The other 4 hotels we had reservations at were Very understanding with empathy for our situation & waved our reservations because we had to head home since I couldn't put any weight on my leg. When we phoned the Rustic Inn starting on Thursday, they were very Unsympathetic to my situation. I phoned again the next day again and spoke with Jacob, & after a very long back & forth negative conversation, Jacob agreed that he would honor our reservation with-in a year. It took us 3 days to get back home, when I phoned Rustic Inn to speak to Jacob to give him the dates for us to reschedule, he put me on hold & never came back to our phone call. Wyatt came on the phone & said he was aware of our situation & that they "Were Not" going to honor any rescheduling of our reservation. They told me that I only had 2 days to let them know, Which is completely Untrue. This place RUSTIC INN in Jackson Hole should be ashamed at the way they treat people. At $659.00 a night don't expect Good customer service as you Will Not get it at Rustic Inn. We recommend The Lodge at Jackson Hole, Unbelievable Great customer service, they fit us in for 1 night before our flight with my injury & treated us like Gold!

We've never had elk so we didn't know what to expect, but it was SO good. Not gamey and great flavor. Our server was knowledgeable , respectful, and made our dining experience great. We heard at least 4 of the tables around us speak very highly of their meals, so that is indicative of the quality of the food. Give it a try!

I sent it back and got back mashed potatoes that were hot, meat at room temp. (Both times I ordered brisket and pulled pork). Second time I got French fries as the side - and that's the only thing that was hot. The brisket is dry, and the pulled pork is just "meh". Having it "room temperature" (at best) makes it just gross.
