The property is not accessible. It is unfortunate when a business intentionally excludes a whole group of people. The rooms are not safe. There is no way to lock the room exclusively from the inside. This was a great alternative to an air bnb or a regular hotel. The room was cute, clean and comfortable. Came with a complimentary bottle of wine. Check in was easy, with the ability to check in without contact. The outdoor space was wonderful and I loved that they had two separate hot tub areas so we didn't even see other guests hanging out in common areas. Super private and posh. This was our first time staying in Walla Walla en route to City of Rocks and The Wesley was the perfect place to stay to explore local wineries, restaurants and music. Everything is just a few steps away! The Wesley is similar to an AirBnB, yet each room has it's own bathroom with chic common areas on the main floor. The home itself is stunning - with expansive ceilings, marble floors and a modern/hip vibe throughout. There are areas to hang out and relax outside as well. Some areas outside are still under construction so I'd love to come back and visit and see what it looks like finished! We stayed in a Deluxe King Suite and it was very spacious and comfortable. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in and A/C kept the room cool. This is a great place to stay if you are passing through the area or would also make a great place to rent out the entire house for a family reunion or wedding! This is one of the coolest boutique hotels I've ever stayed in. We've been to Walla Walla three times in the past 12 months, and this is the place we've stayed all three times. The rooms are inspiringly well designed and each one is unique, making it fun to stay at the same place with a different feel each time. The grounds are beautiful, with cozy cabana's, BBQ area, a massive Jacuzzi, and a "cowboy pool" - perfect to quickly cool off then go back to lounging under the covered areas on the patio. Very easy walking distance to wineries and shopping and the fantastic restaurants in the area. My personal favorite and completely unexpected surprise-find is the slightly hidden "Luca Lounge" in the basement! Such a fun little spot to hang out after a day of wine tasting with friends and makes you feel like you're in a modern era speakeasy. I cannot give a higher compliment to the hosts or the hotel, and we cannot wait to go back again soon! read more

Wow! We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting family in the area and were blown away at how nice this place was. It feels like the owners have thought of literally everything and go out of their way to give you a unique experience. The decor alone makes you feel like you just walked on to the set of The Great Gatsby. The room (1b) was spacious and outfitted with all the basics and then some. The bed was comfortable, the linens were very high quality, and the bathroom setup was good. We brought our infant daughter and that was fine but I'm not sure that I would bring a toddler here simply because it's not exactly childproof. Our only complaint was that the shower head could have been better. We were going to stay the Marcus Whitman but decided to try this place out on a whim and loved it. The rooms were similarly priced and this place has a much finer touch with the guest's experience in mind. This will be our go-to from here on out! PS. I don't review a lot of places but I decided to review this one because it was that good and I really hope they stay in business so I can come back again. Also, I read the negative reviews and felt like they were grossly over exaggerated and written by the classic "Karen" types that just get riled up over nothing. We stayed in the first floor and didn't hear a peep from upstairs. The service had great communication and did what they could to accommodate our needs. read more

The noisiest place I have ever stayed. Yep. I should have been warned when there were ear plugs in the room. But, then the people in the room upstairs started walking around. It's like a herd of cattle staying in the room above. You can hear every step amplified by the creak of the old floors. Heaven help ya if they happen to be wearing shoes Add to it the A;C isn't adequate for the room and you get a not so nice stay, The room is big, it's close to downtown. But this will not be a place I would want to stay again Oh, one more, Not that TV is a reason to stay, but we like to relax and watch it before going to sleep. Instead of cancel, they have a ROKU set up. And win the hotel is full, the band with isn't sufficient to runs the tv. read more

This place is amazing. I will stay again. A corporate hotel does not compare. The Wesley feels like home, beautifully and stylishly decorated. From the interior design to the trash cans, everything is high end. I stayed in a King room. The bed is very comfortable and the linens were so soft, I slept hard for the first time in a month. Usually I'm excited to get out of my hotel room and explore, here I was kind of excited to take my time and enjoy the French press coffee while sitting on the couch in such an aesthetic pleasing room. My husband and I just spent a beautiful long weekend with friends at The Wesley. It was our second time staying at this property in the last 12 months, and we couldn't recommend it more. The attention to detail and obvious care put into the setup of both the rooms and the commons spaces is amazing. The guest rooms are spacious, and well equipped (we've stayed in both a single suite, and a two bedroom suite with full kitchen), and there is staff on site at all times during the day in case you need anything. The outdoor spaces are also incredible. There are areas to bask in the sun, and plenty of areas to enjoy the beautiful space in the shade. We also used both the massive hot tub, and the "cowboy pool," and both are fantastic. Thanks for a great weekend! We'll definitely be back! read more

By far the best place to stay in walla walla. Customer service is on point. No reception desk, but between the communication with one of the owners via phone and housekeeping nothing is missed or wanted past a simple ask. You're welcomed with a bottle of chilled wine along with 5 free wine tastings at some of the best wineries in town. Our room and few other are dog friendly and the staff spoiled our dog as well as us. The decor and community spaces flow from outside with a huge entertainment area for several groups to inside with ample ice machines and self service beverages. The basement even has a super chill space for entertaining as well. Such a wonderful place. read more

I wish I could give this more stars! The room was spacious, ever so coolly decorated and super clean. The outdoor spaces were welcoming; a great area to hang out for sips or a dip in the hot tub. You cannot beat the location! The proximity to downtown made it all the better; just a block away from a ton of fun experiences (restaurants, shopping, wine tasting, etc.). Above all was the service. While not a traditional "front desk" hotel experience, there was not a need, ask or want that went unmet. The staff was lightning fast to respond and so friendly. I cannot wait to go back! read more

We booked 2 rooms here the previous weekend. There were forest fire and the air quality was hazardous. The manager/owner would not pick up my call and would only respond to me in text. They have a cancelation policy but all the wineries were closing, with local businesses. As well, the visibility to drive in the thick smoke was a danger. Spending 4.5 hours in a car breathing hazardous smoke is a concern. We requested to shift to non peak time in November and they refused to let us reserve more than 48 hours in advance, but we need time off. They are charging less for the rooms in November, and we are not asking for a credit just the ability to stay. The owner is not flexible nor do they care about people during these wild times. I would not recommend anyone to stay here and would support booking through airbnb where they would address to issues at hand as they've been kind with cancelations. This place sucks with their outdated information on their website. read more

I was really looking forward to a weekend getaway with 4 friends for the first time this year. We had booked 2 rooms at The Wesley, it looked cute enough, and first saw it on AirBNB but decided to book through the business. Well like most of the West Coast we were consumed with wild fire smoke and the air quality was deemed hazardous, too hazardous to even have a window open. Numerous attempts to reach someone at the Wesley about rescheduling all morning before we made the 4.5 hour drive to Walla Walla. Driving conditions were extremely scary and smokey, I checked the highway cameras constantly. The Tesla Wine Tour company we had booked a day with called us around 10am and said all wineries and restaurants were closing and it's not safe to come to Walla Walla right now. Again tried to reach ANYONE at the Wesley. Finally they responsed to a text and would not accommodate the circumstances that were devastating so many people all over the state. we weren't asking for a refund but to just reschedule. They Finally said after November 1st we could schedule anytime. When we tried to book a weekend in November (before it snows and passes again get dangerous) they refused and said it was a holiday. Do you know of any holidays that fall on 11/6? I don't. I would save your money and stay at the Marcus Whitman where the customer service is beyond amazing. They also include breakfast with your stay. I understand that Covid has been tough on everyone but seems as if The Wesley doesn't care about Covid or the earth and how it was on fire or the people losing their homes and business, let alone their clients. read more

This is a superb lodging, one that requires way more than 5 stars!! I stayed in 2A and everything was perfect. There is almost no traffic noise in the front; they have clearly gone to great lengths to soundproof the property from street noise. The bed was comfortable, furnishings were perfect, and the bathroom was so cool with a toilet off the bedroom and then the shower down the little internal "hallway". (All within the room, it's not a shared bathroom). Location is perfect, being 4 minutes from downtown. The property had lots of room to relax, with lounge chairs, pool and hot tub. There was no breakfast, but I don't eat in the morning so I prefer it that way. I loved it and will book this property every time!! Thank you! read more

The location is ideal, a few minutes' walking distance to all the tasting rooms and charming shops and restaurants of downtown. We've stayed in the main house and the 2-bedroom stand-alone place, and I'd highly recommend both! We had plans to stay at The Wesley. Unfortunately like most of the West Coast we were consumed with wild fire smoke and the air quality rose to hazardous levels. Driving conditions were extremely smokey and dangerous. Wineries where I had reservations were calling to inform me that they were closing down. I had a reservation at Hattways and they called to move my reservation because outside seating would not be possible due to the weather conditions. The AQI was over 600. called the Wesly and after talking to their front desk and explaining our situation they would not accommodate what so ever. We weren't asking for a refund but to just reschedule. What were we going to do... stay in our room and stare at each other?! I understand that current world affairs have been tough on everyone, I work with the public and my business was shut down for 3 months... but seems as if The Wesley doesn't care about the natural disasters shutting down the state completely. Unusual and unexpected circumstance should be met with a little grace and understanding. Running a business myself it's always on our best interest to take care of the client... Their experience speaks volumes as to the quality and reputation of a business. I would choose to spend my money elsewhere. They lack compassion and understanding in a world climate where those traits would go a long way! read more
