We went here to wine taste and it was just disappointing. They called us to see if we would come early, which we couldn't because we had another reservation. They close at 4pm, which is when our reservation was, so it seemed like they were trying to get he to come in earlier so they could close up. Then when we got there the service was so poor. It was so slow, the server poured us the wrong wines, or come with an empty bottle thinking there was some in it, told us nothing about what we were drinking, and wasn't all that friendly. We also ordered a charcuterie plate. DONT DO IT. It's a waste of money. It's basically Oscar Mayer deli meat (that was gross), some soft almonds, stale crackers, dried berries, and cheese. It was sad. We won't be going back, unfortunately. It wasn't worth the time or money. I will say the grounds and building were beautiful, but the wine, food and experience disappointing.

Yellowhawk has a nice selection of bubbles with two flights offered. We selected one of each to try them all. Great service. Nice views. Good wines Use our Reveler's club benefits during our visit.

Beautiful resort and event center...host to the annual Shindig (local community fundraiser)...great food, wine and atmosphere. This event raised over $200,000 for local programs like FFA, 4-H and the Community College.

Roxy is absolutely incredible. She is kind and very knowledgeable about the product. The views are absolutely phenomenal. The patio is beautiful and well maintained. This would be a lovely place for a wedding. Somebody give Roxy a tip and or raise she's the resident expert!!

I came early on a Sunday by myself and had a great experience! The person working in the tasting room was very kind and accommodating and did a great job explaining all the wines and was kind enough to offer me an additional pour to try that wasn't on the flight menu. They specialize in sparkling wines and I had a white, rose, and red and then a sparkling sémillon. I believe they serve food on Fridays and Saturdays in the tasting room and then have charcuterie available on Thursdays and Sundays. The space was beautiful- it was formally Basel Cellars before becoming the Yellowhawk Resort. I am looking forward to returning with a group on a Friday or Saturday and seeing other parts of the resort- but I highly recommend solo travelers stop by for a visit as well!

Love the still Rosé! My husband was happy to end our day at a place that had beer, burgers and views.

Decent wine but absolute buffoons when it comes to the bill. It was on us to calculate the bill. Clowns without the car.

The place itself is an up-cycled old motel - the design is pleasing and usable and there's lots of unique touches that are fun to explore. We liked the free parking and friendly staff, and also enjoyed the design of the king rooms. They offer local wine at check-in which is a nice touch. The only downside is the street noise and noise from other rooms is loud and distracting. Would love a bit of sound proofing, but people aren't usually in Walla Walla to sleep.

Marketing photos seemed a bit deceptive here- it really is just a decorated motel. Not even night stands in the room, which was pretty annoying trying to fumble just to set phone on the silly small platform in the dark. For something branding so hipster I expected more USB ports than average, not less. I think we expected more amenities here, but they didn't even put the popcorn machine in the lobby to use! Shouldn't be in photos if you don't actually offer it. The art gallery looked like a conference room with a couple pieces on the walls. Some review mentions wine, we got no such thing.. The lobby tea looked fancy but coffee was very much standard weak unimpressive coffee. No view, not right on the restaurant strip.. So why the high price? The bathroom door painting was interesting to look at, if confusing, and the soap stuffs is strong essential oil smelly stuff like you'd find at a spa, for better or worse. No in room coffee or luggage rack. Hipster isn't the same as 'college student who can't afford furniture'..bending over for floor luggage is... Not what I want in a room. The bed was comfy though, and the room looked clean, even if there was a funny smell.

Karrie, the owner, innkeeper extraordinaire, chef, driver, travel agent, and woman known about town, must have spent no fewer than 40 hours planning and taking care of us. She booked us in the LV suite with fine linens, pillows, towels, robes, and bath products surrounded by tasteful antiques and a balcony looking over some of her gardens. The quiet and romantic setting created a perfect getaway for us. We enjoyed breakfast on the front porch with fresh-pressed coffee, homemade local berry scones. In four wonderful days, Karrie introduced us to each of the 6 wine regions! Just off the plan in Walla Walla, we started in the Airport District. The GG is a short walk from the Downtown District where we dined each evening in a gastronomic delight of restaurants and flavors and wines of course. Karrie packed lunches for us with private reservations of some of the finest wineries. We experienced the regional "terroirs" of the Districts in the Westside, Southside, the Rocks of Milton-Freewater AVA in Oregon, and finally on the Westside before heading back to the airport. She privately engaged us with local artists and the winemakers with private tours. This may sound busy, but the experience was relaxing and memorable. Walla Walla is a must for wine lovers, but Karrie made all the difference in creating a tailor-made holiday for us Texans! Patrick Choosing to stay at the GG netted us a highly personalized first visit to Walla Walla. Karrie went to great lengths to ensure our experience was superiorly comfortable and she homed in on our preferences and desires to elevate and enhance our "jouissance" in delectable wines and exceptional dining experiences. The home, nestled on a shady tree-lined street, beckoned for strolls after breakfast or a quick walk to town to visit Walla Walla's finest shops. La vie est bonne! Lily

Walla Walla is beautiful wine country but still very much a small town. There is not really a full service hotel here except for the Marcus Whitman which was sold out. After a bad pre arrival experience with the Courtyard by Marriott we chose the Hampton because it is pet friendly. It is a little farther from the action, about a seven minute drive to Main Street where most of the tasting rooms, shops and restaurants are, but you need to drive to most wineries and activities anyway so it is not a bad location at all. Service here was excellent. When my husband did not like the first room we were given they moved us to a suite and that was definitely the right call for the extra space with the dogs. They were also very responsive. We had an issue with our AC which is a must have in the summer and they stopped by a couple of times to make sure it was working right. That kind of follow up really stood out. This place is very dog friendly. The dogs got treats at check in and they were able to put us on the first floor near an exit for quick trips outside. There is even a huge off leash dog park right across the street which was a big bonus. It is newly renovated and feels fresh. The area seemed safe and we left our car in the open lot without any problems. The amenities include an outdoor pool, a nice fitness center which I used every day, and the classic Hampton breakfast that in my opinion is better than Courtyard, Fairfield Inn, or SpringHill Suites breakfasts. We stayed for a week, part work and part vacation, the days I had to work I had zero issues with wifi, and for a limited service property it really does have a full service feel. I would happily come back if I ever made the long drive to Walla Walla again, though that is a big if.
