    three tacos on a plate
    Khash G.

The tacos were super delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure we got exactly what we wanted. And let me tell you, those tacos were just bursting with flavor - the perfect blend of spices, fresh ingredients, and tender meat. Plus, their homemade salsa is to die for! The prices are super reasonable, and the portions are just right.

The 2nd location of The Bay's Taco Truck is in a Chevron station where The Everest Momo food truck once was. The Bay has a vast and ambitious menu. 2 plastic seats in front of the truck. offerings: breakfast, tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, tortas, plates, flautas, sopes, tostadas, fries, wings, hot dogs, etc.. eats: lengua/cabeza tacos @3. -mini tacos filled with juicy proteins, cilantro, jalepeno slices, radishes, fresh onions, green salsa. generous & fresh servings. -quick, courteous service. nuanced flavors, not overpowdering. quesabirrias sold in 3's only. -unknown where the parking is here. only noticed spaces in front of store.

Did a random drive by when I was hungry and with 1 review thought I'd give it a go. I hate when taco trucks also serve burgers and other random items but was pleasant surprised The $14 quesabirria was actually very well done. Juicy and crisp with a great caldo. No tables so be prepared to balance larger plates in your lap Worth stopping for

Stopped here to get a shrimp and steak burrito. It was delicious and filling. The salsa tasted fresh. I would go back again. It's worth trying if you're hungry.

Flautas con pollo w/ avocado (chips and delicious pickled veggies come with every meal)

The outside is very unassuming, but everything that comes out of this taco truck is absolutely delicious. Everything is hot and fresh + meals come with these yummy pickled jalapeños/ carrots and chips/ salsa. We've been here three times now and everything we've ordered has been great - the chicken flautas (pictured) are my favorite, they are smothered in pico, cilantro, and sour cream. All the workers are also so kind and fast + the prices are super reasonable (especially for the portions), I would highly recommend!!!

A total find! They have the best Birria Tacos ever and I'm glad they're a few doors down from my shop!

I was immediately greeted by chef Elmy and his staff. I ordered a gyro to go as I knew my wife would want to try as well. I was expecting a gyro neatly wrapped like a burrito in foil that I could place in my bag. Instead I was presented with two heaping plates of food covered in foil. Luckily the bike I was riding had a basket. Chef Elmy told me which plate to keep on top and instructed me to be careful with the food on my ride home. "Yes sir". I got home and present the plates to my wife. She removed the foil unveiling two colorful delicious looking plates of food. We were both glowing. One was the gyro I had ordered and the other was a mix of some of the most delicious beans I have ever had along with a salad, a roasted pepper and pickled vegetables. The portions were huge, but more importantly delicious. Food like this could only be made by someone who loves feeding people which I believe Chef Elmy does. I cannot wait to come back and try more of the menu.

From the very beginning, we were welcomed with bowls of soup as soon as we approached the truck. We were asked if we had any restrictions or preferences, and Chef Elmy cooked us a personalized meal. Note that everything is made-to-order so be prepared to wait a little - but for his cooking, anything is worth it. We were handed two gorgeous generously filled plates that could feed a family of 6! He also gave us bottles of water to keep us hydrated. The plate consisted of two wraps, chicken and kofta, with a couple of sides. We were not sure what the sides were (besides the delicious corn that was crusted and seasoned beautifully) but everything had us smacking our lips, especially the fried one. The food was intentional and made with so much love and care, something that is so rare to find nowadays. A real hidden gem and they deserve all the support! We cannot wait to return to try all the other food and specials Chef Elmy has to offer. Thank you for an outstanding and delicious lunch (and dinner)!

Rebecca was running the truck with her husband, and they were warm, friendly, and hard-working. That same care reflected in the food. Comforting flavors, big portions, and just what we needed. ---- Food ---- The hot dogs here are big, delicious, and fantastic value for the price. Wushu Dog: Loved this one. Inventive and delicious. Great texture, topped with pork sung and crispy cabbage, plus katsu sauce and Japanese mayo. Savory, crunchy, and satisfying. Sumo Dog: Japanese curry beef chili with cheese and fresh scallions. Hearty, comforting, and perfect for that chilly evening. Fried Foods: We didn't try, any but they serve fries and potstickers too. The fries seemed to be a crowd favorite at Great Notion Brewery next door (which is partnered with Dojo Dog). Definitely getting them next time. Rebecca told me she enjoys experimenting with new dishes, and the creativity shows. Looking forward to trying more! ---- Drinks ---- We didn't but drinks as we were enjoying beer at Great Notion, but Dojo Dog also offer drinks like milk tea. ---- Bonus ---- As I mentioned, they partner with Great Notion, one of our FAVORITE bars in the Bay with the best smoothie beers and stouts. You can bring your Dojo Dog inside and pair it with their awesome beers. Inventive hot dogs + beer = awesome evening ---- Vibe ---- Cute little food truck, family-run charm, friendly service, and an endearing hole-in-the-wall feel. The whole setup feels local and community-driven. In fact, it was originally created by Berkeley students. Very cool. ---- Overall ---- Amazing hot dogs, great beer next door, friendly owners, inventive sides, and a fun, low-key vibe. It will hit the spot every time. Can't wait to come back and try more from their menu!

What a yummy find! I…read morewas craving Nepalese food & was happy to find plenty of options around El Cerrito. I thought they might be closed because the front gate is closed, but if the side gate through the parking lot is open, it's open. They have a nice big open lot with tables to eat, and an inside tent as well. They were closing a little early for another event, so I waited about 15 minutes to get takeout and took it to a nearby park. The Chatamari is a great gluten-free option with its rice dough, I wasn't sure if it would be enough for a meal but it was plenty for $12! Topped with minced chicken, egg & a ton of spice, this place is not dialing down the spice for 'American' palates. Like a 'pizza' the rice dough is nice and chewy, but doesn't make you feel too stuffed. I want to go back and try the Bala made with lentils, and the Yomari dessert. The momo have a nice strong wrapper (hate it when those fall apart), good size with 8 for $12, they gave me half veggie & meat, thank you! The $5 mango lassi was delish, very yogurt-y, not enough of it to keep up with all the spice in my meal though. With its reasonable prices & good portions, it's a great option nearby for a tasty lunch or dinner.

Located next to the Peppermint Tree Plaza, MOMOlicious offers authentic Nepali bites in casual fashion. We ordered the Ultimate Jhol Mo:mo (steamed momo) served in a classic soup made from sesame seeds, tomato, cilantro, and soybean. We chose chicken. We also ordered the Nepali Chowmein with chicken as well. Loved the unique flavors, the textures, and exploration of this culinary cuisine. The owner came over and chatted with us about the menu and future of the space. Earlier in the day they brought mini ponies for the kiddos to ride! Very much looking forward to bringing our friends back here as the weather is getting better for corn hole and outdoor entertainment.
