Stayed here with our pup on a road trip. Actually, we were pretty impressed with the room. Spacious…read moreand clean. The mattress probably should have been replaced already, but it wasn't too uncomfortable. The water in the shower was kind of "slimy," and smelled a bit like sulfur. That really would be my only complaint. There was ample room for the dogs to use the restroom and get some exercise. The hotel is located next to some fast food options you can walk to. The complimentary breakfast was really good. They have potatoes, eggs, sausages, biscuits and gravy, all the other items you would expect. Plus an omelette bar. You write down what you want and it is made to order. We both felt like it was a good breakfast as far as hotel breakfast are concerned. Overall, we would recommend this place. The staff was super friendly.

My friend and I took a girls' weekend trip to check out Prosser and attend some wine-centric…read moreevents, and booked the BW because it's within easy walking distance of the wine district. It was a long drive from the big city, but the hotel was easy to find and we were greeted with a friendly smile and got all checked in. While the lobby of the hotel is fairly well decorated and updated, the rooms and hallways looked like something out of a bad 80s (or 90s?) movie? The orange and brown carpeting had almost psychedelic effects (especially after a few glasses of wine). And the room, while large and boasting essential like a microwave, fridge, and coffeemaker, was extremely dated. Everything was clean and comfortable, though, and it seems they've kept things in surprisingly good shape maintenance-wise. The thing that made the BW stand out most was the friendly staff. From the front desk to the housekeeping staff to the very kind ladies who staffed the breakfast area it was all top notch, and it's what would make me return here if I go on another wine trip. Speaking of breakfast, this place has one of the best free breakfasts I've every seen - including not only the usual waffle stand, oatmeal, and baked goods, but a full-service omelette bar and huge selection of dairy-free milk alternatives too. Well done, BW, well done!

A spontaneous drive through the east side and the wind led us here…read more Though visible and right off the freeway, the price point does not see the traffic like the clustered tasting rooms do, which makes it a more tranquil experience without the tourist breeze. Inside is delightfully spacious! Chambered ceilings with walls of barrels for a vintage feel, plenty of room for everyone, tables to accommodate any group. The decor 'pairs' well with the fun flights to make DW a pleasurable tasting experience. Our service was friendly and courteous, respectful to have us enjoy our reservation at our pace. Overall menu a bit steep... perhaps more than a bit steep. A vineyard destination set apart from the others, this venue is a beautiful setting for a relaxing afternoon.

We arrived near the end of the day so we had the whole space to ourselves. This was great because we have a toddler and I love being able to explore the space and snap photos without worrying about disturbing other customers. The host was super new to town and the job. Trying to order took a long time because she'd walk away to a far away space (kitchen?) to check on each question. "Can we still order food?" Walks away. "Does the charcuterie plate have any goat or sheep cheese?" Walks away. "I'd like the x tasting and the charcuterie platter." Walks away to put in the charcuterie order (instead of pouring the first wine). I wish she could have texted someone or used a computer/tablet to communicate with the kitchen... or had an experienced person there to provide guidance/training. Eventually we got the snacks and wine. They were each... okay. The wine tasting was a bit awkward because she was reading the descriptions (for the first time??) and seemed surprised by some of the flavors/notes mentioned. I can see us visiting again if we're for some reason in town for an event and the event happens to be here, but I'd rather explore other wineries if it's just us or a group of friends exploring Prosser wine tastings.

This was the best stay of our 3 week road trip. We arrived at 1:40 on a hot afternoon. They were…read moreable to check us in then. This was the only place that had two grab bars and a higher toilet. The shower spray was small. Tub was clean. The rooms were clean and roomy with great views out the window to the back of the hotel. Breakfast had a variety of things from eggs to bacon, sausage and pastries (I LOVE the little cinnamon rolls they have) to yogurt, bagels, toast and I think a waffle maker. There are a ton of things to do around here. This hotel sits in one of the best wine tasting areas in the PNW. We visited a couple of wineries and they were dog friendly. We have been to many of the wineries when we are in the area (I am from the Tri Cities but live on W side now). There are plently of places to eat. Starbucks, Dutch Bros, McDonalds, Carl Jr., Wendy's ,etc. The Airfield Winery makes great food to go with your wine . There is also a Best Western in the area. Only about a 30 minute drive to Richland, Wa. We at at a Mexican place called Las Palomas. My husband picked it up at take out as we had a dog with us. We ordered their tacos and they were some of the best we have had in a long time, They were delicious as well as authentic, and we would have had some for breakfast if they were open then. The cost was very reasonable. The hotel is dog friendly and lots of places to walk you dog. There is an outside patio you can eat at and I believe has a bar b que. One of the things I found on this trip...Only about two of the hotels we stayed in on our 3 wk trip to ND had freezers. And they were missing the little knob that adjusted that temp. We always carry a portable thermometer with us so we can know what the temp. But both places said it is because people take them. We have had mini refrigerators at every hotel but most of them have no freezers anymore.

To start out our trip we get to our room everything seemed good till about 10:30pm when a strong cigarette smell started seeping into the hallway and into our room wife and daughter couldn't sleep front desk said they couldn't help so we had to deal with it the next night fire alarm went off and we were freezing outside for an hour at midnight. After all this the hotel didn't feel the need to discount our stay or offer anything
