Update: Regarding the Owner's response, I give reviews to help consumers with their purchase decisions and to help businesses improve when needed - not to get freebies. I appreciate the owner's offer, but decline.

Based on what I had heard and what I had read in reviews, I really wanted to like this place, so we tried it for the first time this past Saturday.
I placed an online order Friday night for pick up at 12:15 Saturday. I walked in the door shortly before 12:15, and my order was just being placed on the shelf. The person at the counter asked my name and handed me my order. So far, great service. When I got home, everything was there and made exactly as we ordered. Again, great service.

Unfortunately, my wife and I were both disappointed in the sandwiches. The goetta was sliced extremely thin and fried to a crisp - as in crunchy with no goetta flavor. I didn't think it was possible to slice
Glier's goetta that thin. The eggs were "scrambled", which meant they were a yellow disk with the consistency of an omelette but without much egg flavor. As for the New York-style bagels, if you like your bagels tough and chewy, then these are for you. Unfortunately, they were too tough and chewy for us. read more
