She picked us up from our hotel in her Toyota Highlander, by us I mean myself, my wife and our 70 pound Goldendoodle. She packed a cooler of water for us and provided water for our dog. We requested to go to primarily dog friendly wineries and she was able to accommodate this request. We really wanted to enjoy ourselves and not have to worry about where to go next or how to get there responsibly, Sharon took care of it. When we go back to Walla Walla we will certainly give Sharon a call.

My fiance and I lived in Portland, Oregon when we decided to marry in Walla Walla, and we were so lucky to find Sharon via a google search. I produce events as part of my marketing job, so I was happy to do most of the planning, and just needed a reliable and affordable day-of coordinator. Sharon was an absolute joy to work with! She is professional, communicative, experienced and very fun to be around. The wedding was as smooth as I had imagined it could be, thanks to Sharon and her ability to work so well with our DJ, photographer, caterer and venue contact. As soon as we met her for the walk-through of the venue (two months before the wedding), I knew we were in very good hands and in the presence of a kind and genuine person. She also knows the Walla Walla market well, and has great relationships with caterers and venues; if we would have needed a full-service coordinator, I would have hired her in a heartbeat. And if I ever had to plan any sort of corporate event, family reunion, etc in Walla Walla, I would certainly call Sharon. I wish I could add more than 5 stars, because Sharon is amazing!

When we started seeing some crazy and chaos surrounding our wedding, she was right there to work with us and offer solutions. She totally went above and beyond sourcing the flowers I had dreamed of. I wish I had the words to describe how relieved I am to have picked Chandra to be my florist. My wedding day was more beautiful than I ever could have imagined and that is because Chandra went above and beyond for us. She is for sure, our go to flower gal!

I had already spoken to several other florists, but as soon as I talked to Chandra, I knew she was the right choice. Take a look at her work - it truly speaks for itself! Chandra isn't just some minion at a big flower shop, she puts her heart and soul into her work and it shows. Not only is her work amazing, she knows how to adapt to fit a budget while still making stunning arrangements. She is creative, positive, professional and an excellent communicator for her clients. If you want cookie-cutter, ho-hum arrangements, there are plenty of other florists out there, but if you want something creative, fresh, and gorgeous, you want Chandra of Simpified Celebrations. Wonder inspiring historic building that has been transformed into a uniquely intimate theater…read more I have watched a rock production two years in a row, and have LOVED our balcony seats. Every seat in the house looks to be great, next time I will buy floor seats to confirm. (well technically, it was a gas plant first, but then began to sing the body electric in 1905). :::: Fast-forward: 2011 :::: This is when this art decco powerhouse transformed to a stylish playhouse in the style of Shakespeare. This theater had been on my radar for the last couple of years, and my timing just never worked out for venturing down to the hills of wine and to make a visit to the theater....until Winter 2012. On a blustery cold evening, I needed to make a trip down to Walla Walla. I made myself go. I had to. NPR advertised about the Power House's production of "It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play!", for weeks, and I was intrigued and pulled Walla Walla-ward. I was interested by the production, but I was also looking for an excuse to case the joint! ;) I love old theaters (especially if they've been renovated Gangnam Style...sorry, just wanted to say that phrase...not sure who reads these reviews all the way anyway!) ;) The renovation, I believe, is still a work in progress. I heard they are still working on the roof...and the audience & actors noticed this throughout the evening as the winds howled and banged on what seemed like only a tin roof. (A member of the staff came upstairs to the balcony and offered seats downstairs to us if we were too cold. I didn't mind, but some took him up on his offer---I wanted the full environmental experience! I wanted the chance to tell stories about way back in the olden days when I went to the Powerhouse to see a play, and how the roof almost blew off!) Other than the roof, the facility is top notch. (well, I think the roof adds character along with the expose brick, too). From the lobby, stage, seating, to restrooms, the facility is updated with modernity. And that's what I like. The duality of a renovated structure is attractive. I can't wait to come back for a Shakespearean or modern play. You'll find me looking for excuses to come here again, and again---look for me in the balcony!
