Hi Debie! We do not have designated parking, however, there is free street parking along Greenwood Ave and in the surrounding neighborhoods. We recommend giving yourself a few extra minutes to park, especially during the evening classes. Thanks for… Read more

Feeling Inspired after a fabulous workout at Inspire…read more I took advantage of the first time client deal and took two classes for $35. They operate sign ups through the MindBody app and have a good amount of class offerings scattered throughout the day. My first class was great! I appreciated that the instructor was super welcoming and took the time to explain the machine. During class, she was highly attentive to everyone's needs and gave great cues and affirmation. She also shared ways to modify. My second class was spicier! The instructor started at the back of the carriage and it was a killer ab workout. Music was great in both classes! Both classes flew by, but were great workouts. A little movement can pack quite the punch. I enjoyed the class and think this is a great pilates studio. This is a single room studio with cubbies along the back wall and a bathroom.

I recently moved to Seattle and have been on a search to find a new Pilates studio to call home. I…read moretried a few other studios in the area prior to coming here and was repeatedly disappointed. On day one at Inspire, I had Kim who was so welcoming and taught an awesome and challenging class. Since then I have taken classes with Mara, Sarah and Becca who have all been phenomenal! The classes are hard though can be paced to your level by just taking breaks along the way on your own accord. The real difference between an okay to great studio is having instructors that can correctly queue and correct technique to ensure you are doing the exercise correct and targeting the intended muscle groups. Every instructor I have had thus far has done just that, which elevates every class and pushes you every time you come to class. Super excited to continue to take classes here !

First and foremost, Kaitlyn M is a rockstar. Her classes are thoughtful, creative, and the perfect balance of challenging yet approachable--you feel the work, but never in a discouraging way. She has amazing energy, gives spot-on cues, and her corrections are always gentle yet effective. I love how she explains what we're working on, what it targets, and how it should feel, while always offering both more advanced and less intense options. Her class flow, the challenge, the stretching--it's all delicious! Her professionalism and ease make it feel like she's been teaching forever, yet she hasn't lost her spark or edge. I'm beyond grateful for her classes and (selfishly) wish she taught even more! Honestly, I hesitate to write this because I don't want to end up stuck on the waitlist, but credit is due where it's deserved--Kaitlyn is amazing! I also have to shout out some of the other fantastic instructors at Vitality: Liz's jumpboard classes are an absolute blast--her spunky energy is contagious, and I look forward to my Thursday nights with Liz and our little jumpboard crew every single week! Mari's classes are top-notch; they're usually waitlisted, and there's a reason why--she's fantastic. Sharareh is a newer teacher, and I love how much care, affinity, and belief in the power of Pilates she brings to every class. She is tender in the best way. Michele also started more recently, but you'd never know it. She taught the first class I ever took at Vitality, and I had no idea she was new--her instruction was clear, and she spoke to the fundamentals of Pilates beautifully. Teaching a beginner class can be tricky, and she handled it seamlessly! Natalie--creative, challenging, and guaranteed to kick your butt! MK is always a joy--consistent and lighthearted, and I leave every class with a smile. Andy... OMG. So hard. So many planks. But a great class nonetheless! Overall, I'm incredibly grateful for Vitality. Their pricing is reasonable, allowing me to do the unlimited package, which has improved both my physical and mental health tenfold. This place is truly a gem!

The staff is very supportive and positive and make everyone feel welcome and at ease. All body types and ages are in attendance at every class which I love! Try it and I think you'll love it just as much as I do!

Three days into the COVID-19 quarantine and I'm already itching to get back into my workout…read moreroutine... which includes getting my barre on at barre3 on Rooosevelt! First off, I love the location of this studio. Super accessible for folks coming from the UW, Ravenna, Greenlake neighborhoods and super convenient for batching a workout with errands (grocery store, quick lunch, coffee to-go). Parking is also a piece of cake in this area. The facility is on the smaller side with an intimate lobby, one studio space, one bathroom, a little play area for kiddos, and some cubbies for storing belongings. Bring a lock if you care to! On an intensity scale of 0-10, with 0 being binge watching Netflix's Love Is Blind and 10 being feeling like I worked out so hard I might throw up, the classes here usually land at a 4 for me. For those who have tried Pure Barre before, barre3 is a lot more toned down and incorporates more yoga/relaxation elements in comparison. While I enjoy this on most days, I sometimes wish the exercises were more challenging and came with additional modifications to kick the workout up a notch. Another small piece of feedback I have is about socks. Out of all the barre/pilates studios I've been to, barre3 seems to be the only one that doesn't require attendees to wear socks, which I don't love... If you're gonna make me do a plank and put my hands directly on the same floor that other people's feet have walked all over, can I at least request that those tootsies not be bare? To end on a more positive note, I've always really enjoyed the instructors here! While I haven't taken class with the same person enough times to build relationships, they always bring such a calming and positive presence to the room. And great playlists, too. I'll be looking forward to my next class at barre3 when this pandemic finally comes to an end. Until then, stay safe and practice good hygiene, everyone!
