What a gem! The Baking Room is a fantastic new bakery. The owners/bakers share enthusiasm and details about their breads, ingredients, and baking process. Clearly a labor of love. My favorite is the pinsa bread--thick, delicious. It's like a mash up of pizza and focaccia. The light marinara on top is fantastic. The space itself is lovely--bright, sunny, and simple, with a cozy seating area. Plus, the interactive chalkboard adds a fun touch. Parking is easy, with spots around back or on the side street. Stopped by yesterday, and full disclosure I love bakeries and this is my neighborhood, so I LOVE having one nearby and may veer into fanboyism. That out of the way, picked up the small sourdough and the pinsa flat bread. Guy at the counter was super chill and answered all my questions and some I hadn't thought to ask but am glad he did. Another man came from behind the counter and chit chatted. Very warm. Smell was great and my sourdough was straight out of the oven! Sourdough: Very crusty and the interior was very fluffy and airy. I'll see if that holds up now it's a day old. I personally love my SD like this, but I know some people may want a milder crust and/or a denser crumb. (More for me!) Pinsa: on suggestion I used it as a pizza base. 375 for like 8 mins and finished under the broiler to get the cheese charred. Was fantastic, and I'll do that again, although I'll probably pay closer attention to their instructions on prep. They had some deserts and a baguette. I will be trying it all. Preorder for Thanksgiving fresh bread is also really cool and I'll be taking advantage of it. Had a decent "day old" as well. Go support these guys. We're really lucky to have something like this in the area. (Something I find myself saying more and more in Aurora.) read more

I love this place. Its been opened a yr and just discovered it. Bought a tasty cappucino, pumpkin scone with cream cheese frosting, roman pinsa bread, and a blueberry maple focaccia (Saturdays foccacia flavor) and everything was delish! The roman pinsa bread is addicting. Both breads were still warm/freshly baked. FYI they do daily foccacia flavors. This place is worth checking out! read more

Just opened today! Bread is fresh, coffee is great. Give this place a try as they're new to the neighborhood. Small cozy shop perfect for working or studying. Service was quick and kind, very welcoming! read more

Sadly I am leaving this 5 star review too late. The Baking Room closed their doors today, Feb 28, 2026. They say they need to take a pause. But I do hope they'll open again somewhere else in the future! Their breads were so amazing and the treats were absolutely delicious, too. And the staff were all just the nicest, warmest, most friendly people. We will absolutely miss The Baking Room!! read more

Wonderful bread and great staff! I wish they didn't sell out so fast! The Miche is very hearty and I love the rustic taste the rye flour give it. The Country Loaf is always great. I love it for toast with eggs and it makes great sandwiches. The blueberry maple focaccia on Saturday is fantastic! The baguettes are full of wonderful bubbly voids inside, unlike any other baguette I've had in town. The Pinza was new to me but it's one of my favorites now too. I used leftover Miche to make some of the tastiest croutons I've had in a while. I can't say enough about this great little bakery. The owner Eric is a font of bread baking knowledge which he will share willingly if you have the time. I'm not sure why they decided to open up where they did but it's close to me, has been fantastic, and I'll continue to support them. read more

This is the best sourdough bread in Denver. Hands down. Soft and holey inside, crunchy goodness on the outside.

I love your cozy little bakery and coffee house it's perfect. The staff was so friendly and attentive. I can't believe how good the breads and sweets are. The sourdough is legit. I wish I had a bakery this good on the Westside of Denver. I will be making the trek to this special denver food gem on a regular basis. This is the closest version to French baguettes that I've found in Denver. The crust and inside are just the right texture. I like it with European butter, and it makes a great sandwich. My favorite filling is roast turkey, Brie, sliced pears and fig jam. read more

Ive visited a couple times and I love this place. Great lattes, and one time I got the coffee cake and another time a lemon poppyseed scone- both were delicious!
