I came in on a Saturday and spoke with the owner Roger who was very nice and explained what he would be doing with my guitar and how long it would take. My guitar was done within the week and it was only 50.00! I was very satisfied with how quickly my guitar was done, and it was set up to my satisfaction. Guitar Doctor does offer a wide range of other services such as string replacement, restorations for all types of instruments as well as consignment selection. I highly recommend coming to see Roger to get your instrument right!

I'm very disappointed with my recent experience at Guitar Center…read more I brought in my bass for a setup -- paid $100, and while the setup itself was done well, I found a chip in the finish right by the truss rod adjustment near the nut. That damage was not there when I dropped it off. If you're taking your instrument in for service, inspect it thoroughly before and after. I trusted them with my gear, and they failed me. Edit: Guitar Center got back to me and resolved the issue, and I'm happy with the outcome. It was a bit difficult to get in touch with the manager at first, but I appreciate that they ultimately made it right.

Another music shop tipped me off that this place had several in stock, and upon calling I was delighted to discover that they did. Although they were initially asking over $100 more than some bigger guitar shops online, the manager agreed to match that price and I was able to take home a Yamaha Revstar! The shop itself is pretty cool. When you drive up on Main Street it appears there's a lot of construction and NOT a lot of parking, but this isn't the case - they have a spacious lot in the back. Enter through the black door and you'll find yourself emerging into the shop near a wall of ukuleles. The store basically appeared to have three areas. The first room had the strings, acoustic guitars, (maybe drums and keyboards, I'm not sure), etc. The second area seemed to have equipment for recording and maybe some effects. The third room was well worth traversing the labyrinthine layout for, because that's where they kept the electric guitars and pedals and guitar straps. Despite being a small business they have a great selection. The manager seemed super knowledgeable and helped me pick some extra strings to go with my new guitar at my request. One of the things that really stood out to me too is that they offer a 50% discount on set-up service when you buy a new guitar from them. Although the person who does it was out for the week, I fully intend to bring my guitar back in to get it set up for only 30-something dollars! (Although, it seemed to play great off the wall.) Overall this is a great local music shop and should be on every guitarist's radar.

Super-nice guy and very fair pricing. Used them again today. Called in advance, showed up a few minutes early, and really easy to deal with. A new guy was the lead today and looks like the owner picks his people in the same vein as him. Another super-nice guy and I was very pleased with the price. I took up less of the truck than I thought I would so price was a little better than I expected. I will definitely use them again for junk removal.

My request for an estimate resulted in a misunderstanding with the owner Mark Schneider, and my initial interaction with Junkluggers of Collin County was a rough start. However, Mark worked through the misunderstanding, and he was very apologetic and quickly rectified the matter. He gave me a very competitive quote, and I enjoyed chatting with him when he came out to price the job. Communication was very clear ahead of and on the day of the job. The team of Jeff and Martin arrived promptly; and they worked quickly finishing in only 1 hour, which was half the estimated time. They were professional and respectful of my property, and they made sure I was happy with the work before they left. I asked them to move a heavy sofa bed into a bedroom; it was a very tight fit, which resulted in some damage to the door trim. To their credit, they were very honest and pointed out the damage to me. I believe that they had taken reasonable care and that given the narrow entry, it was likely unavoidable. In sum, I had the same excellent experience with Junkluggers of Collin County that I had with Junkluggers in CT, and I look forward to using their services in the future.

Minda also teaches lessons, so I signed right up. Great experience. She's patient, willing to explain things to my engineering brain, and brilliant. More, when it came time to change a string, Minda gave me a lesson. She even let me change a few strings on a harp she was working on. Telling me how to do it, showing me how to do it, then letting me do it but talking me through each step. Finally, doing it on my own but with her watching. Great way of learning. I was able to go home and confidently change the string myself. Five of five stars. And an extra star because she's just so darn nice about it.

Unlike other schools this school has a very specific schedule. They also have a Spanish, math music and gym teacher for those subjects. In the one class I couldn't believe he talked in front off the class. Not only do I believe he will do great but I think he will do better than his old school. For me it is not about day care or a babysitter it is for his education. I really like the fact that they have a cleaning crew. The teacher is not using their time to clean. They also provide a healthy breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks. They move from class room to class room. The main teacher stays with them. I am really excited to see how he progresses.

I'm not familiar with this particular veterans group in Allen, (VFW 2195) but I have seen them do flag retrievals from this box. That's how I noticed this location.
