It had been years since I've had a garbage plate, and it really hit the spot. The name itself isn't the most appealing for sure, but this triggers a nostalgic part of the brain that will never get old and tasted pretty much the way I remember it. Price wise - yeah it's going to be a bit more than normal, but it's a food truck so it's fairly in line with any other food truck I've seen.

Hotchix offers all kinds of food, and you get it in a cup. It's an interesting way of serving food,…read morebut it works. They layer stuff in really well, so that every bite is full of flavor. I bought the Frito boat totchos, which is more or less tater tots with Fritos and chili and cheese mixed in. They use a cheese sauce, instead of shredded cheese. But that's what makes it like nachos. The tots are not necessarily crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside; they're more just soft. But you get the crunch from the Fritos, and the chili was not bad. It was all beef, no beans. I feel like this is almost too much information for a simple dish like this, but it sure did hit the spot, and there was enough to share. My only complaint was the price. It was pretty pricey for what you get.

I'd love to have more right now. It had a nice grilled flavor and all fresh sautéed vegetables like cabbage, carrots, onions, and peppers. The chicken was also cooked perfectly. The steamed momos were okay-much better with the orange sauce provided. We'd definitely get the chowmein again, but maybe try a different momo.

Their Indian street-style noodles and chili chicken are simply phenomenal, full of flavor, perfectly spiced, and always fresh. Every visit feels like a treat, and I genuinely believe they deserve a solid five-star rating. On top of that, the team is incredibly polite, friendly, and welcoming, which makes each visit even more enjoyable. Whether you're a local or just passing by, this food truck is a must-try for anyone who loves authentic, bold, and delicious Indian street food.

I got the suya appetizer, which wasn't as spicy as I prefer and the meat was tough, and the kids chicken jollof rice (the chicken was so flavorless and dry) but the rice had a good smokey flavor. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. The owner responded to this review. They did not greet me. To just point to an area is rude when I say I'm here to pick up an order. I would suggest that you all change this approach. I was excited to try the food based off of other reviews. Attached is a picture of the message that I received from them which confirms that they barely exchanged words (which is in fact rude for an establishment to do). I was not seeking a full conversation but a simple, polite sentence would have sufficed.

I was working late yesterday and o decided to take a walk on South White Street here in Wake…read moreForest. I came across Sushi Mama's food truck which was parked in front of White Street Brewery. It was a busy early evening here in downtown Wake Forest as things are getting back to normal. People were out, the brewery had a nice crowd and the local eateries were hopping. I decided to keep it healthy tonight because I donated blood in the early afternoon. I have become a fan of Poke bowls lately and decided to give this food truck a try. I went with the #103 which is the Flame Seared Poke Bowl with yellowfin tuna. The ingredients were fresh. The bowl is built on a base of white sticky rice with avocado, carrots, cabbage, edamame, mango and crushed tataki chips. It is drizzled with a sweet soy sauce glaze and spicy Mayo, which complemented each other nicely. Again the tuna was really fresh and it was seared perfectly. I also got an order of the tempura shrimp cups which were awesome. You can get these as an appetizer or have them for a light lunch. The bango sauce (not sure what's in it) went with the cups nicely. Now, I couldn't find this food truck here on Yelp, so I added it to do this review. They may be a new business. However, for some reason the location pinned all the way out in Apex when I added them. Not the Yelp expert here so I have no idea how that happened. If your looking to find them I would have a street food finder application. I checked and they are on there. If you happen to see them in your town definitely check them out!
