The food; breakfast, and the seven course dinner was delicious. From presentation to taste we left satisfied and nourished. Coffee/tea and danish delivery to our door every morning was every mom's dream ‍. The owners were engaging and clearly love what they do. The restaurant staff and Innkeeper were friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with a pool area that instantly transported us to Tuscany. There were plenty of loungers for relaxing by the sparkling swimming pool, plus a generously sized hot tub to unwind in. The staff truly elevated our stay -- warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. A special shoutout to Rosalina, who was an absolute gem. She made us feel so welcome and even surprised us with a homemade tres leches cake to celebrate one of our friend's birthdays. That personal touch meant the world. We dined at the property one evening; the meal was enjoyable, though not quite exceptional. Still, the ambiance of the mansion more than made up for it. Located about 20 minutes outside downtown Walla Walla, Cameo Heights offers a peaceful retreat -- serene, secluded, and blissfully quiet. The only trade-off is the drive to and from wine tastings, which can feel a bit long at times. But once you're back, it's pure tranquility.

Loved the shampoo, conditioner and lotion! The breakfast! Tim (owner) is a fantastic cook! Each night we would place an order for what we wanted for breakfast the next day! You will need to drive to the estate wineries - but exploring Main street is a FLIPPIN' BLAST- especially on bikes! Penny is a delight! She is so knowledgable about where to go and knows everyone in town. She is so thoughtful and has thought of every detail for her guests. Her bathroom is stocked with beautiful lavendar bath salts and lotions! The place smells like fresh baked cookies, probably because she just baked them! She has coffee service set out and her etiquite is from the 'good ol' days' so you feel kinda spoiled using a teacup with a nice little spoon to stir your milk that you have poured from a petite milk creamer jar. Penny takes care of the entire place and you can tell she puts her heart into it. Penny cooks a lavish breakfast every morning. Save up your calories for her breakfast. Her beds and bedding are very comfortable....and so so much lovelier than staying at a hotel. My husband and I have come to love Penny and have been staying there for three years. The room where we stayed was very comfortable and had an awesome claw-footed bathtub. There were bicycles available, which we unfortunately didn't take advantage of during our stay. Every morning, we were served an amazing homemade breakfast (usually involving fresh fruit) on gorgeous china by the innkeeper, Penny, who is also one of the sweetest women you'll ever meet. If you're looking for a relaxing weekend or mini-vacation, I highly recommend checking out the Maxwell House!

It's about a 15 minute drive from downtown Walla Walla and its nestled in a very pristine setting between the Walla Walla and little Walla Walla rivers. Karrie, the owner, innkeeper extraordinaire, chef, driver, travel agent, and woman known about town, must have spent no fewer than 40 hours planning and taking care of us. She booked us in the LV suite with fine linens, pillows, towels, robes, and bath products surrounded by tasteful antiques and a balcony looking over some of her gardens. The quiet and romantic setting created a perfect getaway for us. We enjoyed breakfast on the front porch with fresh-pressed coffee, homemade local berry scones. In four wonderful days, Karrie introduced us to each of the 6 wine regions! Just off the plan in Walla Walla, we started in the Airport District. The GG is a short walk from the Downtown District where we dined each evening in a gastronomic delight of restaurants and flavors and wines of course. Karrie packed lunches for us with private reservations of some of the finest wineries. We experienced the regional "terroirs" of the Districts in the Westside, Southside, the Rocks of Milton-Freewater AVA in Oregon, and finally on the Westside before heading back to the airport. She privately engaged us with local artists and the winemakers with private tours. This may sound busy, but the experience was relaxing and memorable. Walla Walla is a must for wine lovers, but Karrie made all the difference in creating a tailor-made holiday for us Texans! Patrick Choosing to stay at the GG netted us a highly personalized first visit to Walla Walla. We arrived at peak cherry season the weekend of July 4th. Cherry trees surround the beautiful shared outdoor patio, ripe cherries covered the trees and were falling to the ground. Can one eat too many cherries? What is too many? Did I spoil my dinner? Yes! The Orchard Chalet is the bottom floor of the owners house. It is a 2 bed, 2 bath, living room with reasonably comfortable sleeper sofa, wood pellet stove, dining room & full kitchen. It has been a while since its last remodel, but it is comfortable and perfect for families. Its dedicated, semi-enclosed, outdoor covered patio provides plenty of space to spread out and relax. Our parents and children enjoyed their stay in the Orchard Chalet. We were able to comfortably entertain a couple families that stopped by to say hello. A building behind the main home is split into 2 units, the Sunrise and Santina Chalets. I stayed in the Santina Chalet which is freshly remodeled in a modern styling - highly recommended for couples wanting a romantic getaway! The bathroom has a spacious shower and soaking tub. Its backdoor opens to a deck overlooking the cherry orchard. Look for my pictures. The owners were very friendly, but sadly they were heading out of town so we missed out on the breakfast that others rave about. Will we return? YES!
