Love all the decor and products. - Some rooms have patios. - Lovely and pleasant staff. - Morning breakfast. - Peaceful location. - Great surrounding views. - Tasty food at the restaurant with an ample selection of local wines. - Private - Pool & yard games. Cons: - Secluded. You aren't walking anywhere nearby except the vineyards or to a nearby residence. - Expensive. - No gym. - No real sit down bar or tv's - Other than the restaurant, pool and paddling the storm drain, there isn't much to do on property. It's worth visiting if you're more into relaxing. I would personally rather stay closer to downtown Walla because I like to walk around and adventure. I did feel the rooms were overpriced, but at least there was a nice breakfast in the morning made from scratch! read more

We loved this place! It's a small resort in a beautiful, remote setting. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Other reviews mention the minimal staff - I considered that a plus. We felt like we had the place almost to ourselves and enjoyed the serene quiet and privacy. The room was very well designed and exceptionally clean. Wonderful service! My mom is in a wheelchair and we were there for a Valentine's dinner. We were given great seating, a lot of personalized attention, and just had a lovely evening with delicious food. When I commented on the fun little table lamps, they went to find the vendor link so I could order some of my own. We love this place! read more

Just passed the Penitentiary, through the golden wheat fields, you come across an unassuming resort that resembles a Visitor's Center or small casino. For $500 bucks a night we had a great view of the parking lot and some distant Silos. We made our way to the pool,.... for some relaxation and.. it was closed for maintenance. Sauna, spa, or Jacuuzi? No. The pond / slash man-made lake / lagoon, resembles a Manure managing pond found at local dairies. But you can sign your life away and access their paddle boards to go in tight little circles around it. They had mountain bikes up front, but no one told us where we could go on those. Beautiful dinning room and bar, but those were closed as well (Early August). One staff member on site making his rounds the best that he could, going from the check-in area, to the bar, to different parts of the facility, trying the best that he could to be a good host. He wore many hats; wine tasting expert, yoga instructor, masseur perhaps. And at 20 years old he probably had mastered every technique. But he didn't really seem like he wanted to be there. I could go on and on, but this was a huge disappointment to us. We had normal expectations but should have read the reviews. Landscaping needs work, someone needs to be answering the phone and they also would benefit (we would benefit) by having a Business Center. I typically need to step away to make a call or send an email. But there is really nowhere you can go to take care of quick business. Apparently they have two wineries associated with this resort (Shouldn't be called a resort) but no one puts a drink in your hand and highlights the wines. Literally have had better stays at Best Western, etc. Definitely much better welcoming at Hyatt, Radisson, etc. There is no catering-to here. There is no warm, welcoming feeling. There is a cluster of nice rancher style homes a block or two away, and we joked that we should have brought our camper and just hung out in that neighborhood. Or camped at the twin Silos. We vacation and travel a lot. But I was very upset as you can tell. Apparently this place opened in 2018 and I highly doubt we will see this place around in a few years if some big changes aren't made. Staff is very over worked. We were helping set the table for our own breakfast and helping clean up. We felt like an imposition, but only because they were stressed. read more

Came here for thanksgiving dinner. Paid $65 dollars per plate. It was all cold. The turkey was cut up into chunks for the table to share. Turkey nugget style. We had to agree on 3 sides to share among 6 people. No salad, no rolls, no drinks, no dessert. Originally they didn't even bring out the "Yukon puree". We had to ask and they seemed put out that we wanted that. The gravy was honestly 1 cup total for all 6 of us. We asked for salt and pepper that they brought out in salad bowls. Serving utensils were an after thought and still short in number. The dressing was 3/4 crouton crunch. We had to pay 20 deposit per plate that was then added to the wrong check. We came here because in years past it has been fantastic. Unfortunately this was my first year. The waitress didn't come back to refill waters and only offered to comp sub par dessert after she asked my date how the meal was. Not to mention it took 20 minutes for them to take our beverage order. At least we brought amazing company to spend the 2 hour with (no we did not linger). And yes the dessert, which should have been warm, was cold as well. Cheers to good story and thanksgiving dinner somewhere else next year. read more

We decided to splurge for our 25th anniversary and stay here. When we arrived we were greeted wit ta very friendly young man. We were given a quick tour and given a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine in celebration of our anniversary, which was in our room. The room was very clean and there were a small box of chocolates on our bed from a local candy store (Bright's Candies (go check them out)). We didn't eat at the restaurant for dinner but had the breakfast for one day of our 3 day stay. It was fine but definitely would need to eat something else due to the small portion. It would be nice if they offered a little more like pastries or toast in addition to the small omelet. My wife had the oatmeal which had about 5 blue berries on top. We also did have a cocktail in the evening and it was okay, not very strong and felt a little watered down (about $14 each). The area is lovely and the man made pond is lovely to watch as you sit on the deck. There are kayaks and paddle boards if you want to use, we didn't use them. We stay right next to the water. The big downfall with that was the frogs in the pond. It happened to be mating season, so the frogs were pretty noisy through out the night with their mating calls. I used earplugs and my wife had a sound machine going to attempt to block the noise. Which helped a little, but we would not stay there again because of that. They need to do something about it. The coffee in the room was good (Nespresso pods). There is a wine fridge to keep beverages cold. No microwave or any other items like that. We at at several restaurants in Walla Walla. One that stood out was The Green Lantern, it is pub food but is very good. Check out my review of that. It was so good, we ate there twice during our stay. TMAC's is overrated and the food wasn't that good. Would we stay there again? With the frogs, no. Without the frogs, maybe but the prices did seem high. Hope this helps. read more

So much potential...a small property with well-appointed rooms and sweet views nestled in the rolling fields just outside of Walla Walla. Skip the property's restaurant and dine in the myriad higher-quality restaurants in Walla Walla--better food, better service, better value. Breakfast is included with rooms. We enjoyed their limited offerings one day, but would recommend Bacon and Eggs for breakfast in town or Maple Counter Cafe. Staffing and price are the basis for the 3-star rating. Don't mind paying for higher-quality service, in fact, we prefer that. However, staffing here is incredibly-limited. Nobody greets you when you come and go. Everyone seems more content to just hang out in back by the fire pit and seems surprised when you return for the evening to your room--"do they need something? Oh, good, they don't...". Employee attire was sloppy and inconsistent. Managers and owners are clearly not around most of the time. If you are going to operate a quality boutique property, you (or your manager) need to show up, all-day, every day. Recommend that the owners install peep holes in the room doors. We had a stranger knocking lightly on our door in the middle of the night and no way to look to see who they were--they must have had the wrong room? Also, while there are deadbolt locks, there are no inside door stops to add to the door locks (as you would expect at a higher-quality property). Quiet, bucolic, a good spot for a professional retreat or family holiday. They need to drop their prices by about 30%, or up their service game, significantly. read more

You know it's an iffy business when the owner lives in California, has no telephone number listed, and only goes by his first name (John). I have since booked into the Marcus Whitman Hotel after having a great conversation with their front desk manager, Jonathan. BTW, I had also left an email message on the 9th that has yet to be answered. Nice property. Terrible customer service. Absentee owner. They won't be getting a dime from me. read more

My husband and I were excited to experience this property for a birthday celebration weekend. The mattress was shot. A huge divot that made it impossible to sleep on 50% of the bed. Restaurant was mediocre. Paid an exorbitant amount to stay here and it was a huge waste. And to top it all off, I left my pillow and when I called the front desk refused to help. They said I should just wait for the cleaning staff to contact me...wouldn't take my name or number. Never heard back. read more

We came here for our anniversary. Our confirmation e-mail stated check in began at 3pm. We arrived at the resort around 2:40pm and were told our room would be ready shortly. We waited outside in the 106 degree weather. Around 3:15 my husband went in to check on the status of our room and was told it would be another hour and that check in wasn't until 4pm. I then searched my e-mails and pulled up our confirmation showing a 3pm check-in and went back in to let them know. They apologized for the confusion but with COVID it took longer to clean the rooms and they thought they had updated the time. We requested a cooler place to sit and wait and were shown into the lounge by Abbey. It was now 4pm and we saw person after person get checked in and shown to their rooms or bungalow. At 4:15 my husband went to the bar to try to get us a drink but we were told it didn't open until 5:30. A women came over with bottles of pre made cocktails and offered us those since the bar was closed. We accepted and assumed they would be complimentary since we had been waiting so long. Once poured she said she could charge them to our room. These pre-made cocktails were $18, each. At 4:45 I had enough and went back into the office and asked on the status of our room. We were told it had been ready and she thought abbey had come to get us. Then abbey walked in and said no I thought you got them. So regardless we waited over 2 hours to get into our room with no effort trying to make it right. Upon getting into our bungalow we were greeted with a card on our bed for another couple celebrating their 17 year anniversary.. I called the front desk to cancel our dinner reservation for that evening and to let them know they gave the wrong card to us. Not a big deal but with everything it was annoying. Our bed spread had dirty marks on it, there was a dried booger on the bathroom wall. This place is charging way to much per night offering little amenities, no robes in the room, no microwave, no room service. If this was $89 a night at a best western in would be a 4 star. This place is nothing special and staff are less than helpful and have no care about genuine guest service. I checked out this morning and walked into the office to see a woman showing the front desk girl something on her phone, I was not greeted by either or acknowledged until I said I was checking out. We will not be back and would not recommend. The resort itself is very pretty and quite, but not worth the price. I can stay at the four seasons for less and receive exceptional service. read more

A well run friendly and well designed resort, all the amenities were well thought out and the staff was excellent, the food was first rate, and the rooms and resort were very clean. The best thing about this for us was their ability to make a very professional resort feel like you are staying at a wealthy friends home, where the 'rules' are about making you comfortable and feel at home. The chef was excellent, friendly, and came to our table mid meal to see how we were enjoying our steaks, which we were. This is a very luxurious, spa like environment, and an excellent choice for couples visiting Walla Walla. read more

This was the perfect weekend mid-September get-away! The property is breathtaking and a reflection of the stunning rich Ag land with acres of vineyards in the backyard. Our room was luxurious with great spa products. The food was beautiful farm to table. We had the tomahawk Ribeye for two one night with a big bold red that was the perfect finish. Just returned from a fabulous dinner at Eritage prepared by the talented Chef Brian Price. Chef Price's skills using a wood fired grill to prepare Alaska halibut is a must to enjoy. I would have given it five stars but feel that the ambiance in the dinning room could use some improvement. We found it to be cold and harsh rather than warm and inviting. With some softening etc. it would be five star for sure. That said my hat is off to Chef Brian Price, a real talent. read more

Had a fantastic stay at Eritage Resort. I was a long time resident of Walla Walla, but had moved away. I returned to see family and was looking for someplace new to stay when I found the Eritage Resort. It's a perfect distance outside of Walla Walla, about 12 minute drive. My wife and I stayed in a bungalow right off the water front and my view was fantastic. The patio also served as a great star gazing spot at night. The food was always great and the staff very friendly. Every time we returned to our room we found the staff left us a small gift or tasty treat. If you want a place to relax and feel pampered I definitely suggest staying at the Eritage Resort and if you can't stay, definitely head out to have a bite to eat at their restaurant! This is going to be my new go to place when I visit Walla Walla. read more

There are only few times when I would rate any restaurant, and my experience was horrible! I had a reservation at 7:15, got seated at 8:15. I would have left had I had my own car but I used Uber to get there. The food was mediocre at best, wait staff tried to make up for the shit show, but there was no way to make up from the start. Do not waste your time at the establishment, very disappointed! Only good comment is from meeting Dave and Scott in the waiting area, happy Anniversary to you both! read more
