To pick a friend out, stuff it, participate in the heart ceremony, fluff it, and dress it up, makes a new friend even more special. We have been to Build a Bears in several states. This location does have some of the more genuinely friendly staff. To provide such an unique experience, friendly staff is key. Even with the craziness that was the Pay Your Age event, customer service was on point. Once inside the store, the customer experience was no different than a regular visit. I tried to hurry my children, so the next group could enter. The staff seemed to be trying to give the children the full experience. This location was very calm inside. The way the unstuffed animals are displayed maximizes the selection for the space provided. Some locations spread out the selections. I like that this location has everything close together. Three stuffing stations are available. Three computers for registering one's furry creations, and a couple "wash"/ fluffing stations are available. Such an experience does not come cheap. From the higher price of the animals, to the price of outfits, accessories, and furniture, creating a new friend can really add up. Some of the outfits are as much as the stuffed animals.

Very patient, very knowledgeable and saved my wife's vase from disaster (I got a bit over zealous on the blowing part). After we finished, they explained the cool down process (it takes about a week) and we scheduled our pickup time. The whole experience, for both of us, wasn't that expensive and we had a great time. I was not pressured into trying to buy something, I wasn't told about the deal that ends today and told if I buy tomorrow it will cost more. Not of that garbage. Since I am in Liberty Twp, he even recommend I check on zoning, which I did and this reminded me why I don't like government at times... Money for nothing and taxes for everything. Even just to replace my existing unit a building permit ok, I get that, but if I went bigger than I need a second building permit and to file multiple copies of a building plan... ugh Can't I just email one copy and you send it. Sorry for the rant. These people are the best in the area, come see them if you need a shed or a small garage, or make it into a large playhouse for the kids. They have you covered.

It is a beautiful farm and a perfect holiday errand as the Christmas season arrives. You're able to bring your dog along, as well, which is always a fun perk! They also have a section where you can pet and feed the goats on the farm. The Christmas Trees here are so beautiful! We had so many to choose from. Once we selected one, a worker was able to help us check-out and get us situated for our car to pick the tree up. You take the tag from the tree and pay for it inside the barn/gift shop. The gift shop has wreaths, ornaments, nativity scene figures, stockings, and pretty much anything else you can think of in terms of Christmas decor. We found a new tree topper during our visit too, which was on our agenda. Every employee we encountered was so kind and friendly! There are selections of fudge, locally made kettle corn, and other snacks available, along with complimentary hot chocolate. Our tree was around $100, which I think is more than real trees offered at super markets, however the experience of the farm and quality of the tree make it an incredible value. Big Tree Plantation holds such a special place in my heart!

We went to get a tree today and all the trees in the field were brown or not very full, so we ended up getting a pre-cut tree from the tree barn. Part of the fun is cutting it down yourself so this was a bummer. They do have other things- a barn with gifts and decor, snacks and free hot chocolate. They also have some goats you can pet and feed. These are nice but unfortunately they have gone down hill in their main thing - Christmas trees. Next year we will go elsewhere for a tree. I attended the Northminster Fine Arts Fair for the first time, and enjoyed every minute of it…read more With the frigid temperatures and recent snow, it was a great opportunity to get out of the house and participate in a fun outside event. And the event itself made it worth my while. The parking lot was huge, and -- thank you, thank you -- it was completely cleared of snow, despite yesterday's additional snowfall (the Kroger's lots weren't this clean). And for a church-sponsored event, this was huge, and well-run. There were three large rooms for the arts show, plus a fair trade room, a children's crafts room, and a table where baked goods were sold. But the star of the show were the 47 (!!!!) Artists and the booths. There was an amazing amount of variety -- jewelry, painting, to leather work, to pottery, to fiber art to photography, to glass-work and woodwork. And the quality was very high -- each booth was very creative and unusual with a lot of amazing choices. I had some great conversations with artists excited to share their craft, and left with some beautiful treasures!
