drove up several days. It was literally a few minutes drive, and there is ample parking at the city garage should you not find other options. We enjoyed several days of walking adventures from there. I stayed at Pierpoint South Unit 60 this past week. The pros: Excellent beach view and access. The…read morewasher/ dryer work well. The cons: VERY uncomfortable furniture! The pictures on the Pierpoint South website show the correct furniture but their pictures must be old as all furniture is old, worn out and almost unbearable to sit in. Kitchen needs work, broken drawers, old & rusty flatware and knives. When you run the water in the kitchen sink, it makes a horrific sound. Downstairs bathroom has a corroded faucet and what appears to be black mold in the air vent. Upstairs guest bathroom has mismatched floor tiles and the shower tile grout is stained from what appears to be mold. The master bathroom has stained tile/ grout in the shower. The mattress was extremely lumpy and uncomfortable, we flipped the mattress to try and help get a better night's sleep but it did not help. The balcony furniture is the cheap plastic stuff that looks pretty disgusting. The sliding glass door to the balcony was absolutely filthy!!! We used water and towels to clean it just so we could enjoy the ocean view. I will definitely not stay in Unit 60 again!

Any Maintenance issues (which have been minimal) have been resolved very quickly and Grounds are immaculate. We've stayed in both the Oceanfront (unit 63, 60) and Oceanview Units (Units 16,34,18). There really is NO BAD VIEW in the entire Complex. The Salt Water Pool is always sparkling. The Complex is one of the closest, if not the closest to the Beach on the Island. The Wednesday Farmers Market right next door in front of the Pier is something that we never miss. They sell everything from Beach Jewelry to fresh Seafood. The Live Band and Food during the Summers in front of the Pier is something that we never miss. Oh and I cannot leave out Rita's Ice Cream and Antonio's Pizza right next door. The BEST surprise came when we went down for the last week of Dec in 2021. The New Year Fireworks off of the Pier Party was fabulous and Pier Point South hired Security to keep the Complex from getting bombarded with non Guests. This was our second time staying at Ocean Gate at Hibiscus and had no problems. This time we had…read moremany issues. The rug in the condo had lots of disguting stains, the screen door to the patio was completely ripped so we could not leave it open. The dryer left rust stains on our clothes and the heat sensors on the dryer were not working. The ice maker was not working at all and it was turned to the "on" position. There were no batteries in the remote for the primary bedroom TV, we called and were told housekeeping would bring up batteries, they never showed up so we just ended up sharing a remote with the other bedroom. The primary bedroom doesn't have cable but the living room and secondary bedrooms do (make that make sense). We came back very late one night to someone parked in our assigned spot, we called security but he wasn't even on site (also make that make sense), so we parked in visitor parking and my husband left a note on the car stating to not park in our spot. Come to find out the next day the person who parked in our spot was housekeeping. Why is housekeeping there at 1:00 AM? And they should not be parking in spots that are reserved for guests who are renting. We also found out that housekeeping came into our condo without our permission! There is no housekeeping services, so please tell me why someone is allowed to enter without permission or knowledge? We found this out because we had a vacuum in the closet and we went to go use it and it was gone. My husband went down to the office to find out what could have happened and he was told housekeeping is allowed to enter!! I don't have proof unfortunately, but I have some very expensive makeup go missing!! It never left the bathroom and was there the night before all this happened. Hot water doesn't last very long and almost non existent after a few minutes. The grounds really need some help with clean up and landscaping. Leaves and brush keep falling into the spa's and the pools. Very disappointed in our stay and don't feel safe knowing people can just enter without knowledge.

Very musty, unpleasant smell in entry hallway. No elevator to bring in luggage. Dirty very stained poor quality carpet. Dirty stained furniture that has outlived its usefulness. Low definition TV signal going into a high definition TV which distorts all broadcasts. Fitness center was pitiful. Three machines and three kettlebells. Ceiling in bathroom has water damage and is peeling. Washer and dryer have been placed in a closet space that is too small, so doors have been removed. Oven was dirty Coffee maker is cheap and the warming plate is burnt. It needs to be replaced. Exterior needs to be power washed. Slatted blinds do not allow room that do not keep out light. Very small closet of master bedroom is in the bathroom. Shower in master bath needs to have grout cleaned. Sprayer fixture of kitchen sink is loose. Shower fixture in master bath is loose There is no reception or checkin on property which should have been one of our first warnings about the property. Expedia did not represent this property accurately. If these conditions do not bother you then maybe it's the place for you, but I would steer clear.
