The mansion itself is gorgeous along with the salt water pool and botanicals. There was an accident that had caused some water to come into the room. Not a big deal to us at all, it was very minor. The owner was so kind and gave us an additional night for free! We got to really enjoy the mansion since we had another night. We took bubble baths, watched movies, played ping pong, and ate dinner at The Vine fine dining restaurant (my review for how amazing it was is separate from this one). We loved how calm and quiet everything was as there were no children allowed either. The wake up service was great AND the coffee was so good which is unheard of at most hotels. ;) Breakfast was indescribable, OMG!!! Top shelf chefs are employed here! Michelle and Jessica were very kind and accommodating during our trip. Overall a much needed stay that was absolutely perfect.

The property is stunning -- each room uniquely styled with international flair, from Italian and Spanish to French and even Dubai-inspired décor. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with a pool area that instantly transported us to Tuscany. There were plenty of loungers for relaxing by the sparkling swimming pool, plus a generously sized hot tub to unwind in. The staff truly elevated our stay -- warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. A special shoutout to Rosalina, who was an absolute gem. She made us feel so welcome and even surprised us with a homemade tres leches cake to celebrate one of our friend's birthdays. That personal touch meant the world. We dined at the property one evening; the meal was enjoyable, though not quite exceptional. Still, the ambiance of the mansion more than made up for it. Located about 20 minutes outside downtown Walla Walla, Cameo Heights offers a peaceful retreat -- serene, secluded, and blissfully quiet. The only trade-off is the drive to and from wine tastings, which can feel a bit long at times. But once you're back, it's pure tranquility.

All the…read morereviews are spot on, and the absolute focus on the smallest of details is what sets this beautiful B&B apart. The level of service began before we even arrived. Detailed emails with recommendations and suggestions for the area (since we had never been to Walla Walla) were so helpful and guided us in our planning. The service just continued as Anand & Naina greeted us with a welcome glass of wine and a personalized tour of their property. They do such an amazing job of incorporating all of their travels and experiences around the world into a beautiful melting pot of décor and cuisine. The entire property is so elegantly classic! Everything is spotless and immaculate, but with with such an ease that you feel right at home. The pool and hot tub were a wonderful refuge and perfectly heated. Our Vinefera suite was beautifully appointed and the custom, hand-painted mural (by Naina) above the bed was stunning! The outdoor shower and zen garden are a MUST to experience. The bed and linens were so comfortable . . . I literally could have stayed for weeks. Our morning breakfasts were nothing short of a delicious 3 course meal . . . literally! An example . . . Greek yogurt fruit parfaits for our opening course, to a veggie frittata for our main, followed by a chocolate bread pudding to finish the experience. Their and their entire staff's love is evident in the food and service they provide. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary on this trip, and Anand and Naina joined in our celebration by surprising us at breakfast (in front of the other guests) with a gift and a special bottle of Bellini on ice from their favorite establishment in Venice, Italy. The genuine thought and care brought tears to my husband and I's eyes! We enjoyed sitting around the firepit at night, sharing one of Anand's favorite bottles of wine, watching the huge moon rise above the pond, and talking of our families . . . connecting like old friends. As we departed, they again personally met to see us off . . . freshly baked cookies in hand for our drive. IT'S IN THE DETAILS, AND ANAND AND NAINA HAVE HEARTS OF GOLD AND KNOW HOW TO HIGHLIGHT THE DETAILS . . . we will return!!!!

We stopped by here on our way back north from a two week vacation camping in the Eastern Sierras…read moreand on the California coast, so a nice clean room with a good bed was certainly in order after tents and cabin mattresses in the days prior. We came on a Saturday and there must have been a bunch of graduations or something because the hotel was packed. We usually get a two queen suite for our family of four but our only option here was a standard king and a sofa bed. No stars removed for that, the room was immaculate, well air conditioned, comfortable and most of all: Quiet. The hotel WiFi offered a solid connection and was easy enough to connect our devices upon arrival and I also got a small discount for signing up for the free Best Western Rewards program. They have a full fitness room with exercise equipment and a small pool, 4 feet at the deep end, in a sauna like room downstairs. The pool ended up being the primary bone of contention as my son is a connoisseur of hotel swimming pools and gave this one a scathing 0 out of 10. The water was too cold and, after hopping in, he severely scraped his shin from knee to ankle (see photos). Added to that, the noise factor in the pool room was perhaps one decibel below an acid trip at the Tet Offensive (1968). Seriously, PTSD inducingly loud in there, and the humid atmosphere only adds to the sensory overload. I lasted about five minutes. As we were walking out of the pool area, I noticed a prominently placed sign advertising a first aid kit available at the front desk, so accidents must be fairly common here. Apart from that, the hotel is in a quiet part of town with plenty of good eats nearby. Whether you're on a McBudget or have no problem forking over $25 for a California Burrito, you can find a wide variety within a 3 to 8 minute drive from the hotel. Parking was ample, if not super close to the building and there are luggage racks available if you're like us and bring the entire Gypsy wagon up to your room. There is coffee, water (hot and cold) and a variety of snacks available in the lobby 24-7. Breakfast (included with stay) includes my all time favorite fixture: The DIY Waffle Station. Get up early to beat the line. So, the missing star is for the pool debacle, but the rest was very solid. Friendly staff, easy to navigate the floor plan, etc. Seating in the breakfast area is extremely limited. I counted four tables with about twelve seats, total, to serve the entire hotel. So, if you're traveling with a big group you might have to do breakfast in shifts. TL;DR Version: Clean, friendly, comfortable and geographically well situated. The pool could cause physical or psychological injury but at least there's a first aid kit? DIY waffles are a win.
